  • This study looks into the change of the concept of museum and the programs as well from sociocultural point of view Since the very beginning in history, the museum has been a place to educate people with diverse evidences regarding on the human history by preserving legacies of the past. Throughout the long history, the concept of museum and its programs have been revised in accordance with social changes. Consequently, these changes brought the transformation of museums' roles nowadays. The reason is the public in diverse society are so accustomed to stimulus and dynamic cultural changes has induced those change in some senses. The study points that the variation of museum programs are to be developed and museum marketing strategies including global management of art museums should seriously be considered. It also brings new form of museum architecture. The concept of revitalizing museum can expand the band of public and provide them opportunities a place for various cultural activities which can lead a new trend in this society.

The Effect of Korean Wave (Hallyu) on the Music Industry

  • Purpose: This study aims to respond to essential queries regarding significant impacts the Korean Wave had on the music business especially in light of K-pop's explosive growth on the international scene and how to transform Hallyu into the global dynamics of the music business. Also, the study investigates what degree of cultural bridging through Music's universal language has Kpop achieved beyond its status as a purely musical genre. Research design, data and methodology: For the process of data collecting, the current investigators used a combination of keywords and controlled vocabulary terms to conduct in-depth searches across reputable academic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Keywords are significant in searching databases such that the desired articles can be sought out wiith the keywords "Korean Wave," "Hallyu," and "music industry,". Results: The investigators found the globalization of K-pop, diverse audience engagement, digital transformation, and cultural exchange through Music as four critical effects of the Korean Wave on the music business. Conclusions: Lastly, this study concludes that As we end our investigation into Hallyu's effects on the music business, it is clear that Korean Music's cultural impact and international appeal have created new opportunities and particular difficulties for both professionals and artists.

  • 3D 그래픽스 환경에서 입체적인 물체가 2D 모니터에 보여지는 과정에는 여러 단계의 공간 변환과 행렬 계산을 거치게 된다. 이러한 공간 변환은 각 단계가 어떤 의미인지 쉽게 이해하기에 어려운 면이 있다. 본 논문에서는 유니티 3D 엔진에서 작동하는 셰이더를 통해 각 단계의 공간을 시각화 하여 학생들이 보다 쉽게 공간 변환을 이해하는 시각화 방법을 제시한다.

예술과 문화의 영역에 대한 재고 - 문화의 타자 키치, 아직도 예술의 적인가? (Policing the Border: Is Kitsch Still the Antagonist of Art?)

  • Despite continuous efforts to redraw the boundaries between art and culture, the conventional concept of originality has persisted in approaches to the practice of contemporary art. In the discourse of originality, various forms of lesser arts that employ the method of replication have been referred to as kitsch, or "rear-guard," the opposite of avant-garde. This categorization points to the contested issue regarding the oppositional relation between modernism and mass culture. With its easily accessible content and financial affordability, mass culture has become both an irresistible attraction and a most powerful threat to modernism. This threat has instigated a discursive system that has situated mass culture as a cultural other of modernism. Taking the marginalized category of kitsch as the area of contention, this paper examines a discursive repression of kitsch. It analyzes the conceptual framework that defends originality and autonomy in art and, conversely, degrades kitsch as an inferior and dangerous cultural category. Greenberg'S concept of kitsch as a by-product of industrialization evolved into the criticism that advocates the autonomy of art. The Frankfurt School scholars, particularly Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer, practiced comparable cultural critiques. Focusing on mass culture such as film, radio, and television, instead of art works, they critically analyzed the system of mass culture and theorized the negative implications of the ubiquitous presence of kitsch. Some critics, on the other hand, perceived the growth of mass culture as opening possibilities in cultural development. Walter Benjamin and Harold Rosenberg asserted the socio-cultural dynamics of mass culture underlining the potential for continual transformation in reality and in the subject. They acknowledged that technological advances changed the condition of creation and enabled unmediated interactions between media. By scrutinizing conflicting views on kitsch, this paper intends to reassess arts that draw "the forces of the outside."

Target Transformation Factor Analysis에 의한 겹침 X-선 형광 스펙트라의 정량적 해석 (A Quantitative Interpretation of the Overlapped X-Ray Fluorescence Spectra by Target Transformation Factor Analysis)

  • 겹쳐 나타나는 X-선 형광 스펙트라에서 얻은 다변수 데이타를 해석하기 위하여 다변수분석법인 인자분석법을 적용하였다. Pb와 As의 피크가 겹쳐 있는 11개 표준시료의 X-선 형광 스펙트라를 파장분산형기기로 $33.50∼34.50^{\circ}$에서 측정하였다. 8개 시료의 피크세기로 데이타 매트릭스를 구성하고 AFA(Abstract Factor Analysis)를 수행하였다. 그 결과 인자의 수가 3으로 나타났으며 표준시료에 함유된 8개 원소를 타겟트 테스트한 결과 Pb, As 및 Cu로 판명되었다. 농도 기지인 시험시료에서 상기 원소들의 농도를 피크의 겹침에 무관하게 TTFA(Target Transformation Factor Analysis)에 의해 결정하였다.

  • 본 연구는 심양성의 도시평면에 대한 형태학적 분석을 토대로 심양 도성형태의 형성 변화과정에서 표출되는 형태적 특성을 도출하는 한편, 이를 정치 사회 문화적 여건변화와 문화적 상호작용 측면에서 해석해보고자 하는데 목적이었다. 이를 위해 심양의 도시구조를 시계열 적으로 고찰하고, 이를 표현할 수 있는 지도정보와 도면정보를 GIS DB로 구축하여 시계열별로 중첩비교하여 역사적인 관점에서 해석해보고자 하는 것이다. 연구를 통해 도출된 심양의 도시 형태적 특성은 첫째 개방적인 도성구조에서 폐쇄적인 도성구조로의 변화과정, 둘째 횡축기반의 수평적 공간구조의 종축기반의 수직적 공간구조의 결합, 셋째 실용적인 도성 구조로부터 축과 중심성에 기초한 상징적인 도성구조로의 변화, 넷째, 자연에 순응한 도성구조로부터 중국고대도성제에 기초한 도성구조로의 변화, 다섯째 만족 고유의 문화적 전통의 보존 등의 다섯 가지 측면으로 파악되었다.

Re-Engineering of Educational Contexts in the Digital Transformation of Socio-Economic Interactions of Society

  • The article examines the key constants of reengineering the modern educational cluster, associated with the processes of digital transformation of all spheres of modern socio-cultural space. The first constant is the strategic rethinking of the educational process organization and awareness of the new roles of all participants (tutors, applicants, controlling elements, etc.). The other constant involves practical re-design of the system of educational services, which consists in the reorientation from the traditional model of education functioning for society to the implementation of the educational format in the form of new projects (structural, target, business). Consequently, the purpose of the study is to highlight the attitudes relevant to the modern realities of information and technological support of education in the context of socio-economic interactions of society. The criteria for the reengineering of educational concepts and the structural organization of the educational sphere are defined. The modern world is going through a period of complete digital transformation of all spheres of public activity. The scientific intelligence notes that education is no exception in these processes, as the dependence of educational realities on information and computer technologies is now noted. The COVID-19 pandemic, for all its tragedy, was also a kind of trigger, clearly marking the new components that have become defined in the organization of the educational process. The conclusion is made that the use of digital technologies in the organization of the educational institution or in the organization of the educational process has become not an auxiliary element, but a dominant factor. Mobility, dynamism, interdisciplinarity, synergy - all these aspects are relevant for socio-economic interactions of society and should be provided by educational programs. The results of the study can be used in the reorganization processes of educational institutions and institutions. Further research requires aspects of the analysis of the foreign experience of reengineering in education, carried out taking into account digital transformations of modern sociocultural space.

리빙 씨어터: 탄생과 소멸에 관한 사적(史的) 연구 (The Living Theatre: A History Study of Its Birth and Death)

  • Concentrating on the birth, life, and death of the Living Theatre, almost half a century avant-garde group, the primary purpose of this study at large is to explore its counter-cultural philosophy. While taking a chronological form adapting the biological order, the paper focuses on the troupe's productions: , , , , and . Through out these productions the philosophy of the Living Theatre seemed to included communal, anti-intellectual, politically radical, generally Utopian, and proselytizers for sexual freedom. The history of the Living Theatre interestingly parallels the history of the Beck's theatre in occupation and shut down. The first New York theatre was closed by fire inspectors for instance. The second theatre was declared unsafe, and locked up by the Building Department. The third theatre was seized by the IRS, consequently shut down. In 1984, after more than 25years from the third building, the Living Theatre settled once again on East Third Street in Manhattan. The theatre was however evacuated by the New York City Fire Department in 1993 and once more took to the road. With these struggles, the Becks' profound aspiration of the counter-cultural insurgency came to harden as strong as 'iron' in some ways. With the outstanding components of counter-cultural philosophy and style, the Living Theatre, in the course of the transformation, absorbed and then reflected virtually every phase for the Living Theatre were vehicles for more than just aesthetics. The group seemed to propagandize its beliefs rather performing productions. Accordingly, both on and off-stage action of the Living Theatre caused great controversy either through political activism of individual members or through the unconventional collective life style. No avant-garde theatre company was more emblematic of the rebellious spirit of the sixties than the Living Theatre. Like the first great transformation, the Becks' encounter, their personal values and the form of theatre they created had blended 'so inextricably that the vitality of each was dependent on the other.' The Becks always urged unity and harmony at all levels of human life, but not at any price. The anticapitalist ideal inspired the Becks to promote a politically motivated campaign throughout their productions. They believed the revolution is desirable but in the state of non-violence and the expansion of human consciousness. Julian Beck's gravestone identifies his as pet, painter, actor, and anarchist. The Living Theatre was a 'small umbrella' under which the Becks and its members could breath and unfold their dream on stage or in the street.

재미 일본인 여류작가의 경계 허물기 : 리디아 미나토야의 『설중 고승여담』과 『미의 기묘함』 (A Japanese American Female Writer's Tearing Down the Barriers: Lydia Minatoya's Talking to High Monks in the Snow and The Strangeness of Beauty.)

  • By taking the form of a fictional autobiography, a Japanese American woman writer Lydia Minatoya tries to solve the inexpressible confliction which Japanese Americans experience in their living in America. In her first published fiction, Talking to High Monks in the Snow, the writer faithfully tries to follow the Japanese I-story tradition where meandering of personal petit histories and frequent self-pities are constructed without solid action, characters and plot. Here appear many accidental others whom function as significant yet fleeting subalterns. In contrast, in the second fiction, The Strangeness of Beauty published seven years later, the I-narratives undergoes some drastic transformations by authorial intrusion, dramatic and haiku styles, and appearances of actorial agents. Just working as an invisible yet important stagehand (kuroko in Japanese) behind the stage of life, the author now handles her own self-inquiry through more controllable distance and maturity as directors or photographers often do. However, despite achieving dramatic actions and artistic elegance mainly thanks to her adoption of western masterpieces's grand narratives, Minatoya seems to stop in the midway in her tallying work of fiction with fact by delaying the larger imaginable conflict through which the temporarily gained autonomy can be turned into a disaster anytime. Nonetheless, the reader feels relieved and encouraged after recognizing the fragile Asian female self's transformation as a new, flexible and autonomous self by her unwavering contact with two contrasting cultures and providing silent minority female characters with gradually stronger and uncannier voices.

산업항만지역의 재생을 통한 워터프론트 문화도시 통합계획 (Integrated Waterfront Cultural Planning through Regeneration of Former Industrial Harborfront)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구에서는 산업항구도시의 재도약을 위한 도시경제기능과 다양한 도시활동을 추구하기 위한 지역역사 기반의 생활문화공간 조성 측면에서 항구도시의 특성을 살린 워터프론트 통합계획방안을 제안하고자 한다. 연구방법: 요코하마의 성장과정과 개발배경을 살펴보고 MM21의 개발정책 및 전략 체계를 기초로 하여 MM21의 워터프론트 및 역사문화공간 계획특성을 분석한다. 연구결과: MM21은 도쿄의 확장으로 위성도시의 위기에 처한 요코하마가 추진한 6대 사업 중 핵심이 되는 공공프로젝트로, 도시자립성 강화, 항만기능의 질적 전환, 수도권의 업무기능 분담을 목표로 하여 항구도시, 창조문화도시, 녹색수변도시, 정보도시 건설을 위해 워터프론트 통합도시개발을 계획하였다. 결론: MM21 분석을 통해 도출된 항구도시의 특성을 살린 워터프론트 문화도시 계획방안은 워터프론트 중심의 토지이용계획과 내륙지역과의 통합계획, 항구도시로 성장한 도시조직을 최대한 보존하고 워터프론트 도시로 전환할 수 있는 구역계획 구축, 조망점을 통해 바다와 항만을 향한 도시경관 제공, 항만과 바다를 향한 워터프론트 오픈스페이스와 에스플라나드 경관조성, 역사적 건축물과 문화자산 보존 및 문화예술공간으로 재활용, 공공문화예술과 보행네트워크를 연계한 워터프론트 공간계획 등이다.
