This study tested the hypothesis from the previous research issues and empirically investigated the determinants of cooperative strategy for technological innovation, using the multinomial logit model. The meaningful conclusions from this study are as follows. First, the characteristics of the company and product are not the significant determinants for cooperative strategy for technological innovation. Second, formal R&D organization characteristics are significant factors in determining the type of cooperative strategy for technological innovation. Third, the support of government is a significant determinant and if a company receives more government support, it is likely to accept public type cooperation. Fourth, the characteristics of industry are significant determinants and if a company belongs to a higher technology industry, it is likely to accept vertical type cooperation with private enterprises. This study analyzed the hypotheses raised in a variety of studies empirically. This paper presents the basis of various studies concerning technological cooperation strategies.

It has become difficult with R&D capabilities of single nation to secure the weapons systems we need, particularly when faced with an increasingly limited budget and transforming into state-of-the-art weapon systems. Therefore, our country is also pursuing international joint technology cooperation for the efficient use of limited defense budgets. In this study, we analyzed the strategy focused on international joint technology cooperation with India. We identified three groups based on the level of defense science and technology cooperation, then we also present a possible cooperation areas and implementation strategies for each group. In addition, we suggest the need for maintenance of the legal system, and professional organizations in order to efficiently access the Indian market.

The object of this study is to present a strategy against technology protectionism of advanced countries focusing on international cooperation policy of KIPO and infringement of overseas intellectual property rights on the notion that a policy performed without a long-term plan will not lead to industrial growth in the long run. There is a high possibility that aggressive patent policy and black box strategy of Japanese enterprise can be a burden to Korean enterprises. Thus, a policy should be established against the technology protectionism. The policy can be based on a strategy about international cooperation policy of KIPO and strategy against infringement of overseas intellectual property rights. Of course, collaboration and cooperation will be activated among the advanced countries including technical cooperation. However, a systematic strategy of intellectual property rights should be focused on international cooperation and countermeasure against infringement of overseas intellectual property rights because national interest takes precedence over any other interest especially in case of strategically owing industry. A strategy against technology protectionism of advanced countries is as follows. A strategy is required to cope with infringement of overseas intellectual property rights. Korean government has to strengthen the function of overseas intellectual property rights protection center, strengthen boundary restriction of infringement goods, promote international dispute study, train international dispute specialist, construct confidence as social capital etc. Enterprises have to maintain no Patent no Future policy, specialize on application and countermeasure against infringement dispute, participate for formation and standardization of patent pool, strive for specialization regarding technical transfer and license management.

Purpose - The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of the European Union's (EU) focus on innovation and consumption, after the EU Eastern enlargement, on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy, with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry. Research design, data, and methodology - This study compares the intersection of the pivotal areas in the markets in the "post-new normal" era to identify outlets to commercialize development and innovation in this region. The EU would like to realize potential trade and investment opportunities with the Central European Economic Community (CEEC) from this enlargement. Results - The study analysis suggests a positive impact for innovation and consumption from the EU Eastern enlargement on trade, investment, and technology cooperation patterns of Korea to formulate a pan-European marketing strategy with a special emphasis on the mobile phone industry or motorcar e-strategy. Conclusions - Due to the evolving close interdependencies some hubs have emerged between regional, small markets and the central, larger ones such as Germany and France.

Technology cooperation is a necessary factor for small and medium sized firms to be survived and developed because small and medium sized firms can make economy scale and economy scope by new advanced technologies obtained from technology cooperation. Therefore, the technology cooperation of small and medium sized firms can be thought as their specific resource. Due to the importance of technology cooperation, many previous studies paid an attention on its positive effect. Unlike the related studies, this study examined the link among uncertainty of technology environment, relationship characteristics(such as degree of technology cooperation and influential strategy), and relationship tie. The empirical results are reported as follows: Firstly, uncertainty of technology environment positively affected on degree of technology cooperation. Secondly, degree of technology cooperation positively affected on uncoercive influential strategies of both own firm and partner firm. Thirdly, degree of technology cooperation and uncoercive influential strategy of own firm have positive effects on relationship tie while uncoercive influential strategy of partner firm does not. The positive effect of uncoercive influential strategy of own firm means the importance of strategic countermeasures to promote relationship tie in technology cooperation of both own firm and partner firm.

Background: This study aimed to identify the role of dental hygienists in exchanges between North and South Korea to lower gaps in the level of dental healthcare between the two countries by conducting a Delphi survey with specialists and identifying alternative policies regarding the utilization of dental hygienists in such exchanges. Methods: Two Delphi surveys were conducted with the participation of nine specialists, and descriptive statistical analyses including mean and standard deviation were performed on the collected data. Results: Among methods of exchange and cooperation regarding oral healthcare under the current North Korean medical system, the issue considered most urgent was the "establishment of oral healthcare infrastructure." The most important short-term strategy was identified as the "selection and formation of partnerships in the field of inter-Korean oral health exchange and cooperation." The mid-term strategy was identified as the "establishment of cooperation in the dental industry, centered on educational cooperation projects." The long-term strategy included "joint R&D projects, oral health surveys, and business development." In order to determine how best to use dental hygienists during inter-Korean exchanges and cooperation, the respondents placed urgency on the "establishment of joint cooperation projects for oral health promotion and early examination and the treatment of dental diseases and planning of community research projects" and "the role of oral health education and media development for residents." Conclusion: Cooperation is necessary regarding the preparation of oral healthcare exchanges that aim to encourage unity between North and South Korea and reduce the gaps between the North and South regarding oral health conditions. Therefore, continuous and reasonable discussions and research are needed regarding the utilization of dental hygienists in such exchanges.

South Korea government has committed 1.3 percent for joint research projects research among total budget. The goal of this paper is to find Strategy for international technological participating particularly EU. This paper consists of six chapters. As interest in greenhouse gas reduction has increased in all sectors, the discussion of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to regulate pollution by ships is attracting attention in international shipping. At the 80th IMO MEPC held in July 2023, the 「2023 IMO Strategy for the Reduction of Green House Gases from Ships (MEPC. 377(80))」 was adopted, which included the net-zero target around 2050, and a firm intention to the decarbonization of the international shipping sector showed. In particular, energy, fuel and technology targets for zero or near-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 were added as new targets, and total greenhouse gas emission checkpoints for 2030 and 2040 were added as an indicator for achieving the 2050 target. The IMO's goal setting for 2030, which is about seven years away, will impose a lot of technical, economic, and political burden despite the decarbonization technology of international shipping, which has grown to a significant level in a short period of time. Accordingly, this paper presents the comprehensive impact of the 2023 IMO GHG Strategy on international shipping.

In multi robot environment, the action selection strategy is important for the cooperation and coordination of multi agents. The research is concerned with digitalization process and strategy of 'traditional industries'. Along with development of the Internet, new industries are emerging, while traditional industries are also rapidly shifting from old modes to new ones.
