Entering into the 21th century, the whole world is facing the various problems such as environmental disruption, resource exhaustion, and social isolation due to the consequences of population growth and economic development. Especially, as the world population is aging, the solutions for these problems are being suggested with a new paradigm of environmental design for sustainable society providing more affluent and safer life for them. Aging societies are experiencing the difficulty in pursuing persistent vitality of life when aged population is socially excluded, and communities are stagnant due to the decrease of economic activities. In other words, those factors are causing the problems of social sustainability associated with the vital duration of local society and communities. In order to develop successful environment for aging society, it is necessary for us to precisely review how advanced countries are changing their directions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine current trends of the aging friendly environment and find out the measures to promote social sustainability under the crisis of aging society. For this purpose, using qualitative methods, this study analyzed the contents presented at a professional conference , that showed current trends clearly, into three dimensions of social sustainability; the social integration of senior living communities with local society, the vitality of the communities, and the invigoration of individual senior lives. As a result, this study found that the measures that attempt to enhance the social sustainability of aging population can be also used to invigorate the communities.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of MZ generation's lifestyle-related research from 2010 to 2020. As a result of searching keywords such as MZ generation's and lifestyle using academic database search sites, a total of 218 cases were used as analysis data to conduct frequency and content analysis. First, research type was 74 dissertations(34.6%), 144 journals(65.4%). The study of MZ generation was relatively active in journals. Second, the current status of academic field was 85(39.7%) in the social field, followed by 66(30.8%) in the arts/physical education, 21(9.8%) in the complex studies, 16(7.5%) in education, 15(7.0%) in nature, 6(2.8%) in engineering, 4(1.9%) in humanities, 1(0.5%) in agriculture/marine. Third, the current status of MZ generation research topics is 54 social participations(25.3%), 35 fashion/beauty(16.3%), 31 social/organizational adaptations(14.5%), 25 cultural/leisure activities(11.7%), 24 design/development projects(11.2%), 21 economic/employment/job projects(9.8%), 11 educational/career/experiences(5.1%), 9 self-concepts(4.2%), 4 welfare services(1.9%). Fourth, the current status of MZ generation research methods was quantitative research(survey/experiment) 125(58.4%), qualitative research(depth interview/participant observation) 42(19.6%), theory/literature research 35(16.4%) and mixed research 12(5.6%). Fifth, the study on the lifestyle of the MZ generation was conducted in four cases, one in 2016, one in 2019, two in 2020. This study is meaningful in that it grasped the overall flow of data of information exchange that can share the research trends of the MZ generation and suggested the basic data on the direction of future research, the individual tendency, behavior, and lifestyle characteristics of the MZ generation.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the current trends of various herbal medicine research on allergic disease with dysbiosis. Methods : Electronic searches were performed using Pubmed, Research Information Sharing Service(RISS), Korean studies Information Service System(KISS), Oriental medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System(OASIS). Results : We analyzed ten studies on the effect of herbal medicine on allergic disease with dysbiosis. Eight studies were animal experimental studies, and two were randomized clinical trial(RCT) study and one-group pretest-posttest research, respectively. Among the studies, three studies were on atopic dermatitis, two on allergic rhinitis, and five on asthma. All different herbal medicines were used in the studies. Changes in gut microbiota composition were observed in nine studies except for 1 RCT study. In eight animal experimental studies, there was significant reduction in allergy-related inflammatory markers. Six studies evaluated the change of metabolites related to gut microbiota and three of them showed significant increase in short-chain fatty acids(SCFA). Conclusion : This study provides current trends of studies on herbal medicine research on allergic disease with dysbiosis. Most research is conducted using animal experiments, and this is a relatively recent trend. These studies offer basic knowledge on the correlation between herbal medicine, gut microbiota, and anti-inflammatory effects in allergic disease.

The purpose of this paper is to identify current trends in the sport industry in Korea, U.S. and Japan and to also analyze the potential of the sport industry in the 21st Century. This paper analyzes the current sport related index of Korea, U.S. and Japan and the effect of scientific development. Scientific development has provided prosperity to modern societies and has thus increased the personal disposable income and leisure time available to people living in these societies, Many people spend their?leisure time on sports related activities and the number is growing day by day and this situation makes the sports market a very attractive and important business sector in the world. Considering the increase of household income and leisure time and the introduction of a five-day working week system, the sports market potential growth will be considerable and it is certain the demand for sports related activities, services and products will also show increases in the 21st Century. This paper estimates that sports expenditures could be estimated at $10 billion in Korea, $150 billion in U.S and 4.3 billion yen in Japan. The general trends currently in action in the sport industry estimate that these numbers are growing rapidly and the relative importance of the sport industry among all industries is becoming one of the most important new emerging markets in the world.

The purpose of this study is to provide the configuration alternatives for the special classroom of the elementary school reflecting current trends of the health promotion education. Initiated by WHO(World Health Organization), the concept of health-promoting school has been widely advocated as an approach to enhance public health through school based health promotion. Korean Ministry of Education has also adopted the concept and many elementary schools has been participating in developing the curricula and educating students as the health promoting model schools. This study analyzes methodologies and education programs of current health promoting curriculum of the schools since 2009, explores the spacial features of other public facilities offering similar education program and surveys relating teachers. Based on the analysis, the study seeks the basic elements for health promoting classroom and deduces several classroom space configurations to optimize students' learning effects. This study can be a case method for other classroom typology studies especially with the current diversification tendency of elementary school education services.
