구글어스 기반의 전자문화지도 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Electronic Culture Atlas Based on Google Earth)

  • 지속적인 정보기술의 발전은 사회를 성장시킴과 동시에 사용자에게 더 많은 정보와 요구사항을 발생시킨다. 이에 따라 최근 디지털 융합 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 학문 분야에서의 디지털 융합은 새로운 학문으로서 다양한 방안으로 활용될 수 있다. 전자문화지도는 문화정보를 디지털화하여 특정 지역의 지도위에 나타내는 것이다. 세부적으로 점, 선, 면의 공간속성을 활용해 데이터를 나타낼 수 있으며 시간, 공간(지도), 주제(문화) 세 가지 값이 연계된 정보로 활용이 가능하다. 즉, 전자문화지도는 인문 지역 연구를 위한 방법으로 활용될 수 있으며 결과물을 전자문화지도를 통해 전시함으로써 연구결과를 확산시킬 수 있다. 기존의 전자문화지도는 평면 비트맵(bitmap)지도이미지 활용에 대한 연구가 대부분이며 이는 특정지역에 대한 입체적인 정보제공이 어렵고 지도 확대 시 이미지 깨짐현상과 같은 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점 해결을 위해 구글에서 제공하는 입체 지도 서비스인 구글어스를 활용해 지역연구를 위한 전자문화지도를 설계 및 구현한다.

2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등수학교과서의 STEAM 요소 분석: 3~4학년군을 중심으로 (An Analysis of STEAM Elements included in the Elementary School Mathematics Textbooks Revised on 2009 - Focusing on the 3rd and 4th Grade Group -)

  • 본 연구에서는 2009 개정 초등수학 3~4학년군 교과서에 포함된 STEAM 요소를 학년별, 내용 영역별로 분석하여 어떤 요소가 어떻게 분포되어 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 결과 STEAM 요소의 학년별 분포는 4학년 1학기 184개(27.7%), 3학년 2학기 164개(24.8%), 3학년 1학기 162개(24.4%), 4학년 2학기 153개(23.1%)의 순으로 나타났고, 3학년과 4학년의 차이는 거의 없다고 볼 수 있다. 내용 영역별 분포는 STEAM 요소가 내용 영역의 분포 비율과 비슷하게 분포되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 STEAM 요소별로는 편차가 심하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 예술(A) 요소가 448개(67.6%)로 가장 많았는데, 표현예술이 344개(51.9%)로 문화예술의 104개(15.7%)보다 3배 정도 많았다. 표현예술이 약 절반을 차지하고 있는 것은 하위요소로 수학 교과서에 만화, 글쓰기, 이야기 만들기 등의 의사소통 요소가 많이 포함된 것이 주된 이유라고 볼 수 있다. 다음으로 기술공학(T-E) 요소가 160개(24.1%) 포함되었고, 과학(S) 요소가 55개(8.3%)가 포함되어 있었다. 다음 교육과정의 교과서 개발 시 상대적으로 적은 과학 요소도 보다 적극적으로 융합하려는 노력을 기울일 필요가 있다.

인터넷 티켓팅 시스템의 사용과 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Use and Satisfaction of Internet Ticketing Systems)

  • With the development of information technology (IT), various information systems (IS) such as Web-based systems and mobile systems have appeared utilizing different technologies. However, recent studies on IS use and user satisfaction rarely account for technological differences among IS and environmental characteristics where IS are intended to be used. The purpose of this research is to investigate the determinants of the use of Web-based ticketing systems for cultural activities and to empirically validate their relationships. Environmental psychology suggests that human beings respond to external stimuli from environments with their emotions, and their emotional states influence human actions, e.g., IS use in this research. Applying environmental psychology to the use of Web-based systems in the culture and entertainment industry, we propose that web site characteristics first influence a user's internal state of mind (i.e., flow) and then the flow state influences the IS use. Studies related to the state of flow collectively affirm the key role played by the flow construct in shaping individual attitudes and behaviors toward IS. Users' flow states are captured by their shopping enjoyment, perceived behavioral control, and the level of concentration on the IS use. Referring to social presence theory, we have included such web site characteristics as content quality, context of web site, and community quality. In our research model, a second order construct is utilized to represent web site quality, because flow theory suggests that holistic experiences with web-based systems (rather than individual characteristics of the web site) are important in explaining the IS use. Further, we have included trust as another important factor influencing the IS use since business transactions on the web encompass higher uncertainty comparing to offline transactions. In order to test our hypotheses, we have conducted an online survey which results in 1,141 valid responses in the final sample. The data were collected from respondents who have experiences in Internet ticketing systems. Although it was a convenient sample, the sample represents a wide variety of user demographics. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. The results indicate that web site characteristics significantly influence the level of user concentration, user's enjoyment in shopping, and perceived behavioral control. Further, the use of Internet ticketing systems is influenced by users' flow states and trust in the web channel. User satisfaction is turned out to be affected by the use of Internet ticketing systems. Unlike extant research on the relationship between web site characteristics and its use, our study has found that, in the culture and entertainment industry, the impact of web site characteristics on IS use is mediated by a user's flow state. This finding has a practical implication that web site design should include as many features that enhance shopping enjoyment and concentration. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

전통원림에 도입된 매화(Prunus mume)의 이용과 배식 특성 (Features in Using and Planting of Japanese Apricot(Prunus mume) Adopted to Traditional Gardens)

  • 본 연구는 전통원림에 도입된 수종 중에서 특별한 상징성으로 높은 위치를 점하였던 매화의 이용 특성에 대하여 조경적 관점에서 고찰하였다. 매화가 전통원림에 도입되었던 구체적 양상은 다음의 결과와 같다. 첫째, 현대조경에 비해서 전통적 매화의 이용 방식은 탐매(探梅)정매(庭梅) 분매(盆梅) 병매(甁梅) 조매(造梅) 묵매(墨梅)의 여섯 가지 유형으로 다양하였다. 둘째, 정원에 심겨지는 매화[庭梅]가 사랑채를 중심으로 한 전정에 주로 식재된 것은 매화의 상징성과 관상 가치가 선비가 지향하는 바와 어울렸기 때문이다. 당시 선호되었던 정매의 식재지는 건물 남쪽 사랑마당 창문 앞 담장 옆 물가의 경우로 정리할 수 있다. 셋째, 전통원림에서 매화는 단식(單植) 대식(對植) 군식(群植) 열식(列植) 혼식(混植)되었다. 단식이 가장 보편적인 매화의 배식 기법이었으며, 대식은 공간의 정연함과 상징성을 고양하려는 의도가 담겨있다. 시선이 트인 곳에서 감상하는 매화의 식재 양상은 군식이 일반적이었으며, 특별한 상징성이 있는 수종과는 혼식되기도 하였다. 본 연구는 매화의 문화적 측면에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 대표적 전통수종인 매화를 조명함으로써 전통 배식 기법의 일단을 파악할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였다. 연구 결과는 매화가 새롭게 이해되어야 함을 인식하게 하고, 추후 전통적 방식으로 매화를 식재하고 이용할 수 있는 유용한 정보가 될 것이다.

중국의 재난위험 정보유통에 관한 사례 연구 (Case Study on the Distribution of Disaster Risk Information in China)

  • Purpose - This article aims to explore the characteristics of disaster risk distribution information in China. Also, this research attempts to analyze the findings of risk communication using case study in chronological order in terms of social amplification of risk. To achieve the purpose, the paper reviews the trends and issues of risk communication in China, with an emphasis on examining earthquakes by a chronological approach. In these regards, we hope that some relevant findings from this empirical study with cases will be able to enhance national risk communication and provide implications in Korea as well. Research design, data, and methodology - The conceptual framework of this study is theoretically based on the risk amplification model, which describes signals about risk transmitted and processed by individuals and social groups. The social amplification of risk also reflects the interactions of social groups about disaster-related risk issues, which are potential amplifiers or attenuators of communication signals. The key concept of social amplification implies that the risks pertaining to natural disasters interact with social, psychological, institutional, and cultural processes in ways that can affect public perceptions of risk. SMCRE Model is methodologically employed to examine risk communication history of China with the focus on natural disaster. Four earthquakes are selected to figure out the chronological characteristics of risk communication since 1970s. He bei Tang Shan earthquake is selected as an example disaster before 1990's, while the earthquake in Yun Nan Jiang is explored for the case study of 1990's. The earthquake in Si Chuan Wen Chuan is also examined as a example disaster of 2000's. The recent earthquake in Si Chuan Ya An Lu Shan is selected as a case of 2010s. Results - SMCRE model in this case study is operationally defined as a methodology and applied to the four earthquakes occurred in China. SMCRE model describes the exchange of risk information and is also applied to all forms of communication between stake holders. Each factor of risk communication includes source, message, channel, receiver and effect. It is notable that a big progress has been made on disaster risk communication in China for the past 40 years. We also found that highly developed information technology has enabled Chinese society to better cope with natural disaster, leading to enhanced disaster risk communication. It is mainly found from case study that the disaster risk communication of China has been involved with political situation, which derived from the change of government for the past 40 years. Conclusion - From this historical research, it can be inferred that the policies and politics of Chinese leaders have had a more critical role to play in the process of source of risk communication than those of any other countries. The results of this paper also support that the effective risk communication involves not only the improved reliability of local government as a key factor of disaster risk communication, but also is accompanied by international cooperation for substantial collaboration with stake holders.

Deriving Topics for Safety of Folk Villages Following Scope and Content of ICT-Based DPD

  • This paper presents a novel concept of Disaster Prevention Design (DPD) and its derived subjects and topics for the safety of folk villages in both Korea and Japan. Nowadays, design concepts are focused on 'human-oriented nature' as a whole and this tendency fits to be appropriate for disaster prevention against real dangers of a future society, which is expected to have far more complicated features. On the other hand, convergences have performed with other areas in the field of Information Communication Technology (ICT) so that we can easily find examples like 'the strategy of ICT-based convergence' of the Korean Government in 2014. Modern content designs including UI (user interface) and USN (ubiquitous sensor network) have been developed as one of the representative areas of ICT & UD (universal design) convergences. These days this novel concept of convergence is overcoming the existing limitations of the conventional design concept focused on product and/or service. First of all, from that point our deduced topic or subject would naturally be a monitoring system design of constructional structures in folk villages for safety. We offer an integrated model of maintenance and a management-monitoring scheme. Another important point of view in the research is a safety sign or sign system installed in folk villages or traditional towns and their standardization. We would draw up and submit a plan that aims to upgrade signs and sign systems applied to folk villages in Korea and Japan. According to our investigations, floods in Korea and earthquakes in Japan are the most harmful disasters of folk villages. Therefore, focusing on floods in the area of traditional towns in Korea would be natural. We present a water-level expectation model using deep learning simulation. We also apply this method to the area of 'Andong Hahoe' village which has been registered with the World Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Folk village sites include 'Asan Oeam', 'Andong Hahoe' and 'Chonju Hanok' villages in Korea and 'Beppu Onsen' village in Japan. Traditional Streets and Markets and Safe Schools and Parks are also chosen as nearby test-beds for DPD based on ICT. Our final goal of the research is to propose and realize an integrated disaster prevention and/or safety system based on big data for both Korea and Japan.

'융·복합'과 디드로의 철학 - 『자연해석론』을 중심으로 - (Interdisciplinary and philosophy of Diderot Considered through De l'interprétation de la nature)

  • Recently, because of the danger and damages that following the steady development of scientific technologies, natural science is faced with many humane and ethical problems. So it is asserted the interdisciplinary with social and human science. However, it comes commonly that the ethical issues such as world view and one's view of life caused the development of sociology, especially development of the market economy. But in many cases, the interdisciplinary can be useful for widen the view of scholars. The interdisciplinary is actually connected with the problems of philosophy, and located in that domain. In this case, this is noticed as a model to the philosophers in 18th century, especially Denis Diderot. Diderot published De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature during editing the Encyclopedia, from there he picked out the contents from piles of documents of Encyclopedia. Even though the contents or opinions of De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature are inaccuracy or erroneous, it shows that how human-social science and natural science encountered. Diderot studied mathematics and then Diderot accepted to the natural science proposal, he approaches philosophy with translate English books to the French. Next he understood natural science by reading Buffon and Maupertuis, and during working for Encyclopedia, he possessed his knowledge that he can claim his opinion to other scholars. However in this De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature, Diderot who sometimes rebutted other scholars' theory and demonstration, tried to build a philosophy on metaphysics in order to it was important for himself that he imposed the methods of science and importance of experience. Anyhow, this De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature cause consider the recognition of Diderot in the field of natural science, and is suggested as a model about his Nature. This mean that it is an expression of his philosophy, and the content is found from natural philosophy and empirical philosophy. Like giving these attache the importance of method study for science and technique, these are targeted the promotion of popularization of natural-science and scientific-technology. Also it advocates fulfilling from reasonable philosophy to empirical philosophy. Therefore, the philosophy which was speculative and abstracted became his philosophy which was writing the meaning, as waiting the discovery of science. And at that time, the humanities made interdisciplinary with natural science.

상호매체성의 이론과 그 적용 - 피터 그리너웨이의 <프로스페로의 서재>를 중심으로 (A Theory of Intermediality and its Application in Peter Greenaway's )

  • The cinema of Peter Greenaway has consistently engaged questions of the relationship between the arts and particularly the relations of image and writing to cinema. When different types of images are correlated and merged with each other on the borders of painting, photography, film, video and computer animation, the interrelationships of the distinct elements cause a shift in the notion of the whole image. This analysis proposes to articulate the complex relationship between the 'interartial' dimension and the 'intermedial' dimension in Peter Greenaway's film, (1991). If the interartiality is interested in the interaction between various arts, including the transition from one to another, the intermediality articulates the same type of relationship between two or more media. The interactional relationship is the same on both sides; on the contrary, the relationship between art and media does not show the same symmetry. All art is based on one or more media - the media is a condition existence of art - but no art can't be reduced to the status of media. This suggests that if the interartiality always involves the intermediality, this proposal may not be reversed. First, we analyse a self-conscious investigation into digital art and technology. Prosospero's Books can be read as a daring visual essay that self-consciously investigates the technical and philosophical functions of letters, books, images, animated paintings, digital arts, and the other magical illusions, which have been modern or will be post-modern media to represent the world. Greenaway uses both conventional film techniques and the resources of high-definition television to layer image upon image, superimposing a second or third frame within his frame. Greenaway uses the frame-within-frame as the cinematic equivalent of Shakespeare's paly-within-play : it offer him the possibility to analyse the work of art/artist/spectator relationship. Secondly, we analyse the relationship between the written word, oral word and the books. Like the written word, the oral word changes into a visual image: The linguistic richness and nuances of Shakeaspeare's characters turn into the powerful and authoritative, but monotone, voices of Gielgud-Prospero, who speaks the Shakespearean lines aloud, shaping the characters so powerfully through his worlds that they are conjured before us. Specially each book is placed over the frame of the play's action, only partially covering the image, so that it gives virtually every frame at least two space-time orientations. Thirdly, we try to show how Peter Greenaway uses pictorial references in order to illustrate the context of the Renaissance as well as pictorial techniques and language in order to question the nature of artistic representation. For exemple, The storm is visualised through reference to Botticelli's : the storm of papers swirling around the library is constructed to look like a facsimili copy of Michelangelo's Laurentiana Library in Florence. Greenaway's modern mannerism consists in imposing his own aesthetic vision and his questioning of art beyond the play's meta-theatricality: in other words, Shakespeare''s text has been adapted without being betrayed.

ICT와 미래창조경제의 나아갈 방향 (Expected Role of ICT for Creative Economy)

  • 글로벌 경제의 성장 패러다임이 창조경제 체제로 변화하고 있다. 이러한 변화가 가져올 결과를 제대로 이해하기 위해서 나아가 바람직한 미래의 창조경제를 위해서, 그리고 ICT의 역할은 무엇인지에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 창조경제는 경제성장론에 바탕을 두고 있다. 신경제 체제에서 ICT 부문에 대한 투자를 통해 인플레이션 없는 지속적 성장 또는 주어진 인플레이션 하에서 보다 높은 수준의 지속 가능한 성장을 달성할 수 있게 된다. 그러나 미국에서와 달리 국내에서는 신경제 현상이 유의하게 나타나지 않았다. 신경제보다는 요소투입에 의존하는 성장 패턴을 보였기 때문이다. ICT는 신경제(디지털 경제)로의 이행을 위한 필수적 요소이긴 하나 그 자체로 생산성 및 성장을 전부 설명하는 것은 아니라고 평가된다. 관건은 어떻게 정보통신 및 기술발전을 타 산업에 확산시키는지의 여부에 달려 있다. ICT는 그 자체가 창조산업이거나 창조경제가 아니라 enabler로서 제대로 역할을 할 수 있어야 한다. 창조경제는 신경제론의 연장선에 볼 수도 있다. 자본과 노동력 요소 투자 이외에 문화적 자산과 인적 자원(Human resource)을 투여하여 가치를 생산해 내는 경제를 의미한다. 그러나 투입요소의 변화에 국한되면, 진정한 의미의 창조경제를 기대하기 어렵다. 그러한 의미에서 창조경제는 정권 5년 정책이슈가 아니라 미래지향적이어야 하며 단순히 투입요소에 창의력이 추가되는 차원을 넘어 through-put이라고 할 시스템의 변화가 수반되어야 한다. 여기에 ICT의 역할이 있다.

문화콘텐츠 정책평가와 개선방안에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Paradigm Change of Policy Making in the field of Korean Content Industry)

  • 콘텐츠정책에 대한 총체적 진단을 통해 현 단계 기존 정책 성취와 한계, 문제점을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 콘텐츠정책 분석의 틀을 정책목적과 국정철학, 정책방향(기조), 정책수단(내용, 집행방법, 대상), 추진체계(행정, 예산, 법제), 정치성 등 항목별 구성으로 고안하였다. 평가 결과 기존 콘텐츠 정책패러다임은 <진흥>중에서도 초기 태동산업 생산 물량을 늘리기 위한 부분적인 진흥에 매달려 왔다는 분석이다. 새로운 콘텐츠산업 정책은 필연적으로 객관적 여건과 주관적 조건에 따라 바뀌게 마련이라는 진단도 제시하였다. 우선 객관적 여건은 정책을 에워싼 환경 요인이고 주관적 조건은 국정철학, 정책의지, 신념, 가치판단 등이 들어오는 요소들이다. 이러한 분석 결과 새로 구상하고 기획해야할 미래 콘텐츠정책은 <운용(management)>이라는 새 이름표로 제시하고자 한다. 미래정책모형인 <운용 : 자생 성장산업 후원, 활용 독려>에 따라 구체적인 콘텐츠정책 개선방안을 실행할 수 있다. 이러한 변화와 혁신을 위해서는 우리정부 내에서 만연하고 있는 경제만능논리와 우리문화를 낮추어 보는 마인드를 넘어서야 한다는 지적이다. 크게 보아 운용을 중심 가치로 두는 현장 진흥으로 나아가야 한다는 전략이다. 현장에서 정책 주체가 직접 경영도 감행하는 운용 중심 진흥 정책은 시도와 실행만으로도 창의 인재를 모이게 하고 활력과 문화 풍류가 넘치는 멋진 정책 모델로 커나갈 수 있다. 창조경제 노력도 이러한 현장 정책 노력을 수반해야만 성과를 거둘 수 있다.
