We have fabricated organic white light emitting diodes by mixing two colors from very thin rubrene doped and non-doped DPVBi layers. The device structure was ITO/2-TNATA(15 nm)/${\alpha}$-NPD(35 nm)/DPVBi:rubrene(5 nm)/DPVBi(30 nm)/$Alq_{3}(5\;nm)$/BCP(5 nm)/LiF(0.5 nm)/Al(150 nm). The yellow-emitting rubrene of 0.7 wt % was doped into the blue-emitting DPVBi host for the white light. CIE coordinate of the device was (0.31, 0.33) at 8 V. The color coordinates were stable at wide ranges of driving voltages. The luminance was over $1,000\;cd/m^{2}$ at 8 V and increases to $14,500\;cd/m^{2}$ at 12 V. The maximum current efficiency of the device was 8.2 cd/A at $200\;cd/m^{2}$.

High Voltage High Current Pulsed Electric Fields (HVHC-PEF) is a promising technology for the non-thermal pasteurization of foods and a sound complement or replacement to traditional thermal pasteurization, which inactivates bacteria and other microorganisms harmful to humans, but also degrades color, flavor, texture and nutrients. Foods can be pasteurized with pulsed electric fields at ambient or refrigerated temperatures for a short treatment time of seconds or less and the fresh-like quality of food is preserved. Although successful in laboratory tests, applying HVHC-PEF to food pasteurization on a large scale presents many unresolved engineering problems. In this paper the design considerations for 25kV 1kA class HVHC-PEF pasteurization equipment are analyzed and experimental results are discussed.

Cubism has played a great role to change traditional concept of art and visual of people as developed into one of new art stlyes. It has avoided three dimensional perspectives and reformed the concept of time and space. It expresses objects with geometric shape by simplifying and reconstructing the objects after taking them apart. This has the effect of simultaneous vision and transparency and brings in collage by combining geometric image and visual elements. The results of the study as follows: First, the geometric shape expresses straight lines, curves, faces, and cubics by simplifying the objects. In fashion, it expresses circles, triangles, squares with a cloth. This shows visual changes as three dimensional space moves. Second, simultaneity disassembles and recontructs the objects. It tries to understand the internal shape with method of disassembling and makes visions coexist. In so doing, cubists adopt simultaneity for expressing shapes. In fashion, it expresses new items through disassembling or combining with other items. Third, transparency simplifies cubics by duplicating with transparent flats and crosses contour lines for reconstructing the simplified objects. This implies broader spatial order. It allows people to perceive penetration of layed clothes. Fourth, collage expresses geometric shape by adding visual elements(concrete image and color). It uses concrete image with paper, letters, cloth, etcs, which is not related to painting, and introduces various colors. In fashion, it uses dolls, postcards, feathers, metals, plastics, for patchwork.

Polarization imaging systems have been widely used to selectively characterize skin lesions. Nevertheless, current systems are used in single-mode due to the limitations of a fixed polarization mode and a single-working distance of light source, in which uniform light distribution is achieved on target area. To address such limitations, we developed a variable polarization imaging system based on multi-working distance of light source for various clinical diagnoses. In this study, we characterize the imaging system and present experiment results demonstrating its clinical usefulness. The imaging system consists of a CCD color camera, linear polarization filters, and a single-layered LED ring light source which provides uniform light distribution at multi-working distances. The first polarizer was placed on the light source and the second polarizer placed on objective lens provides continuous linear polarization angle from $0^{\circ}\;to\;90^{\circ}$. The clinical efficacy of the imaging system was investigated by acquiring and analyzing clinical images of skin wrinkle and dental plaque. With the experiments, we verified the potential usefulness of the imaging system for other clinical applications.

ceramic metal halide lamps are a subset of high intensity discharge lamps so named because of their high radiance These lamps weak ionized plasma in a fire-resisting but light transmissive wrapping by the corridor of current through atomic and molecular vapors. for commercial applications, For commercial applications, the conversion of electric power to light must occur with good efficiency and with sufficient spectral content throughout the visible (380-800 nm) to permit the light so generated to render colors comparable to natural sunlight. the purpose of this paper is to carry out a study on the variation of ageing time(2000 On/Off[hr]) on the performance of 150W CMH lamps. Experimental results show that the blackening by reacting W(tungsten)with I atomic has been created in the arc tube of an ageing lamp(2000 On/Off[hr]), the arc was unstable, and increased a lamp resistance made lamp voltage increases significantly. Also, Color temperature of the ageing lamp was moved by the losses of Ho with Dy atomics and by recombination of Na with I.

In order to occupy educational furniture market that grows by the day and to meet demands for alternative product for the current market, this study took business features and productivity of Sinil Furniture Co into consideration, and developed computer desk for education by group, which is new among educational furniture. The scope of the study ranges from data research based on design process into creation of prototype. By improving the condition where, despite that electrically-powered computer desk for anti-theft system is high priced, it sees frequent malfunction, the study suggested low-priced, non- electrically-powered anti-theft system which has more solid structure. Furthermore, in order for the user to be more free and comfortable while studying on it, it differentiates from other products by locating PC main body to the back of the monitor and lowering it below the altitude of monitor to prevent it from interfering with studies. We've made the higher board of the desk in a soft curved-shape in order to lessen the stress from studying. And as space for the monitor's lower mount was decreased, we've put the lower mount below the higher board; so that lacking space can be recovered while functioning as anti-theft system. Moreover, we've covered the PC main body with steel cover so that it would add color and formal luxuriousness to the appearance of the desk. Considering ease of mobility and productivity, knock-down system was introduced.

Major chemical components constituting the flavor and color of pepper powder were quantitatively determined in the fruits of 23 and 20 selections from 'Punggak' and 'Kalmi', respectively, and some other cultivars. Lines selected from 'Kalmi' contained higher amount of capsaicin, capsanthin, and sugar than those from 'Punggak'. 'Dabok', 'Subi', and 'Chilsung' which are known to be excellent in quality contained medium level of capsaicin and high level of sugar. PI201234, which is an introduced line for resistance to Phytophthora capsici, was high in capsaicin content but low in sugar content.

The purpose of this study was to identify a basic meaning of humor from the costume expressing cartoon image, to grasp the status of contemporary costume, and also to supply people with a database related to the sphere of costume design. This was done by analyzing and examining humor of the costume expressing cartoon image in post-industrial society. Consequently, the result of this study was summarized as follows; First, humor by parody of Pop Art is recognized as humorous expression that repulsed the main current culture and post-industrial society phenomenon. Second, humor by quotation tends to appear through cartoon character. Costume which quote cartoon character is against Kidult tastes and the pre-existing authoritative prejudices in post-industrial society. Third, humor by bricolage, making bricolage with silhouette, color, pattern item, is recognized as new creation of humor In other words, it is regarded as enlargement of new esthetic consciousness and humor about instrumented gender in post-industrial society. Lastly, humor by deformation expressed itself in deformation of body image of character and cloth silhouette by cartoon image. Deformation of cloth silhouette by cartoon image, being not conscious pre-existing concept of harmony of human and costume, is recognized as humor which have characteristic of play with introduction of new silhouette. In addition to, the result of this study showed that humor expressed in cartoon image of costume has been limited to the works of few designers because of characteristics of fashion designers who made use of popularity as subjects of the works and internal meanings which were related to the characteristics of post-industrial society.

Comparisons of measured turbulence properties in the unburned gas region of turbulent premixed flame stabilized by pilot flame, in cases of combusting and non-combusting flow conditions, are presented. Methane-air premixed jet at fuel equivalence ratio of 0.6 and 1.0 and Reynolds number of 7,000 was diagnosed using two-color laser velocimeter to obtain turbulence statistics. Same set of measurements was repeated at 21 locations within the unburned gas region of both combusting and non-combusting conditions. Velocity data were analyzed to evaluate the spatial distribution of turbulence properties including Reynolds stress, probability densities, joint probability densities and auto correlations. Contrary to assumptions of current theoretical models, significant influence of flame was observed in every property that was studied in the present investigation. The effective viscosity increased ten-fold when flame was on from cold flow values. The effect of mixing on joint probability as well as in turbulence intensity was suppressed by the flame. The measurements suggest that common assumptions of premixed flame model may result in sizable error in prediction of flame length and temperature distribution in near-field.

We proposed that the replicas be made as an alternative to achieve such reciprocal goals as the safe preservation of traditional costume relics and socio-educational realizations through exhibitions, etc., A replication was categorized for its purpose into a restoral replication: a work based on the historical research of color and shapes as they were originally made and a current state replication : a production based on a minute record of the relics as they are excavated. Then, we reported the reproduction process from the excavation to the exhibition on the excavated traditional costumes of Milchanggun's Jobok. The purpose of a replication of relics is to record the relics experiencing the change resulted from the inevitable degeneration over time as organic cultural assets together with the substitution exhibition of relics and academic researches and so on.
