영전압 영전류 스위칭을 이용한 연료전지용 전력변환시스템 (A zero-voltage zero-current switching power conversion system for fuel cell)

  • 일반적인 푸시풀 컨버터는 스위치 소자의 전압 스트레스로 인하여 그 사용범위가 제한적이다. 그러나 푸시풀 컨버터는 연료전지와 같이 가변의 저전압에서 고전압 출력을 요하는 전력변환기에 적합한 구조이다. 본 논문에서는 연료전지 시스템에 ZVS-ZCS가 가능한 새로운 전력변환기 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 푸시폴 컨버터의 스위치 소자는 새로운 수동 클램프 회로에 의해 ZVS 또는 ZCS가 이루어진다. 또한 이러한 수동 클램프 회로로 푸시풀 컨버터의 순시과전압 문제가 해결되었다. 또한 두 배의 주파수를 갖는 벅 컨버터의 스위칭 신호가 푸시풀 컨버터의 스위칭 신호에 동기 시킴으로서 전류 형 인덕터와 변압기 권선의 피크 전류가 저감된다. 제안하는 계통 연계형 연료 전지 시스템에 대한 동작을 이론적으로 분석하고 시뮬레이션 및 DSP TMS320F2812 을 이용한 1 [kW]급 시작품의 실험 결과로부터 제안하는 인버터의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • Advantages of switched reluctance motor(SRM) drives make it an attractive candidate for replacing adjustable speed ac and dc drives in both industrial and consumer applications. Furthermore, a simple, low cost and robust SRM drive can be efficiently operated in the hostile environment of an automobile. Generally, the speed control of SRM has a large step change or large torque reference, the output of its PI controller is often saturated. When this happens, the integral state is not consistent with the SRM input, while may give rise to the windup phenomenon. This paper proposes anti-windup control method for SRM speed control system by hysteresis current controlled asymmetry bridge converter. The experimental results show that the speed response has much improved performance, such as a small overshoot and fast settling time at the acceleration and particulary deceleration period with braking mode.

Z-원 승압인버터를 이용한 변압기 없는 DGS제어 (Transformerless DGS Control using a Z-source Boost Inverter)

  • 본 논문은 분산전원시스템(DGS)을 위 한 시스템 모델링, 수정된 SVPWM 적용 그리고 수동소자인 L과 C로 구성된 Z-원 인버터의 제어기에 대하여 기술하였다. 기존의 DC/DC 승압 컨버터나 변압기를 사용하지 않고 낮은 DC 입력을 상용 AC로 만들기 위해서 SVPWM의 영벡터 구간을 이용해 DC-링크단 전압을 승압하는데 이용하였다. 한 스위칭주기에 3개조의 스위칭소자 중에 2개조만 동시 도통되도록 하여 유효벡터의 손실 없이 승압이 가능하도록 하였다. 빠르고 오버슈트가 없는 전류응답과 낮은 정상상태 전압오차를 얻기 위해서 이산시간 슬라이딩모드 전류제어기와 강인한 서보기구 전압제어기를 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘의 유용성을 확인하였다.

4-병렬 제어 기법을 적용한 6kW 영전압 스위칭 승압형 컨버터 개발 (Development of 6kW ZVS Boost Converter by 4-Parallel Operation)

  • This paper presents development of 6kw ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) boost converter by 4-parallel operation. To realize a high capacity converter with 6 kw, 4-parallel operation of 1.5kW unit module is proposed in this paper. To meet high ratio input to output voltage, isolated type booster converter is designed. To achieve ZVS operation of 4-switches of full bridge and protect a voltage overshoot caused by switch turn-off, simple active-clamp circuit is applied to the primary side. For parallel operation of 4-modules, master-slave control method is proposed to achieve input current sharing of 4-unit converter modules accurately. For performance tests, simulation is carried out. Also, load and experimental tests of the developed booster converter, 230Vdc/6kW, are carried out under various conditions. For field tests, the developed converter is applied for boosting a battery power to high DC_link voltage for a VSI inverter which starts a micro-turbine(MT) installed in vehicle and it's performance is verified through high speed motoring a MT up to tens of thousands of rpm.

  • 본 논문에서는 LED조명의 휘도조절을 위해 PWM dimming시 발생하는 LED전류의 과도 상태제거를 위한 전류 제어 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 LED전류 제어 기법은 과도상태가 존재하지 않으므로 Dimming신호의 동작 시비율이 매우 작은 영역에서도 전류 제어를 통해 낮은 휘도를 정밀하게 표현할 수 있다. 또한 전류의 Overshoot이 발생하지 않으므로 휘도를 일정하게 유지할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 LED전류 제어 기법의 동작원리를 설명하고, LED휘도 조절을 위한 전원시스템을 구현하여 PSIM 을 통해 제안된 기법의 타당성 및 우수성을 검증한다.

고밀도 디스크 드라이브의 안착시간 최소화 제어 (Control For Minimizing Settling Time in High-Density Disk Drives)

  • During seek operation in disk drives, the recording head is moved toward desired track by seek servo controller and then is settled onto the center of the desired track by settling servo controller. If the head speed at the start of settling servo control is not slow, it may produce overshoot relative to the center of track and thus extend the settling time. The degradation in settling performance will be more severe as the track width becomes smaller for higher density of data storage. We design a new settling servo controller for minimizing settling time based on the pole-zero cancellation. In order to cancel slow poles in settling response, we apply discrete pulse signals to the system in addition to the state feedback control. For exact pole-zero cancellation, we consider the dynamics of power amplifier used for actuator current regulation and the effects of delay in control action. In addition, we present system parameter identification algerian for the robustness of our controller to system parameter variation. In order to demonstrate the practical use of our controller, we present experimental results obtained by using a commercially available disk drive.

Development of a Novel Direct-Drive Tubular Linear Brushless Permanent-Magnet Motor

  • This paper presents a novel design for a tubular linear brushless permanent-magnet motor. In this design, the magnets in the moving part are oriented in an NS-NS―SN-SN fashion which leads to higher magnetic force near the like-pole region. An analytical methodology to calculate the motor force and to size the actuator was developed. The linear motor is operated in conjunction with a position sensor, three power amplifiers, and a controller to form a complete solution for controlled precision actuation. Real-time digital controllers enhanced the dynamic performance of the motor, and gain scheduling reduced the effects of a nonlinear dead band. In its current state, the motor has a rise time of 30 ms, a settling time of 60 ms, and 25% overshoot to a 5-mm step command. The motor has a maximum speed of 1.5 m/s and acceleration up to 10 g. It has a 10-cm travel range and 26-N maximum pull-out force. The compact size of the motor suggests it could be used in robotic applications requiring moderate force and precision, such as robotic-gripper positioning or actuation. The moving part of the motor can extend significantly beyond its fixed support base. This reaching ability makes it useful in applications requiring a small, direct-drive actuator, which is required to extend into a spatially constrained environment.

  • 본 논문은 부하에 대한 빠른 응답 특성을 보이는 새로운 SRM 구동 토폴로지를 제안하였다. PI 제어기 출력이 포화될 때 windup 현상이 나타나고 그 결과로 성능이 저하된다. 따라서 전동기의 가변속 제어 성능을 위해 가속 시에는 개선된 Anti-Windup PI 제어기만을 사용하고 감소 시에는 추가로 부하의 특성을 고려하여 braking 동작을 사용하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과는 속도 성능면에서 제안된 방식이 종래의 다른 제어 방식에 비해 우수함을 보여 준다.

  • This paper proposes a robust digital controller for PWM voltage source inverter using CRA method. The usual inverter controller for the operation of constant voltage and constant frequency consists of a double looped PI controller for the outer voltage controller and the inner current controller, of which the order of characteristic polynomial is high and so the gain tuning is difficult. Considering the limited switching frequency of the devices and sampling frequency of the digital controller, the gain tuning is usually based on the engineering experiences with the try and error method. In this paper, the error-space approach is used to get the system model including the controller with low order, and the characteristic ratio assignment (CRA) method is proposed for the design of robust controller which has the advantage to design the optimal gain to meet the referenced response and overshoot within the limit range. The PSiM simulation and experience results are shown to verify the validity of the proposed controller.

  • This paper deals with the development of three phase 440[V], 500[KVA] Inverter system using the IGBT Devices. IGBT's have been used very successfully in variable frequency induction motor drive equipment. Problems associated with power devices characteristics when power devices are operated in parallel, such as balanced switching behavior and thermal stability, can be solved by using NPT type IGBT's. By Experimental results, it is confirmed that the voltage overshoot and reverse recovery current was very low. The equipment had proved to be reliable and short circuit proof. In addition, the performances in term of thermal characteristics, protection functions and stability are satisfactory.
