최근, 우리나라가 외국산견을 수입하여 기계검정한 성적을 비교 분석한바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 원료견의 성상이 고르지 못한데 특히 선제견비율과 건견생사량비율에서 심한 변동을 나타내었다. 2) 상위등급의 원료견을 수입하지 못하고 D,E격의 하위등급견이 수입되었으며 가격이 높은 편이다. 3) 상위격의 원료견을 수입하는 것이 향후 우러나라 견제품의 고급화를 피하리라고 본다.

The year of 2009 marks the $200^{th}$ anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his book, On the Origin of Species. Having survived the 150 years of hardening and tempering, Darwin's theory of natural selection is now more comprehensive and powerful than ever. It casts its shadow over nearly all academic disciplines and societal sectors. It truly revolutionized the way we look at the world and ourselves. In the midst of Darwinian revolution, however, Korea remains as a backward country as far as the understanding of Darwin and his theory is concerned. A variety of intellectual activities organized to celebrate the Year of Darwin is helping to narrow the gap. This article summarizes the kinds of such activities held in Korea this year and explains how Darwin made all this possible. To paraphrase the famous quotation by Theodosius Dobzhansky, I now dare to say, "Nothing in life makes sense except in the light of evolution".

An infrastructure has been expand with government-initiated series of supporting business in the country rural village. However, there has still been a shortage of it compared to the city. it needs the infra-improvements that making international competitiveness for agricultural competitiveness securing and improving for housing condition. In particular, Public using facilities in rural village are not function as communal identity but life as enjoy culture for farmer. Therefor it is hot-issue that changed rural economy recently is innovated suitable. This study suggests the customized revitalization strategy for the variation of inside and outside of rural communities, after analyzing and classifying on current status of public using facilities in rural village, in chungcheong area.

Wind farm development project contains high business risks because that a wind farm, which is to be operating for 20 years, has to be designed and assessed only relying on a year or little more in-situ wind data. Accordingly, long-term correction of short-term measurement data is one of most important process in wind resource assessment for project feasibility investigation. This paper shows comparison of general Measure-Correlate-Prediction models and neural network, and presents new method using neural network for increasing prediction accuracy by accommodating multiple reference data. The proposed method would be interim step to complete long-term correction methodology for Korea, complicated Monsoon country where seasonal and diurnal variation of local meteorology is very wide.

With rapidly industrial development, a railway has become of a main traffic means. But, the railway noise has caused much annoyance for the residents living nearby railway tracks. Therefore, in our country, for established of Quite dwelling environment, execute regulation standard of railway noise from January 1, 2000. Efficiency soundproofing measures, however, are very difficult because of the lack of basic data and insufficiency of the existing research. In this point, this study attempts to survey the characteristics of attenuation and propagation of railway noise in by existence of noise barrier. And this study intends to get the basic data for establishment of a standard about railway noise.

Recently, construction vibration has caused annoyance for a number of dwellers in nearby construction field and that induced from operating of large construction equipment, has become a very serious issue in our living environment. But, construction vibration standard of our living environment. But construction vibration standard of our country is efficient. Especially, directly blow method(diesel piling method, oil pressure method, etc) has caused much problems of highly impactive vibration. Construction works, in order to solve these problem, will be used SIP(Soilcement Injected Precast Pile) method of low vibration equipment. In this point, this study attempts to survey on the characteristics of piling vibration by SIP method for various earth conditions in construction field. And this study intends to get the basic data to establish a standard about construction vibration.

Electric power is an important element in any modern economy. The availability of a reliable power supply at a reasonable cost is important for the economic growth and development of a country. Electric power utilities throughout the world therefore strive to meet customer demands economically with high quality and reliability. As the power industry moves towards open competition, therefore, there has been a call for a methodology by which to evaluate power system reliability through the use of customer interruption characteristics. This paper presents the results of an investigation and analysis of interruption characteristics of an industrial customer in Korea. This study used a direct visit survey to determine the investigation and analysis of electric service quality and the characteristics of industrial customers in Korea. A customer survey conducted throughout Korea via personal interviews of 660 sample customers is presented here. Variation according to characteristics of interruption such as duration, time of day, frequency and day of interruption was also investigated

One of the indigeneous plants to this country, Syringa dilatata $N_{AKAI}$ (Oleaceae) is known in commerce as 'Ya-Jung-Hyang' (野丁香) and has been known to be of effect as bitter stomachics. Seasonal variations in the content of polyalcohols and free reducing sugars in leaves of this plant which contains syringin glycoside, mannitol and free reducing sugars etc. were studied. Application of chromotropic acid to formaldehyde which was obtained from polyalcohols and reducing sugars by treatment with periodic acid results in reddish violet coloration and the solution has absorption maximum at wave length $570m\;{\mu}$. By the use of ionic exchange resin chromatography, poyalcohols were separated from the above mixture. The content of polyalcohols of this plant was plentiful in the growing season while that of free reducing sugars was decreasing vice versa.

Changing patterns of population densities in urban centers are different between Western countries and non-Western countries. Although Seoul is located in a non-Western country, the result of this study shows that its pattern of population density falls into the category of Western cities. Through the examination of three population density gradient models, it is clear that no model can precisely explain the population distribution of Seoul over time. Some of the models partly indicate the actual population distrisbution. The Clark model is appropriate to denote population distribution in the center of Seoul at an early stage in development. The Sherratt model cannot adequately explain the population distribution of Seoul.

The use of shotcrete-sprayed concrete for the support of underground excavations was pioneered by the civil engineering. Now, for the nuclear wastes disposal plant in our country, watertightness of shotcrete is one of the very important properties. This study evaluated the watertightness of shotcrete using cement mineral accelerator with watertightness materials for the long-term watertightness. In this study, for improvement of watertightness of shotcrete, it used two types of obtainable at a store. Watertightness tests of shotcrete were performed the water absorption coefficient, permeability, porosity and hydrates variation. In a shotcrete containing watertightness materials, watertightness of shotcrete was improved about $15%{\sim}65%$ rather than plain shotcrete.
