LPG 연료용 비황분계 부취제의 적용성 연구 (A Study on the Application of Sulfur-Free Odorant for LPG Fuel)

  • 일반적으로 황분계 부취제는 연료가스로 인한 가스중독, 발화, 폭발 등의 사고를 방지하고, 배출가스에 의해 연료 가스 누출의 즉각적으로 손쉽게 검출할 수 있도록 LPG, 그리고 도시가스와 같은 연료가스에 첨가 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 황을 함유한 가스용 부취제를 대체하여 연료의 저황분화와 금속 부식성을 낮출 수 있는 LPG 연료용 비황분계 부취제 개발을 위하여 실험하였다. 비황분계 부취제는 황을 함유하지 않는 12개의 부취물질을 선정하였으며, 직접 관능법에 의한 취질과 취기 평가를 실험하였다. 최종 선정된 혼합 부취물질은 methyl isovalerate, methyl acrylate, 2-ethyl-3-methyl pyrazine이며, 이때 조성비는 50% : 40% : 10% 이다. 최종 비황분계 부취제(K-Petro S-Free)는 LPG 연료에 40 wt ppm 혼합하여 품질평가, 금속 부식성 평가 그리고 장기 안정성 평가를 실험하였다. 이 때 LPG 연료용 비황분계 부취제는 국내 LPG 연료의 품질기준을 모두 만족하였다. 또한 금속에 대한 부식성에는 영향이 없으며, 60일간의 장기 안정성 평가에서 LPG연료의 조성에 영향을 주지 않았다. 따라서 최종 선정된 비황분계 부취제(K-Petro S-Free)는 LPG 연료의 첨가제로서 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

  • Major cause of defects in steam generator tubes at nuclear power plant is the accumulation of magnetite and other byproducts of corrosion in the crevice gap between support plates and tubes. Since damaged tubes result in contamination of the secondary coolant by the radioactive primary coolant, they represent a safety hazard. Early detection of magnetite buildup is, therefore, imperative in order to take remedial measures such as chemical flushing. Although the eddy current testing is being used for the inspection of steam generator tubes, the interpretation of resulting signals is generally a difficult task. This paper uses the phase of sensor coil emf as the test signal to find a way of easier signal interpretation. Numerical study using FEM shows that the shape of resulting signal is good for identifying the relative position of the probe to the support plate, and for discreminating the different shapes and degrees of magnetite buildup in the crevice gap region.

자력에 의한 극청정 내면의 연마가공에 관한 연구 (Polishing of Ultra-Clean Internal Surface Using Magnetic Force)

  • Recently, the technology for internal polishing is needed for ultra-clean machining for the prevention of corrosion and pollution of parts is the area of high technology industries such as semiconductor, electronics, telecommunication optics, aerospace, and motors. In this study, an internal polishing system using the magnetic force was developed for the production of ultra-clean tubes with averaged surface roughness ranging from 0.2㎛ to 0.05㎛ or less, and magnetic abrasives composed of WC/Co powder were developed, After finding the optimal condition on each, machining characteristics using newly developed abrasive were analyzed. Form the results obtained by experimental design method, the optimal polishing condition was analyzed and, thhereafter internal polishing was done.

고강도 볼트 카드늄 취성파괴 사례연구 (The Case Study of High Strength Bolt Cadmium Embrittlement Failure)

  • It happened a failure on special bolt which supported main landing gear actuator up-lock rod of 00 aircraft. Fracture was occurred at end of center drilled hole and thread machined on bolt. Metallographic, fractographic, and other characteristics of embrittlement analysis and experiments carried out on the failed bolt to find out the reason. Bolt surface was cadmium electroplated(EP) to give lubrication and provide excellent corrosion resistance. Resultly, Bolt was failed due to cadmium embrittlement occurred during baking treatment as well as center drilled hole. for the failure that are relevant to failure analysis and prevention. For their successful functional application, cadmium EP bolts require proper and adequate baking treatment after electroplating, and is complete with no center drilled hole

  • In this paper we observe the protective coatings carbon for steel, aluminium and titanium alloys were obtained by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) under unipolar and bipolar conditions. The anticorrosion properties and the thermal stability of the surface layers were studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization. It was found that the application of the bipolar PEO mode enables one to synthesize the surface layers that possess enhanced anticorrosion and mechanical properties. results of research of antiscale PEO - coatings for marine power equipment are presented. The combined method of prevention of corrosion and scale formation was tested at the industrial plants of Russian Shipyard "Zvezda".

중수로 기기냉각수 열교환기 내부 유동 해석 (Analysis of Internal Flow for Component Cooling Water Heat Exchanger in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants)

  • The component cooling water heat exchangers are critical components in a nuclear power plant. As the operation years of the heat exchanger go by, the maintenance costs required for continuous operation also increase. Most heat exchangers have carbon steel shells, tube support plates and flow baffles. The titanium tube is susceptible to flow induced vibration. The damage on carbon steel tube support rod and titanium tube around cooling water entrance area is inevitable. Therefore, analysis of internal flow around the component cooling water entrance and tube channel is a good opportunity to seek for failure prevention practice and maintenance method. The numerical study was carried out by FLUENT code to find out the causes of tube failure and its location.

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of polymer-modified surface preparation mortars with pozzolanic materials for corrosion prevention method in deteriorated sewage treatment structures. The prepackaged-type surface preparation mortars are prepared with a polymer-binder ratio of 10%, ground granulated blast furnace slag contents of 0, 15, 30%, a fly ash content of 15%. And, the specimens are tested for workability, adhesion in tension, water absorption, crack and impact resistance. As a result, the prepackage-type surface preparation mortars for sewage treatment structure are satisfied with quality requirements by KS F 4716, Japan sewage work agency(JS) and JIS A 6916 for surface preparation mortars.

전해질 첨가제가 알루미늄-공기전지의 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Electrolyte-Additives on the Performance of Al-Air Cells)

  • 알루미늄-공기전지의 4M KOH전해질에 아연화합물과 같은 첨가제를 넣어 수소발생 및 알루미늄의 부식에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 첨가제중의 아연화합물은 수소발생과전압을 증가시키고, TPC(tripotasium citrate)와 CaO는 알루미늄표면에 치밀한 막을 형성하여 수소발생속도와 알루미늄부식속도를 감소시켰다. 이들 첨가제들에 의해 고순도알루미늄(순도, 99.999%)의 개회로전위는 양의 방향으로, 알루미늄 No 1050(순도, 99.5%)의 개회로전위는 음의 방향으로 약간 이동했다. 개회로전위에서 첨가제는 수소발생속도와 알루미늄 부식속도를 감소시켰으며, 과전압이 증가할수록 수소발생속도가 감소하여 알루미늄의 이용율이 증가하였다. 높은 전류밀도$(>100mA/cm^2)$에서는 TPC/CaO/ZnO 첨가제에 의해 고순도 알루미늄의 이용율이 In,Ga,Tl 합금 알루미늄의 이용율과 비슷하였다.

  • 축열조는 집단에너지를 공급하는 지역의 고도와 열부하에 따라 높이와 용량이 결정된다. 이는 축열조의 수두를 이용하여 열배관망에 압력을 가하고 배관망내의 비등을 방지하며 온도변화에 따라 체적이 팽창하면 이를 흡수하고 수축 시에는 부족한 중온수를 배관망에 공급하는 기능을 해야 하기 때문이다. 또한, 축열조의 역할은 주로 열수요량의 변화가 심한 계절별 주간 야간 시간대에 적절한 용량을 갖추고 잉여 열량을 저장한 후 필요한 시간대에 지역난방 열원으로 이용하면 열생산 설비의 운전 조건에 영향을 받지 않으면서 독자적으로 지역난방 열수요를 공급할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 연구는 지역난방에 건설되어 운영 중인 축열조 27기 중 폴리우레탄 폼의 단열 재료로 시공된 18기의 축열조에 대하여 단열재의 재질과 축열조의 운전방법에 따른 단열재의 손상원인에 대한 고찰과 단열재 손상이 축열조 부식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 고찰하였다.

  • For the past scores of years, our country has driven its land development toward economic growth as its top priority. ut, as a result that almost all developments been promoted excepting environmental values, in fact, they've incurred some bad environmental effects desirable. Especially, as representative examples, we can raise some issues such as damages of the foreshore or coast wet lands by seas reclamation, and coast corrosion by building up of rivers or coast constructions. Recently, many people started to have great interests in businesses of environment preservation or recycling to minimize effects of these environmental matters. However, before beginning public businesses of non-commercial goods relevant to the seas environments, there seemed to be some limitations that can not accomplish under consideration of environmental sides at the same time while performing economic validities and efficiencies with environmental economic analysis, which is already effective in countries advanced in environment, it's a very meaningful course in that citizens' opinions are being influenced in seas environmental policies for their efficient execution. In this research, after modeling coast corrosion preventives with Jeong-am coast of Gangwon Province, and using Contingent Valuation Method being widely used of value measuring methods on Non-commercial goods, we've appreciated environmental economy's validity of construction works and the scale of environmental economic value of beach restoration work.
