  • 최근, 사람들의 의식 수준의 변화로 환경과 Well-being에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 일회용품을 줄이고자 노력하고 있으며, 건강한 신체를 유지하기 위한 방법으로 '물 다이어트'에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 많은 사람들은 물이나 음료를 마시기 위하여 휴대 가능한 텀블러를 이용하고 있으며, 특히 최근에는 사용자의 편의성을 높이기 위해 다양한 기능을 제공하는 보다 스마트한 형태로 진화되어 가고 있다. 기존의 연구에서는 음료를 '물'로 한정하고 있어 다양한 음료를 모니터링 하는 데에 한계가 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 IoT 기술을 활용하여 음료를 판단하고, 음료에 따른 섭취량을 모니터링 할 수 있는 스마트 텀블러를 제작하였다. 또한 음료를 마시지 않고 버리는 경우를 판단하여 더욱 정확한 섭취량의 측정이 가능하게 되었다. 여러 가지 IoT 기반 센서들의 데이터를 바탕으로 사용자는 전용 어플리케이션에서 각 음료에 따른 섭취량을 파악할 수 있고, 다양한 편의를 제공받을 수 있다.

  • Processed meat products play a vital role in our daily dietary intake due to their rich protein content and the inherent convenience they offer. However, they often contain synthetic additives and ingredients that may pose health risks when taken excessively. This review explores strategies to improve meat product quality, focusing on three key approaches: substituting synthetic additives, reducing the ingredients potentially harmful when overconsumed like salt and animal fat, and boosting nutritional value. To replace synthetic additives, natural sources like celery and beet powders, as well as atmospheric cold plasma treatment, have been considered. However, for phosphates, the use of organic alternatives is limited due to the low phosphate content in natural substances. Thus, dietary fiber has been used to replicate phosphate functions by enhancing water retention and emulsion stability in meat products. Reducing the excessive salt and animal fat has garnered attention. Plant polysaccharides interact with water, fat, and proteins, improving gel formation and water retention, and enabling the development of low-salt and low-fat products. Replacing saturated fats with vegetable oils is also an option, but it requires techniques like Pickering emulsion or encapsulation to maintain product quality. These strategies aim to reduce or replace synthetic additives and ingredients that can potentially harm health. Dietary fiber offers numerous health benefits, including gut health improvement, calorie reduction, and blood glucose and lipid level regulation. Natural plant extracts not only enhance oxidative stability but also reduce potential carcinogens as antioxidants. Controlling protein and lipid bioavailability is also considered, especially for specific consumer groups like infants, the elderly, and individuals engaged in physical training with dietary management. Future research should explore the full potential of dietary fiber, encompassing synthetic additive substitution, salt and animal fat reduction, and nutritional enhancement. Additionally, optimal sources and dosages of polysaccharides should be determined, considering their distinct properties in interactions with water, proteins, and fats. This holistic approach holds promise for improving meat product quality with minimal processing.

주거복지지표 개발에 관한 연구 II - 수요자 측면의 주거복지체감지표와 지수를 중심으로 - (Development of the Sentiment Indicators of Housing Welfare)

  • The aim of this research is to develop the sentiment indicators of housing welfare for evaluating housing welfare policies conducted by the Korean government. The methods of this research are used by analysis of related documents, FGI (Focus Group Interview), and survey. The survey was made by experts and consumers. To analyze the survey, this research also uses confirmatory factor analysis by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) program, AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) by Expert Choice program, frequency, average, percentages, Factor analysis etc. As a result of this research, selected housing welfare indicators are settled as follows: In the housing welfare aspect, 11 indicators in the department of 'Housing Satisfaction' and 11 indicators in the department of 'Community Satisfaction' (22 in total) are suggested. The indicators are 1) Water Supply and Distribution Equipment 2) Heating equipment 3) the size of the exclusive residential area 4) the number of rooms 5) Ventilation and Lighting 6) Sound Insulation (Indoor Noise) 7) Air Pollution/Odor 8) House Deposit 9) Rent Paid 10) Maintenance (Dwelling) Cost 11) The length of Occupation 12) Proximity to Welfare Facilities 13) Educational Environment 14) Convenience of Facilities (shops, hospitals etc.) 15) Convenience of Transportation and Commuting 16) Distance from Workplace 17) Landscape and Green Space (Tree, Flowers, Grass etc.) 18) Vandalism (Destruction Behavior, graffiti etc.) 19) Privacy 20) Noise in Public Places (Drinking, Loudly Talking etc.) 21) Safety from Crime 22) Safety from a Disaster. As of 2007, the housing welfare sentiment index is measured by the survey of 1,000 inhabitants in the public housing, which shows 3.51.

편리성 및 저장성이 증진된 구형과립 요구르트 제조 (Production of spherical granule type yogurt with improving convenience and preservation)

  • Probiotics로 알려진 유산균을 다량 포함하고 있으며 우유가 가지고 있는 영양성분을 함유한 액상형 요구르트를 사용하여, 저장성은 높지만 편리성이 낮은 분말형 요구르트의 단점을 개선한, 유동성 및 용해성이 우수한 구형과립 요구르트를 제조하였다. 구형과립 요구르트의 유동층코팅기 최적 제조조건은 반응표면분석방법(RSM design)을 이용하여 설정하였으며, feeding rate(FR) 0.54 mL/min, atomization air pressure(AP) 2.64 bar, product temperature(PT) $58.18^{\circ}C$의 유동층코팅기 운영조건하에서 최대회수율은 79.42%로 예측되었다. 유동층코팅기의 버텀스프레이 방식으로 제조된 구형과립 요구르트는 6-7 log CFU/g의 많은 유산균을 가지고 있었으며, 특히 상대습도 75% 및 저장온도 $25^{\circ}C$ 조건하에서 4개월 동안 유산균수의 감소가 아주 미미하여, 저장성 및 편리성이 증진된 새로운 형태의 유산균 제품 개발에 대한 가능성을 보여주었다.

에탄올베이스 드라이샴푸의 항균력과 피부안전성 (Antimicrobial Activity and Skin Safety of Ethanol-Based Dry Shampoo)

  • 본 연구에서는 거동이 불편한 환자와 바쁜 현대인들을 위하여 헹굼이 필요없는 에탄올베이스 드라이샴푸를 제조했다. 물로 헹구지 않는 드라이샴푸에는 저자극 세정원료의 적용이 필요하다. 이 실험에서 세정원료는 저자극 세정원료를 첨가하고 세정원료의 세포독성실험과 드라이샴푸의 피부자극, 항균효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 펜틸렌글리콜을 적용하여 제조한 에탄올베이스 드라이샴푸가 항균력을 갖고 피부에 가장 안전함을 확인 하였다. 또한 미용목적뿐만 아니라 위생적인 모발관리를 가능하게 하여 젖은 샴푸를 할 수 없는 상황에서도 청결과 위생, 안전성을 동시에 만족할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

텔레뷰어 암석강도 산출 및 그의 응용성 (Televiewer Rock Strength as an Approach to Estimate the Strength of in situ Rocks)

  • Televiewer is a logging tool capable of scanning the borehole wall. The tool uses a rotating acoustic beam generator that acts as both a transmitter and receiver. The beams are sent toward the wall. The amplitude of a returning signal from the wall has nearly a linear relationship with the reflection coefficient R of the borehole wall, when the wall is smooth. As R depends only on rock impedance for fixed water impedance, the amplitude is directly associated with mass density and seismic velocity of rock. Meanwhile, the amplitude can be further reduced by wall roughness that may be caused by drilling procedures, differences in rock hardness, because the rough surface can easily scatter the acoustic energy and sometimes the hole becomes elongated in all directions according to the degree of weathering. In this sense, the amplitude is related to the hardness of rocks. For convenience of analysis, the measured amplitude image(2-D data(azimuth ${\times}$ depth)) is converted, with an appropriate algorithm, to the 1-D data(depth), where the amplitude image values along a predetermined fracture signature(sinusoid) are summed up and averaged. The resulting values are subsequently scaled simply by a scalar factor that is possibly consistent with a known strength. This scaled Televiewer reflectivity is named, as a matter of convenience,“Televiewer rock strength”. This paper shows, based on abundant representative case studies from about 8 years of Televiewer surveys, that Televiewer rock strength might be regarded, on a continuous basis with depth, as a quitely robust indicator of rock classification and in most cases as an approximate uniaxial strength that is comparable to the rebound value from Schmidt hammer test.

광주광역시에 거주하는 재한 중국유학생의 식생활 분석 (Analysis of Dietary Lifestyle of Chinese Students in Gwangju)

  • With the globalization of Korean education and the rise in the average level of education, the number of international students in Korea, especially those from China, is rapidly increasing every year. This study aimed to provide the basic information for healthy dietary education by evaluating the dietary and nutritional status of Chinese students living in Gwangju province of Korea. Data from 468 subjects who met the study participation criteria and who had given their written informed consent were used for analysis. Of the total subjects, 52.4 and 80.1% were non-drinkers and non-smokers, respectively (p<0.01). It was observed that women were more stressed than men when they did not have convenient access to a Chinese food market near their place of residence (p=0.032). The subjects with a high cultural adaptation consumed kimbap (p<0.001) and pizza (p=0.017) more frequently than the subjects with a low cultural adaptation. An analysis of the nutrient quotient revealed that male scores were higher than those of the females with regard to water intake (p=0.035) and exercise level (p=0.021). For Chinese students living in Korea to maintain proper dietary habits, it is necessary to educate them on how to purchase convenience foods and improve their lifestyle, including limiting drinking and smoking. It is also necessary to develop emotional support programs for stress management and cultural adaptation.

인덕션 안전성 향상을 위한 기능보조 디바이스 개발 (Development of Functional Auxiliary Device to Improve Induction Safety)

  • 최근 음식 문화생활은 소비자들이 직접 요리를 하는 트렌드로 변화하고 있으며 인덕션 조리기구의 사용비율이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 요리 인구 증가에 따른 요리의 편리성을 향상하도록 인덕션 조리기구의 안전성 개선을 위한 기능보조 디바이스 개발을 제안한다. 제안한 디바이스는 앱을 통해 IoT와 연동된다. 앱을 통해 디바이스는 인덕션의 화력 조절과 시간 예약을 제어할 수 있다. 또한, 조리 시 용기의 물 넘침을 방지하기 위해 초음파 센서를 사용하고, 미세먼지 측정 센서를 통해 사용자가 안전하게 인덕션을 사용할 수 있다. 제작한 디바이스를 통해 실제 조리 상황을 가정하여 연구를 진행한다. 본 연구는 디바이스를 통해 조리 시에 사용자의 피로감을 줄이고 초과 조리, 또는 물 넘침과 같은 위급상황 시에 사용자를 위한 안전성 개선을 확인하였다.

계획형 생태마을의 공간구성 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Space Organization of Planned-Ecovillage)

  • In this paper, we analyze the existing ecovillages in order to establish a planned-ecovillage model to suggest improvement in direction of ecovillage planning; namely, efficiency of planning elements through analysis of changes in ecovillages. Changes to living environment require increased relaxation and convenience to ensure quality of life. Unlike general ecovillages, planned-ecovillages differ in their introduction of planning elements by autonomous decision-making through discussions and meetings among residents. In the village planning process, complex planning, community facilities, ecology-base facilities, water-resource utilization, and waste disposal can waver from initial planning, giving rise to realistic alternatives to village characteristics for those considering changes to space organization.

타일의 3차소성 재료와 디자인 (The Material and design of third firing tile)

  • Nowadays tiles are widely used as architectual material because of their external beauty, solidity with fire-resisting and water-resisting qualities, and convenience for construction, preservation and repairs. Owing to the improvement of living standard and makers scramble for tile markets, we regard tiles as art and culture. Tiles have been developed with technical improvement, based on mutual relation of material and design. The purpose of the third firing is to create high value added as we show artistic merit and decorative effect. For this reason, researches on new material and design have been carried out widely. I made researches whole process from design to printing by means of computer and experiment with color and vetroza of the third firing. I hope that tile makers will share the achievement of university researchers and this paper will be useful for those who are interested in tiles.
