  • Cut slope and facility of management investigation is the protection of humans and properties. it is very important the prevention of disaster facility and the damage of the slope protection facility. It is very difficult to forecast slope stability, disaster possibility and collapse. It will be able to minimize the damage which it prepare against slope facility and cut slope of deformable investigation and collapse and the disaster. therefore those deformable investigation is important. Investigations execute upheaval, crack, sliding for slope and cut slope reinforcement. Investigation executes forecast in place where the construction problem, the effect which the damage in road traffic or the contiguity facility.

  • In order to apply precast decks to the continuous composite bridges, several experiments and analytical studies were performed. For the continuous composite bridges, special attention should be paid to the transverse joints in negative moment region. Judging from the results, combination of longitudinal internal prestressing tendon and the external tendon can be effectively used for the prevention of cracking in the negative moment region of precast decks.

  • In order to apply a precast deck to continuous composite bridges, several experiments and analytical studies were performed. Design criterion for crack prevention should be such that it does not permit tension at the joint to occur when the service loads are applied. Details of the shear pocket for studs and material properties of filler in the pocket and the joint are very important considerations in design and construction. Combination of longitudinal prestressing methods, internal tendon and prestressing after shear connection, should be used for prevention of cracking in continuous precast deck bridges. Design guides for the determination of prestressing force are suggested.

코팅재로서 MMA 개질 폴리머 페이스트의 내구성능 평가 (Evaluation of Durability on MMA-Modified Polymer Paste for Coating materials)

  • In this study, MMA-modified paste of coating material for protecting the concrete structures was developed. The coating material was applied to cement concrete specimens by brush, roller and spray in each of which one, two and three layers to survey, by the cold-hot iterative test, the neutralization test, the chloride ion permeation test and the ante-abrasion test, the affect of painting methods and layers influencing on the durability of coating material. Results of the cold-hot iterative test showed that, regardless of the painting methods and layers, the defects such as crack or fuzz on surface were not produced. As the number of painting layers increased, the neutralization prevention as well as the chloride ion permeation prevention effects were increased. On the other hand, no difference was found between the painting methods. Reducing weight by abrasion of polymer paste coating material was $20\%$ comparing to that of cement mortar.

GFRP 보강근을 적용한 교량용 콘크리트 도상슬래브의 균열 및 휨강도 변수 해석 (Parametric Crack and Flexural Strength Analyses of Concrete Slab For Railway Structures Using GFRP Rebar)

  • 본 연구는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 철근을 대체하여 내산화성과 전기저항이 높은 GFRP 보강근을 적용한 도상슬래브의 최적변수해석을 수행하였다. 철도 궤도슬래브에 적용되는 철근은 열차 운행 중 신호전류의 손실을 일으켜 열차의 안정성을 저해하며, 철근의 부식으로 내구성이 저하될 수 있다. GFRP 보강근의 직경 및 배근 개수 변화가 전체 콘크리트 도상슬래브의 휨강도 및 균열제어에 미치는 영향을 유한요소 변수해석을 통하여 상세분석하였다. 해석 결과, GFRP 보강근의 직경 및 배근을 합리화하여 제안하였으며 이러한 경우 기존 배근보다 더욱 경제적인 단면을 도출할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구로부터 도출된 결과는 향후 GFRP 보강근을 적용하여 도상슬래브를 설계하는 경우 보다 합리적이고 경제적인 단면을 산정할 수 있는 가이드라인이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

포장 균열 깊이가 공동 관리 등급에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the Effect of Pavement Crack Depth of the Cavity Management Grade)

  • 연구목적:서울시는 공동관리 등급 기준에 따라 공동의 규모, 아스팔트포장 두께, 포장면의 균열깊이를 고려하여 긴급, 우선, 일반, 관찰등급으로 공동의 위험도를 분류하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2019년 서울시 공동조사용역에서 발견된 265개소의 공동의 상부 포장상태를 확인하여 포장균열이 확인된 17개소에 대하여 균열깊이를 측정하였다. 연구방법: 1차에서는 확인된 공동의 균열 확인을 위하여 버니어 캘리퍼스, 테이퍼 게이지, 깊이 게이지를 활용하여 균열 폭 및 깊이를 측정하였다. 2차에서는 상부 노면에서 가장 크게 균열이 발생한 위치를 확인하여 아스콘을 천공 후 균열 깊이를 추가로 측정하였다. 연구결과:확인된 시험공동 17개소 중 9개소에서 공동 관리 등급이 상향 조정되었다. 따라서, 긴급복구와 우선복구의 경우에는 포장 균열 깊이와 잔여 아스팔트 콘크리트 포장 두께에 따라 등급 조정이 필요하다. 결론:공동 상부에 균열이 발생한 경우는 천공을 통하여 균열 진행 상태를 파악하고 잔여 아스팔트 콘크리트 두께를 확인하여 공동등급을 결정해야한다.

Analysis of the crack propagation rules and regional damage characteristics of rock specimens

  • To study the evolution mechanism of cracks in rocks with multiple defects, rock-like samples with multiple defects, such as strip-shaped through-going cracks and cavity groups, are used, and the crack propagation law and changes in AE (acoustic emission) and strain of cavity groups under different inclination angles are studied. According to the test results, an increase in the cavity group inclination angle can facilitate the initial damage degree of the rock and weaken the crack initiation stress; the initial crack initiation direction is approximately 90°, and the extension angle is approximately 75~90° from the strip-shaped through-going cracks; thus, the relationship between crack development and cavity group initiation strengthens. The specific performance is as follows: when the initiation angle is 30°, the cracks between the cavities in the cavity group develop relatively independently along the parallel direction of the external load; when the angle is 75°, the cracks between the cavities in the cavity group can interpenetrate, and slip can occur along the inclination of the cavity group under the action of the shear mechanism rupture. With the increase in the inclination angle of the cavity group, the AE energy fluctuation frequency at the peak stress increases, and the stress drop is obvious. The larger the cavity group inclination angle is, the more obvious the energy accumulation and the more severe the rock damage; when the cavity group angle is 30° or 75°, the peak strain of the local area below the strip-shaped through-going fracture plane is approximately three times that when the cavity group angle is 45° and 60°, indicating that cracks are easily generated in the local area monitored by the strain gauge at this angle, and the further development of the cracks weakens the strength of the rock, thereby increasing the probability of major engineering quality damage. The research results will have important reference value for hazard prevention in underground engineering projects through rock with natural and artificial defects, including tunnels and air-raid shelters.

A study on effects of water-cement ratio and crack width on chloride ion transmission rate in concrete

  • To study the effects of water-cement ratio changes and cracks on chloride ion transmission rate in cracked concrete, RCM method was adopted to accelerate the diffusion of chloride ion in cracked concrete, and the changes in chloride ion concentration and around the cracks are inferred by finite-element method. The test results show that as far as prefabricated cracks on concrete components are concerned, the width thresholds of two cracks on the concrete specimens with a water-cement ratio of 0.5 and 0.6 are 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm respectively, the width threshold of two cracks on the concrete specimens with a water-cement ratio of 0.4 is 0.05 mm and 0.2 mm respectively; and the results of numerical simulation show that the smaller the water-cement ratio is, the more significant effects of cracks on chloride ion transmission rate are. As a result, more attention shall be paid to the crack prevention, repairing and strengthening for high-strength concrete.

스플라인 커플링의 프레팅 마멸 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimating of Fretting Wear of a Spline Coupling)

  • Fretting is a kind of wear which effects on reliability and durability. When machine parts are joined joint in parts such as a bolt or a rivet or a pin, fretting phenomenon is occurred by micro relative movement. When fretting occurs in joint parts, there is wear which is the cause of fatigue crack. Recently, although the ways of assessment of fatigue and damage tolerance are established, there is no way to evaluate fatigue crack initiation life by fretting phenomenon. Consequently, the prediction of life and prevention plan caused by fretting are needed to improve reliability. The objective of this paper is to predict fretting wear by using a experimental method and contact analysis considering wear process. For prediction of fretting wear volume, systematic and controlled experiments with a disc-plate contact under gross slip fretting conditions were carried out. A modified Archard equation is used to calculate wear depths from the contact pressure and stroke using wear coefficients obtained from the disc-plate fretting tests.

  • There are some problems when weld gray cast iron which is used well in automobile industry with auto MIG welding. the problems are followed like this 1) Occurrence of porosity and hardening organization. 2) Occurrence of crack due to lower elongation of gray cast iron when restraint stress works on. 3) Occurrence of porosity and unstable bead shape due to unstable arc under low current MIG welding.. especially there is a restraint on chemical composition of weld metal because the weldment demands more than 570Hv hardness. so it is hard to use Fe-Ni wire to prevent cracks occured on weldment and new welding method is needed to resolve that problems. This study shows how to prevent porosity and cracks occurring when weld gray cast iron trimming die and shows a new welding method for press die of gray cast iron
