A Study on Effective Management of Design Included in An Experimental Course (실험교과목에 포함된 요소설계의 효과적인 운영에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, it introduce how to operate the design 1 credit (one hour), containing in the experimental courses (2 credits and 3 hours) of "Basic Electronic Circuit Design and Experiment" and "Advanced Electronic Circuit Design and Experiment" in junior grade of Information & Control Engineering Advanced Course in Hankyong National University. The effective procedures, results, and improvements to operate the design 1 credit (one hour) in combination with the experimental one credit (2 hours), according to the engineering accreditation system, are introduced. To learn an effective design method, students have to learn completely the design courses according to a system diagram for completing design courses.

  • This study suggests desirable disaster safety education curriculum through analyzing the operational status of the school disaster safety management training course and demand survey of school staff. First, the problem of the disaster safety training course of the school is not connected with the lack of law and system and the school disaster safety job. Second, improvement of law and system and variety of training should be made to acquire professional knowledge. Third, it is necessary to divide curriculum into the following four categories, according to educational needs of public officials ; Educational administration officers course focused on facility safety, maintenance and disaster countermeasure. Educational officials in technical post course addressing approval and permission of school facility projects, seismic reinforcement of school building, etc. Educational supervisors course covering roles and responsibilities of the school safety supervisors in the event of disaster. Teaching staffs course focused on safety instructions for students. Fourth, it is found that lectures and experiential learning methods are the most desirable methods of teaching and learning, and the major ranks are earthquake disaster, fire, gas, typhoon, school road, and electrical safety.

  • Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network is allowed to searching the all curriculums and courses related with training but also is a one stop handling integrated learning system to cover a course registration, learning and analysis of learning performance. Through developing and managing the Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network, it is available to get the various curriculum thus it is for trainers able to enforce the self oriented course choice and then high quality of training could be proposed by the diverse training curriculums and competitions. To manage Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network more effectively, active public relations marketing activities, high reliable correct information service and rich contents are required. It is essential to manage the learner and learning contents supplier, stable financial resources, personal security issue and protecting a copyright of training curriculum to be a successful network system.

  • Currently, in the course of introducing rolling stocks, RAMS standard and management by system engineering method apply to rolling stock system. Technical elements and results applied in system introduction phase are just used in acquisition stage, and these are not applied to the standard in railway site. Therefore, it is difficult to apply to standardized technology and quality assurance measure. Due to the establishment of the EU, railway operation system is internationalized and the international railway standards are being discussed in various ways. In addition, standardization is expanded from manufacture to operation and maintenance. It is to provide consistent standard in quality, cost calculation of maintenance technology, maintenance technology and quality assurance in case of international railway safety incidents. Therefore, this study is to find technology, quality and cost management model to be used for choosing railway-operation guidance by considering how technologies & quality have changed in system life cycle, compared with estimated standards, based on the technologies & quality-related result in the process of getting new rolling stocks and management guidance for operation & maintenance process.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of Quality Leadership on the Business Performance through Quality System for Manufacturing Companies in the North-east China, and research into the model of Quality Leadership is related with the Business Performance. A new questionnaire of QM based on Conti's Quality System thesis, was developed and tested. A statistical analysis of data was collected from Manufacturing Firms in the North-east China. As a result, Quality Leadership is the important drivers of Total Quality Management, and is related with the Quality System. Then, the Quality System is directly related with process, and process is also related with the Product Quality and the Business Performance. Of course, the Product Quality is directly related with the Business Performance in the end.

  • This investigation was conducted to develop an integrated disease management system against large patch disease occurred in a golf course. Large patch, brown patch, and Rhizoctonia blight sometimes are used interchangeably by turfgrass managers and researchers, Large patch disease of zoysiagrass is caused by a soilborne fungus called Rhizoctonia solani. Although this fungus is very similar to the one that causes brown patch disease of cool-season turfgrasses in mid-summer. Large patch development is favored by high thatch and soil moisture. Avoid overwatering the turfgrass, especially in the fall or early spring. Poorly-drained areas are very susceptible to injury from large patch and should be reconstructed (draining tiles, etc) to avoid soil saturation. However, control of yellow patch with fungicides is normally not recommended because the disease has only cosmetic effects and symptoms are usually very short-lived. Therefore, we reviewed the symptom of large patch to look for control method by soil management method.

  • Changing from the industrial society to the knowledge based society, all industrial companies have faced the need of technology information management which is a knowledge of searching, gathering and analyzing technology information promptly and correctly to apply to their activities. Especially the research institutions in medium and smaller sized enterprises need the technology information management deeply because they have difficulty to find what is done or what is being done in which is related with their working. In spite of the importance of technology information is widespread, there is no course of academic study in korea to bring up the specialist dealing with technology information effectively. As the answer in this situation this paper is going to present and develop course curriculum for technology information special search man-power ; a course of study to bring up search man-power who have expert knowledge. The model of Course Curriculum which is developed in this paper will serve to make the searching expert of technology information in korea.

  • The objective of this study is to establish the management guideline for golf course construction nonpoint source pollution reduction. For this, the characteristics of nonpoint source pollution from golf course construction and current management status were investigated. Investigated results showed that before and after monitoring for golf course construction sites are necessary as well as during the construction. It is important to focus on erosion and sediment control during the construction. To reduce a nonpoint source pollution from golf course construction, it is necessary to analyze the nonpoint source pollution movement through effective monitoring system and make a effective pollution reduction strategy considering construction stages, origin of the pollution and diverse management practices.

  • According to increase in supply of public rental housing, in connection with support plan of housing welfare from government, necessity of maintenance management is coming to be important. By analyzing characteristics of public rental housing and maintenance management system, this study grasped developmental possibility of a web based maintenance management system as well as a critical point for improvement of problem and elevation of efficiency about maintenance management process. As we present not only useful possibility of ubiquitous equipments utilizing IT like PDA but effectiveness by using, based on this result, we represent course of improvement to systematic development for user that complement the existing maintenance management system which is currently developed.

  • Recently KAERI has developed the severe accident management guidance to establish Korea standard severe accident management system. On the other hand the PC-based severe accident training simulator SATS has been developed, and the MELCOR code is used as the simulation engine. SATS graphically displays and simulates the severe accidents with interactive user commands. The control capability of SATS could make a severe accident training course more interesting and effective. In this paper the development and functions of the electrical hypertext guidance module HyperKAMG and the SATS-HyperKAMG linkage system for the severe accident management are described.
