자속커플링 SFCL의 사고전류 변화에 따른 전류제한특성 분석 (Characteristics according to increase of the fault current level of Flux-Coupling Type Superconducting Fault Current Limiter(SFCL))

  • The flux-coupling type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) is composed of a series transformer and superconducting unit of the YBCO thin films. The primary and secondary coils in the transformer were wound in series each other through an iron core and the YBCO thin film was connected with secondary coil in parallel. In a normal condition, the flux generated from a primary coil is cancelled out by its structure and the zero resistance of the YBCO thin films. When a fault occurs, the resistance of the YBCO thin films was generated and the fault current was limited by the SFCL. In this paper, we investigated the fault current limiting characteristics according to fault current level in the flux-coupling type SFCL. The experiment results that the fault current limiting characteristics was improved according to increase of the fault current level.

  • 광대역 전력선 통신은 전류의 흐름과 함께 효과적인 양방향 통신을 얻기 위하여 전력선 분배망을 통신 매체로 이용한다. 그러나 전력선은 통신에 최적화된 채널이 아니므로 인터넷, 음성 및 데이터 서비스에 대한 통신 시스템의 개발은 시뮬레이션에 의한 성능 분석에 적합한 측정 기반의 전송 모델을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 전달 함수를 기술하는 분석 모델을 다중 전력선 모델의 감쇠 및 경로 파라미터를 획득하는데 이용하였으며 이를 바탕으로 주파수 응답특성을 계산하였다. 계산된 결과는 다중경로에 의한 주파수 선택성 페이딩과 주파수에 대한 신호의 감쇄를 보여주었으며 이는 실험 결과와 잘 일치하였다. 이론모델에 적용한 배전선을 실험적으로 구성한 후 배전선에 전기적인 신호를 인가하는 방법으로 비접촉식 결합을 위한 페라이트 코어로 구성된 유도 결합 장치를 사용하였다. 신호 결합 손실은 커플러에 감긴 권선수에 의해 최소화 될 수 있다. 3회 권선 결합 효율은 일회 권선 결과보다 6dB 이상 개선됨을 보였다.

Impact of spar-nacelle-blade coupling on the edgewise response of floating offshore wind turbines

  • The impact of spar-nacelle-blade coupling on edgewise dynamic responses of spar-type floating wind turbines (S-FOWT) is investigated in this paper. Currently, this coupling is not considered explicitly by researchers. First of all, a coupled model of edgewise vibration of the S-FOWT considering the aerodynamic properties of the blade, variable mass and stiffness per unit length, gravity, the interactions among the blades, nacelle, spar and mooring system, the hydrodynamic effects, the restoring moment and the buoyancy force is proposed. The aerodynamic loads are combined of a steady wind (including the wind shear) and turbulence. Each blade is modeled as a cantilever beam vibrating in its fundamental mode. The mooring cables are modeled using an extended quasi-static method. The hydrodynamic effects calculated by using Morison's equation and strip theory consist of added mass, fluid inertia and viscous drag forces. The random sea state is simulated by superimposing a number of linear regular waves. The model shows that the vibration of the blades, nacelle, tower, and spar are coupled in all degrees of freedom and in all inertial, dissipative and elastic components. An uncoupled model of the S-FOWT is then formulated in which the blades and the nacelle are not coupled with the spar vibration. A 5MW S-FOWT is analyzed by using the two proposed models. In the no-wave sea, the coupling is found to contribute to spar responses only. When the wave loading is considered, the coupling is significant for the responses of both the nacelle and the spar.

  • The unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) is an effective custom power device that is used at the point of common coupling to protect loads from voltage and current-related PQ issues. Currently, most researchers have studied series unit and parallel unit models and an idealized transformer model. However, the interactions of the series and parallel converters in AC-link are difficult to analyze. This study utilizes an equivalent transformer model to accomplish an electric connection of series and parallel converters in the AC-link and to establishes a precise unified mathematical model of the UPQC. The strong coupling interactions of series and parallel units are analyzed, and they show a remarkable dependence on the excitation impedance of transformers. Afterward, a feed-forward decoupling method based on a unified model that contains the uncertainty components of the load impedance is applied. Thus, this study presents an adaptive method to estimate load impedance. Furthermore, simulation and experimental results verify the accuracy of the proposed modeling and decoupling algorithm.

  • Augmented reality is a technique for combining virtual images into real life by showing information of virtual 3D objects on top of a real-world environment (Azuma et al., 2001). This study is an augmented reality-based educational content delivery device that receives user input that selects either a preset object or a photographed object for augmented reality-based training; It includes a three-dimensional design generation unit that generates a stereoscopic model of the augmented reality environment from an object, a three-dimensional view of the scene, a disassembly process of the developing road from a three-dimensional model, and a content control unit provided by the user terminal by generating educational content including a three-dimensional model, a scene chart, a scene, a decomposition process, and a coupling process to build a coupling process from the scene to the three-dimensional model in an augmented reality environment. The next study provides a variety of educational content so that children can use AR technology as well as shapes to improve learning effectiveness. We also believe that studies are needed to quantitatively measure the efficacy of which educational content is more effective when utilizing AR technology.

다차원 모형을 이용한 하천흐름 연계모의 (Coupling Simulation with Multi-dimensional Models for River Flow)

  • 수리구조물의 효과적 운영과 홍수기 피해저감을 위해서는 하천수리특성에 대한 적절한 이해가 필수적이며, 다차원모형의 적용을 통해 그 목적을 달성할 수 있다. 그러나 다차원모형 적용은 방대한 자료와 많은 분석시간을 요구하여 실무적용에 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 유역유출모형 및 1차원 수리모형과 다차원모형의 연계모의 기법을 제안하고 실제 하천에 대한 적용성을 검증하고자 하였다. 다차원 수리모형으로 EFDC를 이용하였으며, 모의를 위한 경계조건 결정을 위한 유역유출모형과 1차원수리모형으로 COSFIM과 FLDWAV를 이용하였다. 다차원모형의 연계적용기법을 통하여 기존의 선단위 지점단위 정보 뿐 아니라 공간 격자단위 정보를 제공 받을 수 있어 하천에서의 물리적 현상을 고려한 공간적 수리특성을 반영한 하천관리가 가능할 것이다.

  • A trisaccharide, GlcNAcp- ${\beta}-(1{\to}3)-Galp-{\alpha}-(1{\to}2)$-6-deoxy-altroHepp- ${\alpha}-(1{\to}O$-propyl, as an O-antigenic repeating unit of C. jejuni serotype O:23 and O:36 was synthesized. Coupling of the GlcNPhth-(1${\to}$3)-Gal disaccharide donor with allyl 6-deoxy-altroHep acceptor in the presence of iodonium dicollidine perchlorate (IDCP) promoter afforded the ${\alpha}$-galactosidic trisaccharide with high stereoselectivities. Subsequent deacetalation, dephthaloylation, N-acetylation, and hydrogenolytic debenzylation furnished the title compound.

  • In this study, in order to develop the multilayer piezoelectric actuator and ultrasonic resonator, PMN-PNN-PZT ceramics were fabricated by the variations of ball size at sintering temperature of $900^{\circ}C$ and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated as a function of the variations of ball size. When the ball size was 3mm$\phi$, density, dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}r)$, electromechanical coupling factor(kp) and piezoelectric d constant$(d_{33})$ were increased. At the ball size of 3mm$\phi$, the specimen showed the optimum values of density=7.909g/$cm^3$, kp=0.592, Qm=1292, $d_{33}$=368pC/N, $\varepsioln_r$=1502, respectively.

  • A trisaccharide, 6d-Altro-Hepp$\alpha$ (1$\rightarrow$3) GlcNAc$\beta$ (1$\rightarrow$3) Gal$\alpha$ (1$\rightarrow$$OCH_2CH_2N_3$, as an O-antigenic repeating unit of Campylobacter jejuni serotypes O:23 and O:36, was synthesized. Coupling of the 6d-altro-Hepp$\alpha$ (1$\rightarrow$3) GlcNAc$\beta$ (1$\rightarrow$SEt donor with Gal$\alpha$ (1${\rightarrow}OCH_2CH_2Cl$ acceptor in the presence of NIS-TfOH promoter afforded the trisaccharide having the $\beta$ (1$\rightarrow$3) Gal linkage. $\beta$ -Stereospecificity and the desired regioselectivity for the 3-OH Gal are obtained. Subsequent hydrogenation, acetylation, azide displacement, hydrazinolysis, Nacetylation, and finally deacetylation furnished the title trisaccharide hapten for further glycoconjugation.

마이크로그리드에서 하이브리드 시스템의 Feeder Flow Mode 운영을 위한 제어 알고리즘 (Control Algorithm of Hybrid System for Feeder Flow Mode Operation in Microgrid)

  • Active power control scheme for distributed generation in microgrid consists of feeder flow control and unit power control. Feeder flow control is more useful than the unit power control for demand-side management, because microgrid can be treated as a dispatchable load at the point of common coupling(PCC). This paper presents detailed descriptions of the feeder flow control scheme for the hybrid system in microgrid. It is divided into three parts, namely, the setting of feeder flow reference range for stable hybrid system operation, feeder flow control algorithm depending on load change in microgrid and hysteresis control. Simulation results using the PSCAD/EMTDC are presented to validate the inverter control method for a feeder flow control mode. As a result, the feeder flow control algorithm for the hybrid system in microgrid is efficient for supplying continuously active power to customers without interruption.
