해외자회사 환경요인이 국제기술이전 및 혁신성과에 미치는 영향 : S-C-P 패러다임 관점에서 (The Influence of External Environmental Factors on Technology Transfer between Foreign MNCs and Local Subsidiaries: Based on SCP Paradigm)

  • Technology transfer from a multinational company to a local subsidiary is essential for successful local market operations. This study aims to analyze the impact of market, cultural and institutional environmental factors on international technology transfer and innovation performance based on the S-C-P paradigm. We collected data from one hundred ninety-five subsidiaries of Korean parent firms located in seventeen countries and used structural equation modeling to test hypotheses. The analysis findings are as follow; First, both market and cultural environment directly affect international technology transfer. However, institutional environment such as protection of intellectual property does not affect international technology transfer. Due to the less risk of technology disclosure involved in technology transfer within the MNE organization can be not relationship between protection of intellectual property in the host country and the foreign subsidiary's transfer of technology. The risk of infringement of intellectual property is relatively low in intra-firm transfer of technology. Second, the technology introduced from the parent company has a positive effect on the innovation performance of local subsidiaries. This implies that multinational companies that have entered unfamiliar overseas markets should be able to effectively transfer the inherent advantages of the parent company to their overseas subsidiaries, and that their ability to adapt to the local environment is important.

  • This study is focused on looking into the essence and application in the modem history of 'Martial Art Culture' that is a representative cultural code in the East Asia. Doubting and reconstructing the paradigm of the past and present, Postmodernism in the 21st century has defined marital arts as a new cultural phenomenon. This study begins by doubting whether the essence of martial arts was a cultural conduct to train both bodies and spirits. Practically used as a fighting skill since the primitive age, martial arts has fallen into sports or cultural behaviors due to the invention of the state-of-the-art modern weapons. However modern people misunderstand that martial arts of East Asia is originated a kind of cultural behaviors. It implies there is a fundamental mistake in the wat Western civilization evaluates the orientalism. This study analyzes this mistake through access method based on realities of modern history. This trial will contribute to expanding the thinking range, inquiring into varied cultural phenomena including martial arts which are misunderstood in modern history.

  • The townscapes of “Bu” and “Mok” in the Yi Dynasty, Showing the typical landscape characteristics of Korean pre-industrial city, were influenced by the two major socio - cultural norms, One of Which is the “Pung - su theory” a traditional religious system on human settlements, the other is the “Churyegogong system” ; a principle of the traditional oriental city planning. The former exerted main influencs on the location of towns, its external Boundaries of domain and its direction, by natural topographic features in macro perspective, and the latter on the inner parts of townscapes, i. e., the landscape system of ‘center’, ‘boundary’, ‘direction’, and ‘domain’, as representations of administrative and Socio-cultural structures of that era, in micro perspective compared with the former. The systems of Korean old townscapes can be summurized as followhg brief paradigm, with general and .case studies. And the constituents of the paradigm, such as center, boundary, direction and domain, are inferred to reinforce the “sense of place” in townscapes, with their ‘physical appearence’, ‘meaning’, and ‘social activities’.

  • Consumer behavior is driven by culture; and culture is contextual. Therefore, human behaviors such as those exhibited in consumption behavior should not be measured and compared cross-culturally by using cultural specific mea-sures or paradigms which assume a universal reality, time and context free. Since it is known that consumption behavior is influenced by culture, and cultures in the United States differ from those in Korea, the assumption of universal ‘truths’ which can be known is inappropriate. To employ a paradigm with invalid assumptions automatically leads to the lack of validity, a must for truth claims in the positivist paradigm. Thus, 'truths' in the research reported must be suspect.

  • 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 인간 경험의 패러다임은 '문화 인터페이스'에서 '문화 소프트웨어'로 옮겨가고 있다. 디지털 게임에서 이러한 패러다임이 변화는 모드를 통해 나타난다. 지금까지 디지털 게임의 플레이는 게임이 제시하는 '목표'를 달성하기 위한 과정에서의 몰입적 에이전시를 중시했다. 반면 모드를 통해 사용자는 게임이 제시하는 목표보다는 사용자 스스로 게임 세계 안에서 '문제'를 만들어내고 그것을 해결해나가는 과정에서의 생성적 에이전시가 중시된다. 모드를 통해 원작 게임은 하나의 경험해야 할 작품이 아니라, 변형하고 하고 새로운 콘텐츠를 생성할 수 있는 질료로서 데이터가 된다. 사용자의 모드를 통한 이러한 게임 콘텐츠의 변형과 생성은 게임의 지속가능한 모델을 제시한다.

  • In the 21st century, modern society is rapidly changing paradigm of environment with advancement of advanced technology and improving income levels. Such a paradigm reflected in modern design and emerged as a new spatial aspect through various cultural and artistic expressions, thus becoming a crucial role in commercial space. Reflecting on this phenomenon, fashion brands have expanded the concept of a variety of cultural, artistic, and experience cultures with a variety of cultural and artistic sectors in each of the world's major cities. The fashion companies began to focus on fashion programs featuring "Funology" as the fun which creates a sense of curiosity rather than a meaningless space and a fun experience. Therefore, this study analyzes the spatial characteristics of fashion flagship store sites using characteristics of fashion flagship store presented in the expressions of fashion, and analyzes the spatial characteristics of the fashion flagship store based on the spatial characteristics derived from the spatial characteristics of the fashion scene. Based on these results, we confirm the relationship between the Fashion Flagship and the Funology. Design Aspects of the Fashion Flagship Store with Elements of Fun and We expect continuous research as a strategic factor that provides limitless ideas for many design and creative activities.

기록학의 패러다임 전환에 따른 기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Archival Description in according with Paradigm Shift of the Archival Sciences)

  • 북미 기록학계는 1990년대 전자기록, 2000년대 초 전자기록의 진본성 문제를 다루었고 최근에 들어 미시적이고 문화적 담론을 인식한 연구의 흐름이 나타나고 있다. 이것을 기록학의 패러다임 전환이라고 부를 수 있다. 이는 정보화와 기술(technology)에 영향에 따른 것이기도 하다. 그러나 최근 미시적 문화적 담론을 인식한 커뮤니티 아카이브, 일상 아카이브 등은 포스트모더니즘의 영향으로 기록문화나 역사가 갖는 개별적 특수성을 인정해야 한다는 발상에서 비롯된 것이라 봐야한다. 즉 일상, 마을, 커뮤니티 아카이브는 기왕의 기록학 담론에서 배제되고 소외된 목소리들을 기록으로 남기려는 노력이다. 하지만 이러한 전환된 인식을 바탕으로 커뮤니티 아카이브를 기록화하기 위한 현재 존재하고 있는 방법론은 제한적이다. 특히 기술(description)은 공공영역에서 이용하고 있는 여러 표준들을 그대로 적용하고 있다. 기술표준을 통해서는 커뮤니티 및 커뮤니티 아카이브가 가지고 있는 특수성과 개별성을 반영하지 못한다. 이러한 상황은 북미뿐만 아니라 한국에서도 비슷한 양태이다. 따라서 각 커뮤니티 아카이브의 목적과 지향을 우선적으로 이해해야 하며 이를 적합하게 표현할 수 있는 기술방법이 필요하다. 즉, 기왕의 기술방법이 아닌 탈표준이 필요하다. 이를 위해 우선 패러다임 전환과 기술을 이론적으로 살펴보고 현재 운영되고 있는 커뮤니티 아카이브의 기술을 분석했다. 분석을 통해 기술표준의 한계를 지적하고 나아가 '우애의 아카이브' 프로젝트의 기술을 비판적으로 검토하여 '한국인권기록기술'이라고 할 수 있는 패러다임 전환에 따른 기술을 제안하고자 한다.

아케이드게임 규제 패러다임 전환에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Shifting of Regulation Paradigm for Arcade Game)

  • 본 논문은 2006년 이후 수년째 산업 기반마저 위태로울 정도로 침체된 국내 아케이드게임에 대해 새로운 규제 패러다임의 필요성에 대한 연구이다. 아케이드 플랫폼은 일체형 특성과 PC기반으로 전환은 아케이드게임에서 사행성 문제가 더 심각할 수 있는 기술적 환경을 제공한다. 아케이드게임 초기부터 문제되는 사행 도구화의 문제를 해결하기 위해서도 기존의 게임물과 사행성에 초점을 맞춘 규제 패러다임은 전환의 필요성이 제기된다. 국내와 유사한 경험을 갖고 새롭게 아케이드게임시장을 선도하고 있는 중국의 사례를 통해, 게임장과 사행행위를 핵심으로 하는 규제 패러다임의 전환에 대한 검토가 필요할 때이다.

스페인문화정체성을 통해 본 가우디의 건축 및 디자인 - 가톨릭 문화와의 연계성을 중심으로 - (Gaudi's Architectural Designs from Perspective of Spanish Cultural Identity - Focusing on Its Relationship with Catholic Culture -)

  • This study investigates and analyzes Catholic cultural traits in Gaudi's architectural designs on the assumption that the cultural identity of Spain has been built heavily on Catholic cultural tradition. Through examining thoroughly six residential buildings Gaudi designed, Catholic cultural traits were found in their interior ornaments, space formation, and expression of form. This study shows, first, that by making good use of interior ornaments, Gaudi sought to Catholic cultural uniformity among buildings that have different cultural characteristics. Second, with regard to space formation, he tended to build a chapel or an oratory inside structures which encouraged residents to worship in their home. Also, as for expression of form, his designs, expressing Catholic cultural features in various ways, succeeded to form visual uniformity among buildings and structures with a variety of styles. Lastly, by using properly Catholic cultural elements explained above and making those traits easily recognized even from a long distance, his architectural works represent very well the importance of Catholic culture as a foundation of Spain culture.
