A processing system to produce cloud-free composite image data set was developed. In the process, a fine geometric correction based on orbit parameters and ground control points and radiometric correction based on 6S code are applied. Presently, by using AVHRR image data received at Tokyo, Okinawa, Ulaanbaatar and Bangkok, data set of 10 days composite images covering almost whole Asian region.

Before other statistical data analysis the preprocessing steps should be performed adequately to have meaningful results. These steps include processes such as baseline correction, normalization, denoising, and multiple alignment. In this paper an algorithm for baseline correction is proposed with using the piecewise cubic Hermite interpolation with block-selected points and local minima after denoising for SELDI or MALDI mass spectrometry data.

In this paper, a feedforward amplifier with error correction is designed and implemented. This amplifier is composed of operational amplifier, the performance of which is compared with that of the reference amplifier without feedforward error correction. As a result, the sec¬ondary harmonics level is improved about 10 [dB]. Therefore it is shown that the proposed feedforward amplifier network is to be adopted able for wide - band amplifiers.

This paper describes that study which construct a theoretic and experimental algorithm in order to make the automatic correction system od detent spring, and when load for correction pressed at spring, it can be found elastic and plastic deformation quantities by Finite Element Analysis. As a result, it has been found that the simulation datas are in good agreement with experimental results.

Some characteristics of the eigenvalue sensitivities have been found for beams in the paper. For cantilever beams and simply supported beams, the sensitivities of the eigenvalues to the stiffness correction factor of one element are equal and opposite to the sensitivities to the mass correction factor of the symmetrically positioned element. For beams with other boundary conditions, however, the relationship does not hold. The relationship has been proven analytically for simply supported beams.

This paper investigates the existence of a long-run relationship between world oil price and consumer price index for Korea during 1983~1999. The cointegration and error correction modelling approaches have been applied. Empirical results suggest that there exists a long-run relationship among world oil prices. consumer prices, M2 and a production gap variable. The dynamic behavior of the relationship has been investigated by estimating a error correction model, in which the error correction term have been found significant. The error correction model has also been found to be robust as it satisfy almost all relevant diagnostic tests.

In this paper, the scheme of combining the orbit correction and attitude control of a 3-axis stabilized satellite is suggested. Being coupled and complimentary, it is preferable to achieve the required orbit correction and the desired attitude control simultaneously. A solution of the probes simultaneous control of orbit correction and attitude of a satellite, is obtained by solving the two point boundary value problem numerically. The first-order gradient algorithm is used to solve the numerical problem. The simulation results show that the East-West station keeping process with the combined system of an orbit correction and an attitude control is satisfactory.

In this paper, we developed a position correction system of industrial robot for door-chassis assembly task. With the aid of a dedicated vision system, industrial robot accomplished visually acceptable door-chassis's assembly task. The alogorithm of the position detection of notch and 2 dimesional position correction algorithm are noteworthy. The obtained algorithms were satisfatorily implemented for a real door-chassis model.

In this paper, an iterative method is proposed to perform attenuation correction and image reconstruction simultaneously for positron emission tomography, by using the time-of-flight information. Numerical simulation results are presented to demonstrate an improved performance of the proposed method in attenuation correction and image reconstruction.

PET/CT 검사에서 환자의 움직임으로 인해 영상에서 냉소 인공물이 발생한다. 본 연구는 Discovery 600 PET/CT 장비의 산란제한보정법을 이용하여 영상을 평가하고 환자의 움직임으로 인한 냉소 인공물의 개선을 연구했다. Discovery 600 PET/CT 장비로 산란보정법과 산란제한보정법의 방사능 섭취와 표준섭취계수의 차이를 평가하기 위해 1994 NEMA Phantom$^{TM}$을 사용하였다. 또한 움직임에 의한 인공물을 재현하여 산란제한보정법을 적용한 방사능의 섭취 차이와 표준섭취계수의 차이를 비교 평가하였다. 산란제한보정법은 산란보정법과의 방사능 섭취, 표준섭취계수의 평가에서 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다(p<0.05). 그리고 환자의 움직임으로 인한 PET/CT 영상에서의 산란보정법을 적용한 영상은 방사능 섭취가 최대 3.1 kBq/ml에서 0.04 kBq/ml로 약 98.7% 과소평가되었다. 그러나, 산란제한보정법을 적용한 영상은 방사능 섭취가 최대 3.0 kBq/ml에서 2.11 kBq/ml로 약 30%만 과소평가되었다. 표준섭취계수는 1.05에서 0.006으로 약 98% 과소평가 되었으나, 산란제한보정법을 적용 후 0.67로 측정되어 약 25%만 과소평가되었다. 방사능의 섭취와 표준섭취계수에서 산란제한보정법은 산란보정법에 비해 약 60% 이상 개선 효과가 있었다. PET/CT 검사 시 환자의 움직임에 의한 냉소 인공물이 발생한 환자에서 산란제한보정법을 적용한다면, 정확한 진단에 도움을 줄 것으로 사료 된다.
