A study of two phase chopper system with four separate groups of DC motors in powering. A novel two phase chopper system with four separate groups of DC motors which applies the principles of two phase chopper with two separate groups of DC motors is dealt with this article. The main circuit consists of eight sets of chopping parts, four diodes and four separate groups of DC motors. Four groups of DC motors are driven through the series and parallel connections to each other in accordance with the operating conditions of the choppers. Although the proposed chopper circuit requires more circuit elements than the conventional two phase chopper system with combined output or two phase chopper system with two separate groups of DC motors, it has the following advantages` (1). It is possible to drive twice as much motors as conventional system does, using esisting receiving-and equipments and motors. (2). It is possible to control load voltage continuously from 0 to source voltage by changing time-ratio from 0 to 1. (3). Load current division becomes equalized. Therefore it is possible to drive not only series motors but also shunt and separately exited motors. (4). When smoothing reactor L is small, harmonic components of the proposed circuit is not so large. Therefore, the value of L can be determined from viewpoints of allowable value of ripple-ratio and current unbalance factor.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of hygiene education for hotel chefs, in terms of the level of performance and importance of food hygiene inspections, as well as hygiene practices related to food cooking, storage, personal hygiene, and facility environment. We aim to identify what areas of education require priority improvement and derive implications. Methods: A survey on hygiene status, importance, and performance was conducted among 289 chefs working in six luxury hotels in Busan, South Korea. Frequency analysis and cross-analysis were conducted to evaluate the current status of hygiene education, while Borich Needs analysis was conducted to evaluate its importance and performance. The areas needing priority improvement were identified using the Locus-for-Focus model. Results: First, the most common frequency of hygiene education was once or twice a year. Participants who were older and with more years of experience were more likely to participate in annual training. Second, based on the degree of discrepancy between importance and performance and the results of Borich Needs analysis, the areas needing the highest priority were food inspection and hygiene. Third, according to the results of applying The Locus for focus model and visualizing it as a portfolio in a 2 ', 'Chopping boards and knives are frequently washed, sterilized and dried', 'Wash your hands with soap before starting cooking', 'Perform regular quarantine and disinfection to prevent pest invasion'. Conclusion: This study contributed to the understanding of the current status of hygiene education for chefs working in luxury hotels and confirmed the importance of hygiene management. Future research should aim to develop a more comprehensive hygiene education program by including participants from a more diverse pool of hotels and restaurants. This will significantly improve the hygiene management practices of chefs, thereby helping to prevent food hygiene-related accidents.
This paper compared a Modified C-dump converter and energy efficient converter topologies, derived from the conventional C-dump converter, for switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives. The proposed topologies overcome the limitations of the conventional C-dump converter, and could reduce the whole cost of the SRM drive. Also, the above converters have simple control requirements; and allow the motor phase current to freewheel during chopping mode. Specially, the voltage ratings of the dump capacitor and some of the switching devices in the proposed an Energy efficient C-dump converter is reduced to the supply voltage ($V_{dc}$) level compared to twice the supply voltage ($2V_{dc}$) in the conventional C-dump converter. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed converters are presented and verified.
Switched Reluctance Motor is simple structure which used Accel/Decel application field because of cheap cost and High efficiency. For driving this motor, it is essential to need position sensor and driving converter. so, many topology and sensor have been studied untill now. Asymmetric Bridge Converter which has been known for the best control and efficiency is used chopping to control current of motor coil according to changing of motor speed. But this is embossed as a fault because it come to bring switching loss due to rapid switching frequency. In this paper, I applied to Soft Switching Mode by Partial Resonant Method to compensate these fault and to show the usabilityness of low switching device.
In order to promote the application of switched reluctance machines (SRM) in electric vehicles (EVs), the braking torque closed-loop control of a SRM is proposed. A hysteresis current regulator with the soft chopping mode is employed to reduce the switching frequency and switching loss. A torque estimator is designed to estimate the braking torque online and to achieve braking torque feedback. A feed-forward plus saturation compensation torque regulator is designed to decrease the dynamic response time and to improve the steady-state accuracy of the braking torque. The turn-on and turn-off angles are optimized by a genetic algorithm (GA) to reduce the braking torque ripple and to improve the braking energy feedback efficiency. Finally, a simulation model and an experimental platform are built. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate the correctness of the proposed control strategy.
Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is suitable for electric vehicle (EV) applications with the advantages of simple structure, good overload capability, and inherent fault-tolerance performance. The SRM dynamic simulation model is built based on torque, voltage, and flux linkage equations. The EV model is built on the basis of the analysis of forces acting on a vehicle. The entire speed range of the SRM drive is then divided into constant torque and constant power areas. The command torque of the motor drive system is given according to the accelerator pedal coefficient and motor operation areas. A novel adaptive variable angle control is proposed to avoid the switching chattering between the current chopping control and angle position control modes in SRM drives for EV applications. Finally, simulation analysis and experimental results are conducted to verify the accuracy of the proposed simulation model and control strategy.
