The purpose of the study is to analyze the sensitivity of the parameters that affect the runoff and water quality in the studied drainage basins. SWMM model is applied to the four drainage basins located at Namgazwa and Sanbon in Seoul and Gray Haven and Kings Creek in the USA. first of all, the optimum values of the parameters which have least simulation error to the observed data, are detected by iteration procedure. These are used as the standard values which are compared against the procedure. These are used as the standard values which are compared against the varied parameter values. In order to catch the effectiveness of the parameters to the computing result, the parameters are changed step by setp, and the results are compared to the standard results in flowerate and quality of the sewer. The study indicates that the discharge is greatly affected by the types of runoff surface, i.e., impervious area remarkably affects the peak flow and runoff volume while the surface storage affects the runoff volume at mild sloped basins. In addition, the major parameters affecting the pollution concentrations and loadings are the contaminant accumulation coefficient per unit area per time and the continuous dry weather days. Furthermore, the factors that affect the water quality during the initial rainfall period are the rainfall intensity, transport capacity coefficient and its power coefficient. Consequently, in order to simulate the runoff-water quality, it is needed to evaluate previous data in the research performed for the studied basins. To accurately estimated from the tributary areas and the rational computation methods of the pollutants calculation should be introduced.

As the distributed model is developed and widely used, the accuracy of a rainfall measurement and more dense rainfall observation network are required for the reflection of various spatial properties. However, in reality, it is not easy to get the accurate data from dense network. Generally, we could not have the proper rainfall gages in space and even we have proper network for rainfall gages it is not easy to reflect the variations of rainfall in space and time. Often, we do also have missing rainfall data at the rainfall gage stations due to various reasons. We estimate the distribution of mean areal rainfall data from the point rainfalls. So, in the aspect of continuous rainfall property in time, we should fill the missing rainfall data then we can represent the spatial distribution of rainfall data. This study uses the Fuzzy-Genetic algorithm as a interpolation method for filling the missing rainfall data. We compare the Fuzzy-Genetic algorithm with arithmetic average method, inverse distance method, normal ratio method, and ratio of distance and elevation method which are widely used previously. As the results, the previous methods showed the accuracy of 70 to 80 % but the Fuzzy-Genetic algorithm showed that of 90 %. Especially, from the sensitivity analysis, we suggest the values of power in the equation for filling the missing data according to the distance and elevation.

Purpose : Syncope appears to be common. However, the mechanism of syncope is not clear. Increased vagal activity and withdrawal of sympathetic stimulation cause hypotension, bradycardia and finally loss of consciousness. The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes of cerebral blood flow velocity, blood pressure, and heart rate during tilt test in children with vasovagal syncope. Methods : Sixty four children with a past history of syncope were evaluated. The stand up test was performed for 15 minutes after a rest at supine position for 10 minutes, followed by an $80^{\circ}$ tilt test lasting 45 minutes. If presyncope(lightheadedness, nausea, blurred vision, or sweating) or syncope occurred, the study was discontinued. 12-lead electrocardiography, echocardiography, and electroencephalography were performed. Transcranial Doppler study was performed at the middle cerebral artery with 2 MHz continuous Doppler probe in 10 children with positive tilt test. Systolic, diastolic, mean cerebral blood flow velocity, integral, and pulsatility index were measured with blood pressure, heart rate, and $O_2$ saturation. Results : The positive rate of tilt test was 31.3%(20/64). Systolic, diastolic, and mean cerebral blood flow velocity decreased significantly in absence of hypotension or bradycardia during presyncope. Time velocity integral of cerebral artery also decreased significantly. Conclusion : Decreased cerebral blood flow velocity can predict the presyncope manifestation. Impairment of autoregulation of cerebral blood flow might play an important role in the pathophysiology of vasovagal syncope.

Exploratory data analysis was carried out by using the long-term wave climate data in Sokcho coastal zone. The main features found in this study are as follows. The coefficient of variations on the wave height and period are about 0.11 and 0.02, respectively. It also shows that the annual components of the wave height and period are dominant and their amplitudes are 0.24 m and 0.56 seconds, respectively. The amount of intra-annual variation range is about two times greater than that of the inter-annual variation range. The distribution shapes of the wave data are very similar to the log-normal and GEV(generalized extreme value) functions. However, the goodness-of-fit tests based on the KS test show as "rejected" for all suggested density functions. Then, the structure of the timeseries wave height data is roughly estimated as AR(3) model. Based on the wave duration results, it is clearly shown that the continuous and maximum duration is decreased as a power function shape and the total duration is exponentially decreased. Meanwhile, the environment of the Sokcho coastal zone is classified as a wave-dominated environment.
Purpose - This research identifies the meaning of the core capability level of Car Master and the reason why its service at the Moment of Truth should be demonstrated through empirical cases. It can be seen that this study differs from existing research because it proposes that the recognized core capability level to achieve customer satisfaction should focus on the mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality. This paper examines the effect of Car Master's recognized core capability level on customer satisfaction by using the variables mentioned above. Moreover, this study uses regression analysis to verify that the mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality on Car Master's capability level achieves customer satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - First, we present evidence that could apply to Car Master's recognized core capability level by detailing the relationship between customer satisfaction and a structuring factor for Car Master's core capability level. Our proposed research model observes the relationship between the structuring factor of core capability and customer satisfaction. Second, we had an opportunity to define how the core capability and Moment of Truth quality affect customer satisfaction by performing empirical analysis on the partial mediating effect of Moment of Truth quality at a recognized core capability level and Moment of Truth quality affecting customer satisfaction. Results - First, the results indicate that Car Master's recognized core capability level (product professionalism, marketing skill, and reliability) positively affects customer satisfaction. Second, the results show that an ability to listen and a sense of dedication positively affect customer satisfaction, and are among the Moment of Truth quality factors; but performance capability, which is one of the Moment of Truth quality factors, does not positively affect customer satisfaction. These results clearly differ from prior studies focused on Moment of Truth quality and consumer satisfaction. Third, the results show that Moment of Truth quality has a partial mediating effect in terms of the impact of Car Master's recognized core capability level in achieving consumer satisfaction. Conclusions - This research indicates that the company will be able to expand if they investigate and show an interest in more training and education for Car Master. The study verified that outstanding Car Masters show differentiated performance on customer satisfaction at the Moment of Truth in various instances. Thus, we believe that this is the time for a discussion on systematic and empirically recognized core capability levels and the Moment of Truth quality. The study on Car Master's recognized core capability level offers suitable solutions for Car Masters to respond to customers at the Moment of Truth. Further, this study emphasizes the importance of service as a critical factor having a direct relationship with the company's success and failure and contributing to building trust with the customer. Thus, an investment in continuous education and training for Car Master will help the growth of the business.
SNS has been emerged as an effective educational tool in college and many studies on various teaching models and methodologies have been made in order to utilize SNS in education. The purpose of this paper is to empirically investigate the effect of affecting factors of SNS on learner's attitude, intention to re-use and performance in converging college educational environment. Self-efficacy on media usage, educational expectancy, subjective norm, habit, and enjoyment were identified as affecting factors based on prior researches. An empirical analysis was attempted by survey targeting college students. The results of structural equation model using Smart PLS shows that educational expectancy, subjective norm, and enjoyment are significantly related to the learner's attitude on use of SNS in college education, but Self-efficacy on media usage and habit are not. Learner's attitude on SNS in college education was found to be significantly related to the intention to continuous use and performance. This study implicates that using SNS in university class makes learner's attitude positively and finally lead to good performance. The analysis results can provide a guideline of effective strategy for SNS utilization in college education.
Collaboration has become essential in the product design process due to internationalized and specialized business environments. This study presents a real-time collaborative 3D design workspace for distributed designers, focusing on the development and the evaluation of new interaction techniques supporting nonverbal communication such as awareness of participants, shared manipulation and tele-presence. Requirements were identified in terms of shared objects, shared workspaces and awareness through literature reviews and an observational study. An Augmented Reality based collaborative design workspace was developed, in which two main interaction techniques, Turn-table and Virtual Shadow, were incorporated to support shared manipulation and tele-presence. Turn-table provides intuitive shared manipulation of 3D models and physical cues for awareness of remote participants. Virtual shadow supports natural and continuous awareness of location, gestures and pointing of partners. A lab-based evaluation was conducted and the results showed that interaction techniques effectively supported awareness of general pointing and facilitated discussion in 3D model reviews. The workspace and the interaction techniques can facilitate more natural communication and increase the efficiency of collaboration on virtual 3D models between distributed participants (designer-designer, engineer, or modeler) in collaborative design environments.
This study was to minimize the trial and error in the primary step of the C4I system(ATCIS) of the each army corps on the front line, and test the economy and efficiency was tested by reviewing related papers and the system characteristics of other countries. The relationship was researched by analyzing the collected survey data and survey data related to the user's requirement level such as the army standards, that is, commonality, timeliness, simplification, automaticity, field availability and viability, multi-stage security and interoperability, unification. The result showed that the C4I system was efficiently operated through the system reliability for the specification of the system and operation manual, maneuverability and security, adaptability of the war field and system support and management, and good education and training about system operation, and less system maintenance and supplementary element. As a result, the development plan confirmed that the continuous operator education and the construction of the maintenance, and the upgrade digitalization(C4ISR+D) with the korean characteristics based on IT of network systems, and system development of the measurement model of the operator performance must be continuously supplemented in the near future.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the statistical data to get the government to have positive recognition of education for middle-aged and aged people about provision for old age after retirement and present a model of policy direction of realistic elderly education for middle-aged and aged people and an ideal program for middle-aged and aged people in Korea. Such an empirical research obtained the following results. First, as for effects of recognition of the need of elderly education and the desire to participate in elderly education on provision for retirement, the need of elderly education and the desire to participate in elderly education were found to have effects. Second, as for effects of the level of retirement expectation on provision for retirement, new departure, career completion, and continuous expectation were found to have effects. Third, as for mediating effects of retirement expectation in terms of effects of recognition of the need of elderly education and the level of desire for participation, the need of elderly education has retirement expectation partly affect physical, psychological, and economic preparation. As for the desire to participate in elderly education, expectation of retirement had completely mediating effects on physical preparation and partly mediating effects on psychological and economic preparation. Fourth, the need of elderly education, the desire for participation, retirement expectation, and recognition of provision for retirement by general properties were found to have statistically significant results in terms of gender, age, occupation, and educational background.
To maximize the performance of recombinant cell fermentation process through optimizing environmental conditions, the production of invertase from recombinant Saccharomyces cerebisiae Containing SUC2 gene was studied as a model. The recombinant cells showed biphasic growth on glucose. Since the promoter of the SUC2 is regulated by the concentration of glucose in the medium, expression of invertase by recombinant yeast began when the glucose concentration decreased in a range of 0.25-0.4 g/L during the batch culture. Plasmid segregation occured frequently during glucose fermentation, and infrequently during ethanol oxidation. A rapid appearance of invertase activity with glucose was observed under nonaerated condition, and the maximum specific invertase activity was about 1.5 times as high as under aerobic condition, In fed batch culture, when n low level of glucose was continuously supplied to the tormentor after the time of glucose depletion during growth phase, specific and total invertase activity increased about 1.7 and 2.9 fold, respectively, in a batch culture.
