  • The aim of this research is to analyze the items of the Secondary School Teacher's Placement Test(SSTPT) which was submitted for 8 years from 2009 to 2016 according to' detailed criteria of SSTPT'. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, according to the analysis of items which were covered for the last 8 years, it was found that there was little difference between the evaluation area, the evaluation content elements, and the questionnaires since the questions presented in the 12 items of 12 evaluation areas and 42 of 43 evaluation contents. Second, each of the items in the 8-year questionnaire are as follows. Home economics and education 93 times (32.7%), dietary life 43 times (15.2%), family life 41 times (14.4%), clothing 41 times (14.4%), housing life 34 times (12.0%), consumer life 31 times (11.3%). This shows that there is not a large difference between the basic curriculum subjects of the content education and the ratio of question items. Third, the content elements of evaluation categorized by frequency of questionnaires for 8 years are as follows. Home economics and education mainly covers 'the methodology of teaching and learning,' Family life, 'human development,' Consumer life, 'the understanding of household economics and financial management' and 'consumer decision making,' Dietary life, 'cooking principle and practice' and 'management of dietary life,' Clothing life, 'clothing and household goods production,' Housing life, 'the understanding if residential living.' Based on these results, all the areas set in the evaluation area and content should be treated equally, and qualitative item analysis is necessary from a microscopic point of view.

  • This study was conducted to define a characteristics of Electrical Resistivity of weathered soil against volumetric water content and frequency. It is essential to analyze and understand a characteristics of the Electrical Resistivity for evaluation of soil as subsurface contaminant detection. Before the test, an effect of pore water and ion were checked using four liquids(distilled water, tap water, potassium chloride 1.8mM, and 3.7mM). As a result, the correlation between the volumetric water content and the Electrical Resistivity was estimated. The Electrical Resistivity decreases with increasing frequency and water content. Also, Electrical Resistivity could be described by an exponential function of volumetric water content with the constants.

  • Recently, a number of solutions were proposed to address the challenges and issues of vehicular networks. Vehicular Cloud Computing (VCC) is one of the solutions. The vehicular cloud computing is a new hybrid technology that has a remarkable impact on traffic management and road safety by instantly using vehicular resources. In this paper, we study an important vehicular cloud service, content-based delivery, that allows future vehicular cloud applications to store, share and search data totally within the cloud. We design a VCC-based system architecture for efficient sharing of vehicular contents, and propose a Hierarchical Hybrid Content Delivery scheme using Bloom Filter (H2CDBF) for efficient vehicular content delivery in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). The performance of the proposed H2CDBF is evaluated through an analytical model, and is compared to the proactive content discovery scheme, Bloom-Filter Routing (BFR).

  • The unit-water content has a major problem in concrete structures which leads to micro cracks on the concrete during drying time. Thus, the compressive strength and durability of the concrete structures are significantly reduced. Several techniques have been developed to measure the unit-water content in concrete structures such as heating drying, unit volume mass, and capacitance measurements. However, these techniques have problems in during measurement such as longer time, expensive and difficult in analysis of data. Frequency Domain Reflectivity (FDR) is one of the sensors which used to measure the water content. This method has several advantages including easy to measure, inexpensive, and capable of measuring moisture in real time. In this study, an attempt has been made to evaluate the unit-water content in concrete using the FDR sensor and interpret the data with deep learning method.

  • This methodological research was designed to develop performance evaluation key indicators (PEKIs) for management by objectives (MBO) and to estimate their weights for hospital nurses. Methods: The PEKIs were developed by selecting preliminary indicators from a literature review, examining content validity and identifying their level of importance. Data were collected from November 14, 2007 to February 18, 2008. Data set for importance of indicators was obtained from 464 nurses and weights of PEKIs domain was from 453 nurses, who worked for at least 2 yr in one of three hospitals. Data were analyzed using $X^2$-test, factor analysis, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process. Results: Based upon Content Validity Index of .8 or above, 61 indicators were selected from the 100 preliminary indicators. Finally, 40 PEKIs were developed from the 61 indicators, and categorized into 10 domains. The highest weight of the 10 domains was customer satisfaction, which was followed by patient education, direct nursing care, profit increase, safety management, improvement of nursing quality, completeness of nursing records, enhancing competence of nurses, indirect nursing care, and cost reduction, in that order. Conclusion: PEKIs and their weights can be utilized for impartial evaluation and MBO for hospital nurses. Further research to verify PEKIs would lead to successful implementation of MBO.
