A study on the microstep control of stepping motors (스텝모우터의 미세스텝 제어에 관한 연구)

  • An accurate mathematical model of permanent magnet stepping motor is proposed. On the basis of this model, micro-stepping control is experimented. A comparison is made between the Data experimented by micro-stepping control and the data predicted by the proposed model and by Leenhouts' earlier model. The result shows that the proposed model is more accurate than the earlier model, and micro-stepping can be attained by dividing a given step electrically, without adding much complexity to the control circuit, or degrading the speed of stepping motors.

  • In this study a MRAC(model reference adaptive control) for fluid power elevator model system was designed. The MRAC was compared with PI control in case of applying to the elevator model system with constant external load and changing external load. In this case external load was produced by a single fluid power cylinder combined with pressure control valve. In conclusion the MRAC control performance was better than PI control performance because overshoot and steady state error of the elevator model system controlled by the MRAC were not appeared for constant and changing external load.

  • Until now various model matching systems have been proposed for linear system, but very little has been done for nonlinear system In this paper, a design method of discrete time flight control system using nonlinear model matching is proposed. This method is based on Hirschorn's algorithm and facilitates easy determination of the control law using the relationship, between the output and the input, which is obtained by the time shift of the output. Also as a result, this method is the extension of the linear model matching control system proposed by Wolovich, in which the control law is obtained by left-multiplying the output by the interactor matrix. At the end of paper, the proposed control system is applied to CCV flight control system of an aircraft and the feasibility of the proposed approach is shown by the numerical simulations.

  • The feedback control scheme of the pressure control system of the rear wheel steering gear which has relatively large volume and sprung load was built up in order to improve th response characteristic of the system. The control algorithm chosen was a feedback compensator joined by a feedfoward compensator and the model matching method was used in the process of control system design. The structures and properties of the reference models were inspected and the parameters of the controller were decided. The improvement of the response characteristic of the pressure control valve by means of the feedback control is affirmed. Particularly, when the order of the system model is higher than the 2nd order, the effectiveness of the feedback control on the improvement of the response characteristic of the valve is distinct. And the convenience of the model matching method is the process of control system design is confirmed as well.

  • RBAC(Role Based Access Control) is an access control method based on the user's roles and it provides more flexibility and applicability on the various computer and network security fields than DAC(Discretionary Access Control) or MAC(Mandator Access Control). In this paper, e newly propose ERBAC\ulcorner(Extended RBAC\ulcorner) model by considering subject's and object's roles and security levels for roles additionally to RBAC\ulcorner model which is firstly proposed by Ravi S. Sandhu as a base model. The proposed ERBAC\ulcorner model provides finer grained access control with multilevel security on he base of subject and object level than RBAC\ulcorner model.

  • Fieldbus provides a real-time data communication among field devices in the process control and manufacturing automation systems. In this paper, a Petri Net model of the 1993 draft of IEC/ISA fieldbus which is proposed as an international standard of fieldbus network is developed. Based on the Petri Net model, discrete-event simulation model of IEC/ISA fieldbus network is developed. This paper evaluates the network induced delay in the data link layer of IEC/ISA fieldbus using the simulation model. In addition, an integrated discrete-event/continuous-time simulation model of fieldbus system and distributed control system is developed. This paper investigates the real-time data processing capability of IEC/ISA fieldbus and the effect of network-induced delay to the performance of control system.

  • This paper combines the constrained model predictive control with the feedback linearization to solve a nonlinear system control problem with input constraints. The combined approach consists of two steps: Firstly, the nonlinear model is linearized by the feedback linearization. Secondly, based on the linearized model, the constrained model predictive controller is designed taking input constraints into consideration. The proposed controller is applied to two link robot system, and tracking performances of the controller are investigated via some simulations, where the comparisons are done for the cases of unconstrained, constrained input in feedback linearization.

  • Cloud computing is the concept of providing information technology services on the Internet, such as software, hardware, networking, and storage. These services can be accessed anywhere at any time on a pay-per-use basis. However, storing data on servers is a challenging aspect of cloud computing. This paper utilizes cryptography and access control to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and proper control of access to sensitive data. We propose a model that can protect data in cloud computing. Our model is designed by using an enhanced RSA encryption algorithm and a combination of role-based access control model with extensible access control markup language (XACML) to facilitate security and allow data access. This paper proposes a model that uses cryptography concepts to store data in cloud computing and allows data access through the access control model with minimum time and cost for encryption and decryption.

  • This paper describes an integrated control of torque vectoring and rear wheel steering using model predictive control. The control objective is to minimize the yaw rate and body side slip angle errors with chattering alleviation. The proposed model predictive controller is devised using a linear parameter-varying (LPV) vehicle model with real time estimation of the varying model parameters. The proposed controller has been investigated via computer simulations. In the simulation results, the performance of the proposed controller has been compared with uncontrolled cases. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the lateral stability and handling performance.

  • The paper proposes reference model error feedback control scheme for motion control system with hard non-linear components as like saturation and dead-zone in plant input part. Additionally, the plant has the system uncertainty effected by plant model parameter deviation and disturbance. The control algorithm uses the reference model to apply additional feedback loop with the error between reference model output and actual output effected by disturbance and non-linear components. And the stability evaluation based on Popov stability and controller design method are formulated to be performed. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is examined by simulations. The results are proven by reasonable performances following reference model responses with good disturbance rejection performance without over-tuning of controller.
