The purpose of this study is to review Hanliu phenomenon, a kind of social and cultural phenomenon, in China and to analyze its effects on the fashion style of new young generation of China. In this study, Hanliu phenomenon means the enthusiasm of Asian people for Korean mass culture including Korean dramas, pop songs, and fashions from late 1990s. This research adopts two kinds of methods for analyzing the phenomenon: qualitative and quantitative research methods. As a qualitative research method, we analyzed it with several sources of documentaries and audio-visual materials: articles from newspapers and magazines, special TV reports, and documentary movie files from Internet. As a quantitative research method, we surveyed approximately 100 female students of Beijing university and asked how they feel Korean culture and fashions. The Hanliu phenomenon led to the popularity of Korean products as well as general culture of Korea. Also, it influenced Chinese young generation so much that Korean fashion has become prevailing. Such influence on the street fashion of Chinese youths can be summarized in three factors as follows: First, Korean entertainers' fashion is widely imitated. For example, H.O.T-like hairstyles, hip-hop styles, large heel shoes with boots-cut pants, and long-curled permanent hairstyles have been on among Chinese youths. Second, the preference for Korean fashion products has highly increased. The number of stores dealing with Korean fashion products has increased. Even the 'Kim Hee Seen,' a fashion brand named after a famous Korean actress, was introduced. Finally, Korean culture and products have widely been imitated in China as much as the increasing popularity of Korean fashion products. This study reveals that Hanliu phenomenon is widespread in China, and Chinese youths are largely affected by the fashion styles of Korean entertainers. Also, Korean fashion products are largely imitated and benchmarked in China. Hanliu phenomenon is a big chance to approach the fashion market of China, the largest buying power in the world. To make inroads into the Chinese fashion market, we suggest that we need to have our own brand and to make the most of culture, stars, and Internet in marketing. Also, we need a well-planned strategy for a success in the Chinese fashion market.

Focusing on China's profound historical/cultural heritage, as well as its favorable environment for the expansion of cultural and creative industries (CCIs), this paper considers the unique attributes of Chinese museum cultural and creative products (MCCPs) from the angle of cross-border development, and summarizes the main forms and effects of cross-border innovation in relation to Chinese MCCPs. It also examines the chief problems of Chinese MCCPs' cross-border growth at three levels - the national policy system, product development, and design and marketing - to explore countermeasures and suggestions for cross-border novelties and the advancement of products.
The rate of growth and production of bioactive substances from Rehmannia glutinosa Liboschitz (Scrophulariaceae) were studied with the variation on the constituents of the culture media. The best growth was observed from MS basal medium containing 3.0 ppm NAA and 2.0 ppm kinetin. Carbohydrates (fructose, glucose and sucrose), phytosterols(${\beta}-sitosterol$, campesterol and stigmasterol) and carotenoid like substances were identified by GC-MS and TLC from the callus mass. However, catalpol was not detected from both solid and cell suspension cultures containing geraniol. Callus cultured Rehmannia glutinosa in the MS basal medium containing 0.1 ppm NAA and 0.1 ppm kinetin become differentiated to root.

This study was performed to compare the performance of Sanita-Kun dry medium culture plate with those of traditional culture medium and Petrifilm dry medium culture plate for the enumeration of the mesophilic aerobic bacteria in milk, ice cream, ham, and codfish fillet. Mesophilic aerobic bacteria were comparatively evaluated in milk, ice cream, ham, and codfish fillet using Sanita-Kun aerobic count (SAC), Petrifilm aerobic count (PAC), and traditional plate count agar (PCA) media. According to the results, all methods showed high correlations of 0.989~1.000 and no significant differences were observed for enumerating the mesophilic aerobic bacteria in the tested food products. SAC method was easier to perform and count colonies efficiently as compared to the PCA and PAC methods. Therefore, we concluded that the SAC method offers an acceptable alternative to the PCA and PAC methods for counting the mesophilic aerobic bacteria in milk, ice cream, ham, and codfish fillet products.

Storytelling, a medium that arouses the customers' purchasing need by playing on their emotions, is the best content that can be used as it can increase the value of goods using information. This paper's significance is that it suggests cultural products that can be used by using Baeke relic Jinmyosu (Guard Animals) as a motif. The purpose was to present the possibility of high value-added cultural products using storytelling techniques. This study developed storytelling by adding the meaning of Jinmyo and Beoksa, who calm protected their masters from evil forces with horns and wings, and has the meaning of ascending into heaven and guiding the soul on the right path. That image gives a glimpse of originality and differentiation to Baekje. This study proposed 4 cultural products as 'Keeper Stone Mason' and 4 'Stone Mason Teller.' The proposed cultural products can help to give correct awareness of Baekje culture through a correct understanding of the historical significance of the Baeke relic, Jinmyosu. Moreover, it will help promote the originality and excellence of Baekje culture around the world by enhancing the value of Baekje culture. This study is expected to be used as a guideline for further research on developing cultural products that can create added value in various fields.
This study is to help maintain the identity of traditional Korean culture and develop fashion culture products by applying images and composition forms of traditional lattice patterns for vest designs. Lattice can be distinguished as a shape created through intersecting vertical and horizontal lines, in the form of oblique lines in vertical and horizontal structures, and in the form of an oblique line. Lattice patterns represent the overall unity and order as well as the beauty of small spaces created by simple lines. Traditional lattice patterns of the Joseon Dynasty were examined theoretically through the literature. Based on theoretical grounds, there is study illustrates vest designs using Adobe Illustrator CS6 as well as works on a 3D virtual costume using CLO Trial 4.2, a 3D virtual dressing system of CLO Virtual Fashion. This study developed an easy to wear vest design categorized as clothes for both men and women. The geometric formality of the lattice pattern has been applied to fashion culture products. In this study, the design was developed focusing on lattice, kotsal (flower pattern), sosulbitsal (diagonal), sotdaesal, tisal (horizontal & vertical). Local non-timber forest products can be easily accessed by tourists. These also provide opportunities for tourists to experience the local culture. Many local governments are paying constant attention to the development of non-timber forest product brands to revitalize the local economy and increase the profits of local farmers. Although there are many forest products and tourism resources in each region of Korea, there is no local specialized strategy to sell non-timber forest products and promote consumers' purchase intentions. In this study, we aimed to explore the consumers' perceived creating shared value (CSV) and its association with purchasing behavior of non-timber forest products in Jeongeup city, Korea. Data were collected from 1,066 consumers who had purchased non-timber forest products. Purchasing patterns of local specialty products differed depending on consumers' perceived CSV levels. In addition, consumers with higher levels of perceived CSV showed higher awareness and familiarity with Jeongeup city and experienced Jeongeup city's non-timber forest products. Our findings suggest that improving consumer perception towards CSV of non-timber forest products can be used as a marketing strategy for local non-timber forest products to revitalize the local economy.
This study concerns the demand for Korean textile products in the USA, Japan, EU from 1997 to 2000. The conclusion from this study is that demand for Korean textile products in the USA, Japan, and the EU will steadily decline through to the year 2000. And with this conclusions, in order to rejuvenate the textile industry, we have to consolidate the system of production and proceed with the rationalization of management departments in the industry and the reduction of costs and develop new products. Also, the global policy strategy of the textile industry should be strongly promoted on order to make the textile industry a strong industry in the 21 century.
