  • 본 연구에서는 말뚝과 관련하여 실무 기술진에게 각종 개념에 대한 이해도를 증진시키며, 국내 설계시공 관련한 제반 문제점을 조사 분석하여 이에 대한 해결 방안을 제시할 뿐 아니라 건설공해로 지칭되는 각종 공해중에서 특히 항타작업에 따라 유발되는 진동과 소음에 대하여 지반조건과 항타 방법에 따른 전파특성을 알아보고 측정 결과와 민원조사 결괄르 통하여 현재의 관리기준을 검토하였다.

학교 목공 교육의 당면과제 및 대안 -초등 목공 교육을 중심으로- (Current Problems and Their Alternatives of Woodworking Education in School)

  • The objectives of this study were to identify current problems and to propose alternatives of woodworking education in school. This study was carried out through the literature review. Even though woodworking in school has a lot of merits, it has not been fully established yet. Current problems in school woodworking were identified as the absence of educational philosophy of woodworking, unambiguous education objectives, incongruity of educational contents and hierarchy, inadequate quality of teachers, poor surroundings for practice, lack of ancillary materials for teaching and learning, and the absence of community for interchanging information. It was proposed that educational philosophy of woodworking and concrete education objectives should be set up, educational contents should be organized in a proper level, and surroundings for practice should be improved. And, it was also proposed that teacher education should be made to upgrade qualities of teachers, ancillary materials for teaching and learning should be developed, and community for interchanging information should be set up.

Conceptualizing Teacher Candidates' Figured Worlds in Learning to Enact Core Practices

  • This conceptual paper proposes a conceptualization regarding teacher candidates' experiences as learners during instructional activities implemented by teacher educators in practice-based teacher education programs. We argue that the current learning cycle framework for teacher candidates to engage in core teaching practices does not fully address teacher candidates' own learning experiences as learners. To provide a rationale for our proposal, we examine the current conceptualization of learning to enact core practices and suggest the need for integrating teacher candidates' experiences into the current conceptualization. We also draw on research on figured worlds as an effort to conceptualize teacher candidates' experiences coming from multiple figured world. We present some examples from our own mathematics methods courses to illustrate how this newly proposed framework can be used in practice and share remaining questions for future research.

간호 학생의 지역사회간호 실습 경험에 대한 유형 분석 -Q방법론적 접근- (A Q-Methodological Study on the Community Nursing Practice of Nursing Students)

  • This study measures the subjectivity of nursing students' experience in community fields through community nursing practice. The purpose of this study is as follows: 1) to find out typologies based on opinions and attitudes toward community nursing practice. 2) to describe the characteristic of each type. 3) to provide alternative strategies for solving community nursing practice problems. A Q-Methodological method was used for that purpose. As a research method, Q-statements were collected through indepth interviews and review of the current literature. For this study 34 Q-statements were selected. 24 nursing students were subjects for the research. The 24 nursing students sorted 34 Q-statements using the principle of Forced Normal Distribution. The principle of Forced Normal Distribution, which has nine scales to measure individual opinions, was called, a Q- Factor Analysis by using a PC Quanl Program to supply the material. According to the results of this study, there were three categories of opinion concerning community nursing practice. The first type is the realistic problem-oriented approach: the second type is the self-responsibility or pursuit of life meaning approach: the third type is the group approach for problem solving. As a result, we need to develop and revise a more realistic way of community nursing practice for nursing students. Finally, the result of this study will provide to the educational program alternative strategies for community nursing practice for nursing students.

South Korean nursing students' experiences of clinical practice in the newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit: A phenomenological study

  • Purpose: While clinical practice is crucial for nursing students to acquire the skills needed to provide professional, high-quality nursing care, further studies on improving undergraduate nursing programs are needed to provide a supportive clinical learning environment for student nurses. This study aimed to understand nursing students' clinical experiences in newborn nurseries and neonatal intensive care units and to provide basic data for the establishment of strategies to promote effective clinical education. Methods: Interviews were held with 15 nursing students at J University who had clinical practice experience in the newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit. The collected data were analyzed using the phenomenological analysis method developed by Colaizzi (1978). Results: The nursing students' experiences were grouped into four categories: "expectations for and anxiety about clinical practice", "acquisition of a wide range of knowledge regarding neonatal nursing", "challenges faced in clinical practice", and "experiencing interpersonal changes". Conclusion: The current neonatal practice nursing education system provides students with positive learning experiences. However, the lack of practice opportunities, insufficient instruction, and the theory-practice gap were identified as major issues hindering students' learning needs. These study results are expected to provide basic data for curriculum development to improve undergraduate nursing education.

Influence of Physical Therapist and Work Environment on Evidence-Based Practice in South Korea

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the practitioner and organizational characteristics that either detracted from or encouraged the use of evidence-based practice (EBP) by physical therapists. Design: A cross-sectional survey study Methods: Participants were 260 physical therapists currently practicing in South Korea. They completed a questionnaire designed to determine attitudes, beliefs, interest, self-efficacy and barriers to EBP, as well as demographic information about themselves and their practice settings. Logistic regression was used to examine relationships between socio-demographic and work environment characteristics and each practitioner factor. Results: Respondents agreed that the use of evidence in practice was necessary. Although 80% of them agreed that research findings are useful, 71% felt that a divide exists between research and practice. In terms of confidence in their skills, the ability to interpret results of statistical procedures ranked lowest. Despite internet access at work for 63% of respondents, only 14% were given protected work time to search and appraise the literature. Only 2% of respondents stated that their organization had a written requirement to use current evidence in their practice. The primary barrier to implementing EBP was a reported lack of time. Conclusions: In conclusion, most physical therapists stated they had a positive attitude toward EBP and were interested in learning or improving the skills necessary for implementation. Most recognized a need to increase the use of evidence in their daily practice, but a lack of ability to understand the results of research represents a significant barrier to implementing EBP.

교통사고 상해증후군의 한의 임상진료 현황조사를 위한 웹기반 설문조사 (A Web-based Survey on Clinical Practice Patterns of Korean Medicine Treatment for Traffic Injuries)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand current status of Korean Medicine treatment practice patterns for traffic injuries by web-based survey. Methods The structured questionnaire was distributed by a web based survey to 1,630 potential respondents by email from December 19th in 2016 to February 13th in 2017. All data were statistically analysed. Results The response rate was 79.4%. According to the analysis of the outcome of the survey, 88.0% of the participants felt necessity of the development of Korean medicine clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for traffic injuries. Survey results showed cognitive degree about Korean Medicine CPGs' necessity, individual Korean medicine treatments and requirement for extending insurance coverage for patients with traffic injuries. Conclusions This survey study helps to determine current clinical practice patterns of Korea medicine treatments for traffic injuries. These results further anticipate to provide basic data for CPGs for traffic injuries.

국내 병원에서 이루어지고 있는 인수인계 현황에 대한 조사연구 (An Exploration about Current Nursing Handover Practice in Korean Hospitals)

  • Purpose: Examining current status of nursing intershift handover practice would provide opportunity to identify areas in need of improvement. The aim of this study was to describe nursing intershift handover practice in Korean hospitals. Methods: A cross-sectional survey using questionnaire was used to collect data. A total of 788 nurses working in general hospitals had participated. Results: More than half of the nurses participated responded that they used kardex for verbal handover (51.8%). The average time took for handover was 40.2 minutes (SD=14.7). Only 5.8% of nurses were satisfied with intershift handover practice. 72.9% of respondents did not have manuals for handover and 86% of nurses considered intershift handover manuals were necessary. Most nurses considered intershift handover pratice as an important component for patient safety (99.2%). The causes of handover error were interruption during handover, high work load, and stress/fatigue of nurses. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicated a need to develop handover practice guidelines which outline pertinent details. Intershift handover practice guidelines could provide consistency and structure to the information that is handed over.

간암 진료가이드라인의 현재와 전망 (Clinical Practice Guidelines for Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Current and Future Perspectives)

  • 간세포암종은 만성 간질환과 간경변증을 동반하는 경우가 많고, 예후에 종양 인자 이외에도 잔존 간 기능이 주요한 영향을 미친다. 또한, 간세포암종에 대한 고위험인자를 가진 경우 특정한 영상 소견(예: 고혈관성)을 보이면, 조직검사 없이도 비침습적인 진단이 가능하다. 다른 고형암에서와 마찬가지로 수술적 절제, 방사선치료, 항암치료 등의 치료가 시행되기도 하지만, 간세포암종에서만 이루어진다고도 할 수 있는 간이식, 경동맥화학색전술, 고주파열치료술과 같은 치료 방법들이 시행되기도 한다. 종양의 다양성, 치료 방법의 다양성, 사회적 여건(의료 보건 체계, 의료 자원의 가용성 등) 등을 반영하며 여러 간세포암종 가이드라인들이 발표되어 왔으며, 각 가이드라인들은 여러 측면에서 유사하면서도 서로 상이하기도 하다. 본고에서는 다음의 간세포암종 진료 가이드라인들을 살펴보고, 가이드라인들의 특징과 앞으로 가이드라인에서 다루어야 할 부분 등에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

Korean Surgical Practice Guideline for Pancreatic Cancer 2022: A summary of evidence-based surgical approaches

  • Pancreatic cancer is the eighth most common cancer and the fifth most common cause of cancer-related deaths in Korea. Despite the increasing incidence and high mortality rate of pancreatic cancer, there are no appropriate surgical practice guidelines for the current domestic medical situation. To enable standardization of management and facilitate improvements in surgical outcome, a total of 10 pancreatic surgical experts who are members of Korean Association of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery have developed new recommendations that integrate the most up-to-date, evidence-based research findings and expert opinions. This is an English version of the Korean Surgical Practice Guideline for Pancreatic Cancer 2022. This guideline includes 13 surgical questions and 15 statements. Due to the lack of high-level evidence, strong recommendation is almost impossible. However, we believe that this guideline will help surgeons understand the current status of evidence and suggest what to investigate further to establish more solid recommendations in the future.
