시선유도시설 시인성 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis on Visibility of Delineators by Survey)

  • 도로의 곡선부는 기하구조상 운전자의 시각변화가 현저하게 발생하고, 속도편차가 크게 나타나며, 다양한 원인에 의해 직선부보다 큰 위험을 내포하고 있다. 1999년도 교통문화운동본부의 설문조사에 따르면, 약 78%의 운전자가 안전표지판에 대한 불만을 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 불만 요인으로는 시인성 부족이 27.9%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 특히, 야간 또는 기상 악화로 인해 시선유도시설의 시인성 마비는 도로선형에 관한 정보를 부적절하게 전달하여 운전자의 안전을 위협할 뿐만 아니라, 도로의 서비스수준에도 영향을 미치므로 운전자의 시인성을 향상시키는 새로운 시선유도시설물의 설치와 관리가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 기 설치 운영 중인 재귀반사식 시선유도시설과 도로안전을 향상시키기 위해 새로 개발된 내부조명식 시선유도시설에 대해 운전자가 곡선부를 주행할 때 도로선형에 대한 정보를 효과적으로 얻고, 시인성이 향상된 시선유도시설물에 대해 1차, 2차 설문조사를 통해 통계적으로 비교 분석한 후, 교통안전을 향상시키는 최적의 시선유도시설물을 제시하였다. 설문조사 결과, 재귀반사식 보다 내부조명식 시선유도시설에서 시인성, 속도감속 필요성, 안전성에 대하여 더 효과적인 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 본 연구를 통해 교통안전이 향상된 시선유도시설물을 설치할 경우, 운전자에게 도로선형에 대한 정보를 보다 효과적으로 제공함은 물론 곡선부 교통사고 위험도를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

평형해법에 의한 스탬핑 공정의 단면 해석 (Sectional analysis of stamping processes using Equilibrium approach)

  • An equilibrium approach is suggested as an effective tool for the analysis of sheet metal forming processes on the basis of force balance together with geometric relations and plasticity theroy. In computing a force balance equation, it is required to define a geometric curve approximating the shape of the sheet metal at any step of deformation from the geometric interaction between the die and the deforming sheet. Then the geometic informations for contacting and non-contacting sections of the sheet metal such as the number and length of both non-contact region, contact angle, and die radius of contact section are known from the geometric forming curve and utilized for optimization by force balance equation. In computation, the sheet material is assumed to be of normal amisotropy and rigid-phastic workhardening. It has been shown that there are good agreements between the equilibrium approach and FEM computation for the benchmark test example and auto-body panels whose sections can be assumed in plane-strain state. The proposed equilibrium approach can thus be used as a robust computational method in estimating the forming defects and forming severity rather quickly in the die design stage.

풍력발전기 너셀에 장착된 풍속계를 이용한 출력성능 평가 (Evaluation of Power Performance by Anemometer on WTGS)

  • We carried out the power performance evaluation for 1.5 MW${\times}$2 by using anemometer installed on WTGS(Wind Turbine Generator System) in the wind farm at Shi-hwa bang-a-mu-ri. In this paper, we compared and analyzed the performance of guaranteed output and measured output of WTGS which includes output curve, output coefficient, AEP(Annual Energy Product) and availability, etc.. The power performance of WTGS was optimized in the low wind speed sections(3 m/s ~ 10 m/s) and the measured output was more produced by AEP 109 % and availability 112 % than the guaranteed output. In addition, we could also cut the high cost of testing WTGS performance by using anemometer as a substitute for weather mast.

  • 강도 설계법에 기반을 둔 콘크리트구조설계기준은 전 응력의 계산이 불가능하기 때문에 한계 상태 설계법에 근간을 둔 EC2와 휨 압축부재의 P-M상관도를 비교분석하였다. 해석결과, 설계기준에 따라 P-M상관도는 거의 유사하였지만 피복두께가 클 경우 EC2에 의한 값이 보다 안전 측에 해당하였다.

원호조합곡선에 의한 제로터 내부로터의 형상설계 (Profile Design of the Inner Rotor of a Gerotor by the Composite Curve of Circular Arcs)

  • As the gerotor set with ideal profile meshes too tight, the reduction in the size of the rotor is generally adopted for a smooth operation. In this paper, a method of the profile modification for providing clearances was proposed. The meshing properties of the gerotor were analyzed and the non-boundary section of the inner rotor was identified, which denoted that the adjacent chambers were in the same pressure state. Clearances were imposed on the non-boundary section of the inner rotor, and then the profile of that section was modified as a composite curve of arcs. The other sections of the inner rotor were also interpolated as arcs. Thus, the whole profile of the inner rotor was designed as a composite curve of arcs.

Kinematic Displacement Theory of Planar Structures

  • This paper presents a new curvature based kinematic displacement theory and a numerical method to calculate the planar displacement of structures from a geometrical viewpoint. The theory provides an opportunity to satisfy the kinematic equilibrium of a planar structure using a progressive numerical approach, in which the cross sections are assumed to remain plane, and the deflection curve was evaluated geometrically using the curvature values despite being solved using differential equations. The deflection curve is parameterized with the arc-length, and was taken as an assembly of the chains of circular arcs. Fast and accurate solutions of most complex deflections can be obtained with few inputs.

정상인의 교합 만곡 분석에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE ANALYSIS OF OCCLUSAL CURVE OF THE NORMAL SUBJECTS)

  • This study was done to analyze the occlusal curve as one of the factors to be considered for maintenance of occlusal stability in the orthodontic and prosthodontic treatments. Sixty gnathological casts we.e obtained from 43 subjects with normal occlusion and 17 subjects with some of temporomandibular disorders. The occlusal surfaces of gnathologic casts were duplicated by using a Color kit SK-700 and tile reference points of X, Y coordinates were digitized by using the Summagraphic digitizer and 18AT computer system. The Z coordinates of cusp height were measured by 0.01mm measurable caliper. The mathematical computer program of least square method was used to analyze the occlusal curve arranged by three dimensional coordinates of X, Y, Z. The following results were obtained : 1. The occlusal curve of buccal and lingual cusp tips was fitted to the ellipse, and the occlusal curve of anterior teeth was fitted to a part of the circle in the analysis of conic sections. 2. The radius of Spee's curve showed individual differences, but was average 98.7mm in male subjects and 93.7mm in female subjects. 3. The radius fo Spee's curve according to the half of canine width showed the least coefficient of variation. 4. The radius of Spee's curve was not significantly relative to the lateral occlusal contacts on laterotrusion and the absence or presence of temporomandibular disorders. 5. The radius of Wilson's curve showed individual difference and the size of radius was followed by the order of 1st premolar, 2nd premolar, 2nd molar and 1st molar.

인지거리와 측방위치를 이용한 시선유도시설의 설치방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Installation Method of Delineation System Using Detection Distance and Lateral Position)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 운전자의 행태를 통한 시선유도시설의 효과를 검증하고, 도로의 기하구조에 따라 어떤 시선유도시설의 효과가 우수한지에 대해 그 결과를 제시하고자 함이며, 이를 위해 GPS가 장착된 차량을 이용하여 시선유도시설의 인지거리와 측방이격 폭을 측정하였다. 실험결과 첫째로 야간에 운전자는 시선유도시설이 설치될 경우 도로선형 인지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째로 직선구간에서는 표지병보다 시선유도표지의 인지거리가 길고 곡선부에서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 갈매기표지는 곡선부에서 인지거리가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 표지병은 인지거리와 측방위치에서 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 직선부에서는 시선유도표지가, 곡선부에서는 갈매기표지의 설치가 권장된다.

3MW 풍력발전시스템 출력성능평가에 관한 연구 (The Power Performance Testing for 3MW Wind turbine System)

  • We are carried out power performance testing for 3MW wind turbine system at Je-ju wind turbine testing Site and analyzed measured data which was stored through monitoring system. In this paper, we described the power performance testing results and analyzed an uncertainty of measured data sets. The power curve with measured power data is closely coincide with designed power curve except for the low wind speed sections(4m/s~7m/s) and the annual energy production which is given Ray leigh distribution was included with 1.5~5.9% of uncertainty in the wind speed region as 4~11m/s. Although the deviation of curve between measured power and designed power is high, the difference of annual energy production is low in the low wind speed region.

Elastic-plastic formulation for concrete encased sections interaction diagram tracing

  • Composite sections design consists on checking that the point defined by axial load and bending moment keeps included within the surface enclosed by the section interaction curve. Eurocode 4 suggests a method for tracing this diagram based on the plastic stress distribution method. However curves obtained according to this criterion overvalue concrete encased sections bearing capacity, especially when axial force comes with high bending moment values, so a correction factor is required. This article proposes a method for tracing this diagram based on the strain compatibility method. When stresses on the section are integrated by considering the Navier hypothesis, the use of the materials nonlinear constitutive equations provides curves much more adjusted to reality. This process requires the use of rather complex software which might reveal as too complex for practitioners. Preserving the same criteria of an elastic-plastic stress distribution, this article presents alternative expressions to obtain the failure internal forces in five significant points of the interaction diagram having considered five different positions of the neutral axis. These expressions are simply enough for their practical application. Concordance of curves traced strictly relying on these five points with those obtained by computer assisted stress integration considering the strain compatibility method and even with Eurocode 4 weighted curves will be presented for three different cross-sections and two different concrete strengths, revealing very good results.
