한의학에서 근거중심진료와 표준화의 필요성 - 2008, 2011, 2014년 한방의료이용실태조사(보건복지부)중 소비자의견을 중심으로 - (The Need for Evidence-Based Treatment and Standardization in Korean Medicine - Focusing on Consumer Opinions from the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Survey on Usage of Korean Medicine (2008, 2011, and 2014) -)

  • Objectives : It focuses on what the consumers expected Korean medicine to improve on, and analyzes patients' impressions. Methods : This research is based on the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Survey on Usage of Korean Medicine (2008, 2011, and 2014) and was new analysis for our research objective. Results : The general consensus among the consumers was uncertainty of effectiveness, expensive costs, side effects, need for expertise, lack of scientific evidence, expansion of diseases treated, and improvement of equipment. Consumers distrusted Korean medicine due to its uncertainty of its effectiveness, expensive costs, side effects, and lack of scientific evidence for its effectiveness, and avoided using Korean medicine. Conclusions : These results seem to be a combination of the Korean medicinal doctors treating patients not based on evidence but on their individual experiences, lack of health insurance for Korean medicine resulting in expensive costs, lack of research on toxicity and safety of Korean medicine, and lack of scientific and clinical studies for evidence-based research. To solve these problems, the Korean medicine community needs to standardize treatments based on evidence, and look to Chinese medicine for possible solutions.

The Perspective of Forest Certification in South Korea: Case Study of Questionnaire for Forest Products Manufacturers and Consumers

  • This study was conducted in the spring of 2005 through personal interviews to examine the opinions of forest products manufacturers and consumers about the perspective of forest certification in South Korea and to characterize those consumers who expect the activation of a forest certification system in South Korea. Study results indicated that consumers showed more positive aspect for the activation of forest certification than forest products manufacturers. Respondents who had a negative view for establishing a forest certification system in South Korea pointed out a lack of customers' demand for certified wood products as the most important reason. Results also showed that, even when a forest certification system would be introduced as a possible policy for helping to attain sustainable forest management, it would take at least 5 to 10 years to establish a forest certification system in South Korea. To facilitate the establishment of the system, many respondents suggested that an increased public awareness of forest certification systems was the most required precedent condition, and government for manufacturers and forest management association for consumers had to certify forest management practices as a competent organization. A profile of consumers who expected the activation of a forest certification system would describe in relative terms as the highly educated female who interviewed in the city of Seoul and of the 20 age bracket. Although there were an increased public awareness and positive prospective of forest certification by consumers and forest products manufacturers, it is required to arouse much more interest of consumers about the system.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자동차오디오에서 재생된 음향의 음질에 대한 청취자의 주관적인 선호도를 객관화된 설문 등을 통하여 측정하고 그 결과를 통계적으로 분석하여 일반화시키는 것이다. 직교배열법을 사용하여 여덟 가지 음향특성들의 조합으로 이루어진 음향 환경을 객관적으로 재현하였으며, SD 7점 척도를 사용하여 청취자의 주관적 음질 선호도를 객관화시켰다. 재생된 음향의 음질에 대한 여러 청취자들의 선호도를 다변량 분산분석법을 이용하여 분석한 후, 일반적으로 전체 음질의 선호도를 결정짓는 음향특성을 찾아냈으며, 각각의 음질 선호도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 개별 음향 특성을 찾아내었다.

20대 여성의 유행색 수용도가 의복구매에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Twenties Women's Fashion Color Reception on Clothing Purchase)

  • The purposes of this study are to examine the relation between twenties women consumer's fashion-color reception and clothing purchase behaviors, and to propose the most effective plans of color-marketing. A questionnaire survey examined 384 persons' opinions in total. First, consumers are classified into 3 groups. according to their preferring colors and the degrees of their concerning : 'type of leading fashion-color', 'type of following fashion-color', and 'type of being indifferent to fashion-color'. Second, this study analyzed the factors of consumers' clothes-purchasing motives. : all consumer groups showed their purchasing motives in the order of 'aesthetic sense'-pursuit factor. 'sensitivity'-pursuit factor, and 'actual profit and sociality'-pursuit factor. Third, the types of consumers' purchasing clothes were divided into 2 groups: type of planned buying. And type of unplanned buying. And the relations between the above 2 groups and purchasing motives were investigated, as a result. it was proved that the consumers who have the purchasing motives of 'sensitivity'-pursuit and 'actual profit and sociality'-pursuit conducted 'planned buying'. Fourth. the relations between motive of clothing purchase and the type of purchase behavior were examined by consumer group : in the consumer group of leading fashion-color, the more did they have the purchasing motives of 'sensitivity'-pursuit or 'actual profit and sociality'-pursuit, the more did they conduct' planned buying'. In the fashion-color following group, the more did they have the purchasing motives of 'sensitivity'-pursuit or 'actual profit and sociality'-pursuit, the more did they conduct 'unplanned buying'.

Competitive intelligence in Korean Ramen Market using Text Mining and Sentiment Analysis

  • These days, online media, such as blogospheres, online communities, and social networking sites, provides the uncountable user-generated content (UGC) to discover market intelligence and business insight with. The business has been interested in consumers, and constantly requires the approach to identify consumers' opinions and competitive advantage in the competing market. Analyzing consumers' opinion about oneself and rivals can help decision makers to gain in-depth and fine-grained understanding on the human and social behavioral dynamics underlying the competition. In order to accomplish the comparison study for rival products and companies, we attempted to do competitive analysis using text mining with online UGC for two popular and competing ramens, a market leader and a market follower, in the Korean instant noodle market. Furthermore, to overcome the lack of the Korean sentiment lexicon, we developed the domain specific sentiment dictionary of Korean texts. We gathered 19,386 pieces of blogs and forum messages, developed the Korean sentiment dictionary, and defined the taxonomy for categorization. In the context of our study, we employed sentiment analysis to present consumers' opinion and statistical analysis to demonstrate the differences between the competitors. Our results show that the sentiment portrayed by the text mining clearly differentiate the two rival noodles and convincingly confirm that one is a market leader and the other is a follower. In this regard, we expect this comparison can help business decision makers to understand rich in-depth competitive intelligence hidden in the social media.

소비목적과 광고유형이 규제적합성 및 제품평가에 미치는 영향 (Interactive Roles of Consumption Goals and Types of Advertisements on Regulatory Fit and Product Evaluation)

  • Consumers can have impression goals as well as defense goals. Those with impression goals could use social goals or opinions of others in a social context to determine their attitudes, and those with defense goals could maintain their existing attitudes and beliefs. Since people typically approach pleasure and avoid pain, there are two kinds of goal orientations depending on regulatory focus theory. Therefore, marketers could design advertisements for their products on the basis of two types of focus, promotion-focused and prevention-focused advertisements. This study aims to explore how consumers with different consumption goals evaluate an advertised product. The results of this study demonstrate that consumers with impression goals felt much more "right" about the product in a promotion-focused, rather than prevention-focused, advertisement, and those with defense goals, felt much more "right" about the product in a prevention-focused advertisement. Consumers with impression goals evaluated the product in the promotion-focused advertisement more favorably than in the prevention-focused advertisement, and those with defense goals evaluated the product in the prevention-focused advertisement more favorably.

700MHz대역 주파수 분배정책에 대한 소비자인식 (Consumers' Perception on the Allocation Policy of 700MHz Band for Efficient Broadcasting Environment)

  • 본 연구는 700MHz 대역 주파수 분배안 확정과 관련하여 지상파 방송과 이동통신 분야에서 주장하는 바에 대하여 소비자들이 그 효과를 얼마나 인식하고 있으며, 어느 분야에 분배하는 것을 더 지지하고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 첫째, 소비자들은 700MHz대역 주파수를 방송분야와 이동통신분야 각각에 대해 분배하는 것이 긍정적 효과와 부정적 효과가 모두 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 700MHz대역 주파수 분배안 정책에 대한 소비자의 지지도를 살펴본 결과 방송과 이동통신 두 분야 모두에 분배해야 한다고 응답한 비율이 43%로 가장 높아 정부의 700MHz 주파수 분배정책은 소비자 측면에서 볼 때 바람직하게 분배되었다고 볼 수 있었다. 이 연구는 700MHz대역 주파수 분배정책과 관련하여 방송과 이동통신의 특정 분야의 입장에 치우치지 않고 중도적인 입장에서 소비자의 인식을 조사한 것에 연구의 의의가 있다.

한복의 소비자 인식에 관한 연구 (Research on Consumer Recognition of Korean Traditional Costume, Hanbok)

  • Hanbok industry is not based on a consumer-oriented market system, which is related to poor competitiveness in various areas, such as product planning, marketing, and flow of raw materials. The purpose of this paper is to design and conduct an empirical study on important aspects of consumers. experiences and perspectives about Hanbok, and thereby aims to provide much-needed guidance about ways to promote the Hanbok market. Out of 1065 questionnaires distributed, a total of 1039 was returned with responses and used for analyses. The respondent sample included consumers of various background characteristics in their residential areas, age, gender, education levels, and income levels. Cronbach's alpha and a factor analysis were employed for the reliability and the construct validation of the survey instrument. One-way ANOVA associated with post-hoc comparison tests was used to investigate differences across different demographic subgroups of consumers. The results show that consumers generally view Hanbok as one of the formal dresses, worn one or two times per year for traditional events or ceremonies. Consumers tend to show negative opinions about the pricing, and the inconvenience in cleaning and wearing Hanbok. However, consumers think very highly of the aesthetic values, the gracious styles, and the iconic identity of nationalism of Hanbok. This study suggests that Hanbok for modern consumers should be considered as clothing for a ritual, rather than clothing to reconstruct to be fitted to modern daily lives. Hanbok should be promoted as part of up-scaled and differentiated traditional cultures, as clothing that represents and enhances the traditional elegance and beauty unique to the Korean people.

친환경 농산물의 유통 특성 및 소비자의 구입 의도에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Characteristics of Circulation of Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Products and the Consumers' Purchase Intention)

  • The study was initiated to diagnose the problems and future direction of domestic environmentally friendly agriculture by analyzing the overall opinions of producers and consumers of environmentally friendly agriculture. The collected data were analyzed and tabulated. The research results show that relatively people of 30s${\sim}$40s are the main target groups for the marketing of environmentally friendly agricultural products. When environmentally friendly agricultural products were consumed, right information on safety of environmentally friendly agricultural products should be addressed to customers, and confidence to them has to be brought about from customers.

  • The purpose of this study is clarify consumer problem on the basis of understanding consumer behavior, that is, to make explicit the effect of economic levels and educational background upon consumer consciousness and consumption behavior. The data in this study is from a survey in 1973 by means of a questionnaire of the opinions of 200 housewives of Seoul. The ${\chi}^2$(Chi-Squire) was applied for the statistical analysis of the data and following results were found. Generally consumers lack understanding of economic matters and satisfactory consciousness on matters of consumption life. And there is significant difference among the class on several matters. That is, the lower economic level and educational background are, the lower the understanding of economic matters and consciousness of satisfaction are. So the consumer education must be carried out for lower class of economic level and educational background. And in the present awakening of salers and makers is needed for consumers.
