In this paper we present a framework for a novel kind of context-aware preference query composition whereby queries for the Preference SQL system are created. We choose a commercial e-business platform for outdoor activities as a use case and develop a context model for this domain within our framework. The suggested model considers explicit user input, domain-specific knowledge, contextual knowledge and location-based sensor data in a comprehensive approach. Aside from the theoretical background of preferences, the optimization of preference queries and our novel generator based model we give special attention to the aspects of the implementation and the practical experiences. We provide a sketch of the implementation and summarize our user studies which have been done in a joint project with an industrial partner.

In the field of software reuse, several methods for storage and retrieval of assets abound. However, these methods often find their limits; they fail to turn up the suitable reusable assets that satisfy the needs of a particular software system under development. Two problems are the root cause of this situation. One is the lack of accurate semantics for describing software assets. The other is the ignorance of the user query context. In such a context, this paper presents an XML-based asset representation model for describing all kinds of software asset that can be reused within software development process. The proposed model provides semantic metadata for describing assets oriented user context in order to build the foundation for semantic reasoning in the retrieval process.

This paper proposed context based annotation model and annotation ambiguity correction methods. The proposed model provides various annotation types, semantic models, and pen-based free drawing interface. Annotation correction method that is specifically based on the context which includes various textual and structure information between free-form marking and annotation. Also, interface for XML environment using the proposed model and correction methods is proposed and possibilities of application is looked at. The results from the implementation of the proposed method show that the annotated areas included in the free-form marking information are more accurate, achieving more accurate exchange results amongst multiple users in a heterogeneous document environment

센서네트워크(Sensor Network)기반의 웹 기반 기술과 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술의 급속한 발전으로 인해, 일반인은 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경에서 다양한 형태의 데이터와 정보를 생산, 제공 및 공유할 수 있게 되었다. 공간정보분야에서는 지오 센서네트워크(Geosensor Network)와 공간 비공간 데이터 융합처리기술이 결합된 GIS(Geographic Information System)를 이용하여 공간정보 서비스를 제공하는 연구가 진행 중이다. 하지만, 방대한 양을 가지는 웹 데이터와 센서데이터를 GIS 데이터와 연계하여, 사용자 맞춤형 정보를 생성하기 위해서는 상황인지모델 기반의 정보제공이 필요하다. 상황인지 서비스는 사용자의 개입을 최소화하면서, 사용자 상황에 맞는 적절한 정보를 제공하는 것을 의미한다. 이를 위해 상황인지모델은 센서네트워크와 모바일 기기에서 취득된 데이터들의 특성과 연관성을 모델링하고, 사용자의 위치와 관심지역의 상황에 맞는 정보를 제공한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상황인지모델 기반의 GIS 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 대기환경 데이터와 모바일 데이터를 취득하고 분석된 결과를 대기환경정책에 반영함으로써, 시민의 환경의식을 높이고 공동참여를 활성화하도록 설계되었다.

There are a variety of users and devices in a context-aware computing environment. In this environment, the service provided to a user may be the composition of diverse services rather than one independent service. Before user's devices provide the composite service to the user, they should perceive user's needs by gathering related information segments from other surrounding devices and/or sensors. We consider a context-aware computing environment providing composite and adapted service to users and propose an information processing model that characterizes the device where the collected data should be processed through services and/or applications. Based on this model, we provide an analytical tool to obtain some performance measures of the context-aware computing environment.

이 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 정보 보안 문제를 접근 제어 기법을 중심으로 두가지 방식에 대한 연구 형태를 분석 고찰하며, 기존 연구들의 장단점을 비교하여 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 상황 인식 서비스 플랫폼 개발시 핵심적으로 고려해야할 중요 요소를 설계할 때 필요한 레퍼런스를 제안한다. 첫 번째는, 유비쿼터스 환경에서 역할 기반 접근 제어 방식을 적용하는데 문제점을 상황 정보를 활용하여 해결하는 연구 방향에 대한 고찰이다. 두 번째는, 유비쿼터스 환경에서 상황 정보는 개인의 정보 보호에 관련해 중요한 사항이므로, 여기에 역할 기반 접근 제어 방법을 적용하여 해결하는 연구이다. 이러한 두 가지 연구 방향은 상황 인식 서비스 플랫폼 설계시 중요하게 고려해야 할 사항이다.

Privacy and security are latent problems in pervasive healthcare system. For the sake of protecting health monitoring information, it is necessary to classify and categorize the various contexts in terms of obfuscation. In this paper, we propose the physiological context categorization and specification methodology by exploiting data fusion network for automatic context alignment. In addition, we introduce the methodologies for making various level of physiological context on the context aware application model, which is wear-UCAM. This physiological context has several layers of context according to the level of abstraction such as user-friendly level or parametric level. This mechanism facilitates a user to restrict access to his/her monitoring results based on the level of details in context.

문맥의존 철자오류의 교정 방법은 크게 규칙을 이용한 방법과 통계 정보에 기반을 둔 방법으로 나뉘며, 이중 통계적 오류 교정 방법을 중심으로 연구가 진행되었다. 통계적 오류 방법은 문맥의존 철자오류 문제를 어의 중의성 해소 문제로 간주한 방법으로서, 교정 대상 어휘와 대치 후보 어휘로 이루어진 교정 어휘 쌍을 문맥에 따라 분류하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 본 연구진의 기존 연구 결과인 교정 어휘 쌍을 이용한 확률 모델의 성능 향상을 위해 어절 n-gram 모델을 기존 모델에 결합하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 결합 모델은 각 모델을 통해 계산된 문장의 확률을 보간(interpolation)하는 방법과 각각의 모델을 차례대로 적용하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 두 가지 결합 모델 모두 기존 모델이나 어절 n-gram만 이용한 모델보다 높은 정확도와 재현율을 보인다.

In the first part an overview on fuzzy sets and fuzzy numbers is given. A detailed treatment of these notions is introduced in [1,2,3]. This sintetically presentation is useful in understanding and in developping the applications in context problems. In the second part, fuzzy context model is given as an application of fuzzy sets and the fuzzy equilibrium equation is solved [4,5].

본 논문은 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 컴퓨팅 환경에서 이루어지고 있던 기존의 확률 중심의 사용자 패턴 인식에 의한 서비스를 제공하는 방식과는 다른 컨텍스트(context)들이 동적으로 변화하는 상황에 능동적으로 대처하는 통합 컨텍스트 인지 모델을 제안한다. 사용자에게 가장 익숙하고 보편적인 환경인 홈에서 얻어 낼 수 있는 다양한 정보들을 통합 분석한 정보를 이용하여 사용자에게 개별화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 통합 컨텍스트 인지 모델을 제안한다.
