바인더 Stiffness와 혼합물의 변형강도 및 동적크리프 특성과의 상관성 분석을 통한 김테스트 적용성 고찰 (Correlation Analysis of Binder Stiffness with Deformation Strength and Dynamic Creep Property of Asphalt Mixtures for Evaluation of Kim Test Applicability)

  • 아스팔트 바인더 Stiffness와 혼합물의 변형강도 및 동적크리프 특성과의 상관성 분석을 토대로 혼합물의 소성변형 저항성 (내변형성) 추정을 위한 Kim test의 적용성을 고찰하였다. 본 연구는 골재 2종류, AC 60-80 및 이를 개질한 총 8종류의 바인더로 총 16가지 혼합물을 제조하였다. DSR로 각 바인더의 $G^*/sine\delta$를 측정하였으며 Kim test의 변형강도와 동적크리프 시험의 최종변위(FD)와 동적안정도(DS)를 각 혼합물로부터 측정하였다. 바인더의 $G^*/sine\delta$와 소성변형 관련 3가지 특성($S_D$. FD, DS)과의 상관성 분석 결과 $G^*/sine\delta$$S_D$와 상관성이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다 $(R^2=0.88)$ 이는 혼합물에 내재해 있는 내변형성의 차이를 Kim test가 더 잘 구분해 낼 수 있음을 의미한다. 또한 DS와 $S_D$의 회귀분석 결과, $R^2$이 약 0.84 이상을 보여 변형강도는 동적크리프 시험의 동적안정도와 좋은 상관성을 가짐을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 아스팔트 혼합물의 내변형성 평가시 Kim test의 활용 가능성이 매우 높음을 확인하였다.

An Analysis of Correlation between Personality and Visiting Place using Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient

  • Recent advancements in mobile device technology have enabled real-time positioning so that mobile patterns of people and favorable locations can be identified and related researches have become plentiful. One of the fields of research is the relationship between the object properties and the favored location to visit. The object properties of a person include personality, which is a major property jobs, income, gender, and age. In this study, we analyzed the relationship between the human personality and the preference of the location to visit. We used Spearman's Rank correlation coefficient, one of the many methods that can be used to determine the correlation between two variables. Instead of using actual data values, Spearman's Rank correlation coefficient deals with the ranks of the two data sets. In our research, the personality and the location data sets are used. Our personality data is ranked in five ranks and the location data is ranked in 8 ranks. Spearman's Rank correlation coefficient showed better results compared to Pearson linear correlation coefficient and Kendall rank correlation coefficient. Using Spearman's correlation coefficient, the degree of the relationship between the personality and the location preference is found to be 43%.

New Construction of Quaternary Low Correlation Zone Sequence Sets from Binary Low Correlation Zone Sequence Sets

  • In this paper, using binary (N, M, L, $\epsilon$) low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence sets, we construct new quaternary LCZ sequence sets with parameters (2N, 2M, L, $2{\epsilon}$). Binary LCZ sequences for the construction should have period $N\;{\equiv}\;3$ mod 4, L|N, and the balance property. The proposed method corresponds to a quaternary extension of the extended construction of binary LCZ sequence sets proposed by Kim, Jang, No, and Chung [1].

평판 집적 광학계를 이용한 분수차 상관기 구현 (Planar integrated optics for performing fractional correlation operation)

  • 푸리에 변환의 일반형인 분수차 푸리에 변환(fractional Fourier transform : FRT)을 근간으로 하는 분수차 상관기는 입력패턴의 위치나 모양에 따라 상관결과치가 변하는 공간 가변 특성을 갖는다. 이러한 특성을 갖는 분수차 상관기를 푸리에 변환을 이용하는 기존의 상관기와 비교하였고, 분수차에 따른 상관결과치의 변화를 분석하였다. 정확한 분수차 상관함수의 계산을 위하여 광학부품들의 정렬에 있어서 고도의 정확도와 안정도를 갖는 평판 집적 광학계를 구성하였으며, 실험결과와 계산결과를 비교함으로써 평판 집적 광학계에 의한 분수차 상관기의 구현이 매우 정확히 수행될 수 있음을 검증하였다.

Image registration using Hough transform and Phase correlation in Wavelet domain

  • This paper presents a method for registering images using phase correlation technique in fourier domain, hough transform and multi-resolution wavelet. To register images, source and input images are transformed to wavelet domain. An angular transition can be obtained by applying hough transform technique followed by phase correlation. Then we apply phase correlation technique to find x-axis and y-axis transition. We apply wavelet transform to reduce processing time and also use its coefficients as edge information instead of canny detector. With multi-resolution property of wavelet transform, registration time can be greatly reduced. After we get all transition parameters, we transform the input images according to these parameters. Then, we compose and blend all images into a new large image with details of all source images. From our experiment, we can find the accurate transition both x-y translation and angular transition with less error.

  • For the good combination of high-temperature strength, toughness and creep property, $9-12\%$ chromium steels are often used for gas turbine compressors, steam turbine rotors, blade and casing. In this study, the correlation of microstructural evolution and mechanical properties was investigated fur the specimens heat-treated at 600, 650 and $700^{\circ}C$ for 1000, 3000 and 5000 hrs. The microstructure of as-received specimen was tempered martensite with a high dislocation density, small sub-grains and fine secondary phase such as $M_23C_6$. Aging for long-time at high temperature caused the growth of martensite lath and the decrease of dislocation density resulting in the decrease in strength. However, the evolution of secondary phases had influence on hardness, yield strength and impact property. In the group A specimen aged at $600^{\circ}C\;and\;650^{\circ}C$, Laves phase was observed. The Laves phase caused the increase of the hardness and the decrease of the impact property. In addition, the abrupt growth of secondary phases caused decrease of the impact property in both A and B group specimens.

아스팔트 시멘트의 분자립도 분포특성에 따른 아스팔트의 성질분석 (Estimation of Bituminous Concrete Property Based on Molecular Size Distribution of Asphalt Cement)

  • 3종류의 AC-20 아스팔트 시멘트의 분자입자분포를 고압-겔투수 크로마토그래프(HP-GPC)를 이용하여 관찰하였다. 건조상태의 습윤상태의 인장강도와 뤠질리언계수 측정을 위하여 한종류의 골재와 아스팔트 시멘크를 사용하여 실험실에서 역청콘크리트 공시체를 제조하였다. 이들의 역학적 성질시험결과와 아스팔트 시멘트 크로마토그램의 형태를 분석하여 상호간의 관계를 조사하였다. 희귀분석 결과는 역학적 성질과 크로마토그램의 분할면적비율간에 강한 상관관계가 있음을 보여주었다. 이 희귀분석 결과로부터 수학적 추정모델이 얻어졌다. 연구결과 아스팔트 크로마토그램의 특성이 정해진 아스팔트콘크리트의 역학적 성질추정이 잘 사용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.

수질오염이 산업용수에 미치는 영향 -경안천을 중심으로- (Effect of Water Pollution on the Irrigation Water - On the Kyungan Stream -)

  • The quality of water in Kyungan stream was analyzed in three different areas between season of irrigation on May and of nonirrigation on august in 1990. The results of Water quality from this study were summarized as follows: 1. The quality of water is season of irrigation containing metal ions, such as Cu and Zn as well as TN was exceeded standard levels of quality of agricultural water However, in season of nonirrigation, the quality of water in Kyungan stream was not suitable for using agricultural water due to over standard levels of containing ions of Cu and Zn or DO, COD and TN. 2. The correlation of water quality exception of pH was shown a reliance when p values were greater than 0.01 for containing ions such as Cu and Zn with the DO, COD and TN. 3. The comparison of water qualities for pH between season of irrigation and season of nonirrigation in Kyungan stream was a considerable significance property when p values were less than 0.05. The water quality containing ions of Cu and Zn with DO, COD, TN and SS also indicated a significant property when p values were less than 0.01. 4. The average water qualities of a year in three different areas for pH have shown a significant property when p values are less than 0.01. The average water qualities of a year containing DO have also shown a significant property having p values of less than 0.05. But other constituents have shown no significant property in the above three different areas.

  • Recently, Study on measuring property of a micro thin film(nm ~ hundreds of ) under Thermal Mechanical loading. In this work, We perform tensile test at high temperature(1200 ) to investigate mechanical properties of alumina TGO formed under Thermal Barrier Coating. We used Digital Image Correlation method for measuring displacement, and We presented a method of tensile test for thin film at high temperature.

  • In this paper, we propose wavelet transform image compression method such that an image is decomposed into multiresolutions using biorthogonal wavelet transform with linear phase response property and decomposed subbands are classified by maximum classification gain. The classified data is quantized by allocating bits in accordance with classified class informations within subbands through arbitrary set bit allocation algorithm. And then, quantized data in each subband are entropy coded. The proposed coding method is that the quantized data perform shuffling before entropy coding in order to remove sign bit plane. And the context is assigned by maximum correlation direction for bit plane coding.
