In this study, we assessed the quality characteristics and antioxidant activity of cookies containing various concentrations (0, 3, 6, 9 and 12%) of baekbokrung powder(BBP). To analyze quality characteristics, density and pH of dough, spread factor, moisture content, color(L, a, b), hardness, total polyphenol content, DPPH radical scavenging activity and sensory properties were measured. Moisture content, a value, hardness, total polyphenol content, and DPPH radical scavenging activity of the cookies significantly increased with increasing content of BBP, whereas pH and density of the dough, spread factor, L and b value of the cookies significantly decreased. The results of sensory properties showed that cookies made with 3% and 6% BBP did not differ significantly from the control, in color, taste and overall quality. Texture scores for the 3% and 6% BBP group ranked significantly higher than those of the other groups. Taken together, the result of this study suggest that BBP is a good ingredient for increasing the consumer acceptability and functionality of cookies.
The purpose of This study is to investigate the effects of the acceptance of food culture through YouTube, one of the platforms that is currently being used, on consumers' perceptions, and to establish marketing effects that can be obtained from the acceptance of food culture through YouTube platform, Q-methodology was selected and exploratory research was conducted to analyze consumers' subjective perspectives. For this purpose, analysis was conducted by classifying statement cards by respondents, and Q-sorts were selected and composed by the Q-group, and after the statement was prepared through this, P-samples were selected and the Q-sorts obtained through classification work were analyzed through the Q factor analysis using the PC QUANL program. The analysis results were classified into four types: Type 1 [(N=6): Preferred Food and Responsibility Satisfaction Type], Type 2 [(N=3): Non-emotional Preferred Food Type, Type 3 [(N=14): Information Acquisition Preferred Food Type], Type 4 [(N=2): Undetermined Type], etc. Each subjective opinion from these analyses will be helpful for various studies in the future, and it will be used as a reference for YouTube-related marketing and consumer restaurant culture acceptance in the future.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical and sensory characteristics of white bread and added 2%, 4%, 6%, or 8% Hallabong powder. Dough pH of the control group was 5.65, and it decreased as increasing amounts of Hallabong powder were added. Also, total titratable acidity of dough significantly increased with increases in Hallabong powder. The fermentation power and dough expansion significantly increased with increasing incubation time; the control was highest at 98.67%. White bread pH, specific volume, and baking loss decreased significantly as with increased Hallabong powder content. The bread moisture content was not significantly different between samples, differing only from 40.61~41.83%. Water activity was 0.960 Aw in the 6% Hallabong powder mixture, which was the highest in samples. In color, lightness of crust significantly decreased with increased Hallabong powder content, whereas redness showed the reverse effect. Lightness of crumbs significantly decreased, with increased Hallabong powder content, whereas redness and yellowness showed the reverse effect. In texture, hardness and fracturability significantly increased, while resilience showed the reverse effect. In the sensory evaluation, citrus flavor, bitterness, astringency, and off-flavor significantly increased with increased Hallabong powder content, and the control sample showed the highest score in color, flavor, softness and overall acceptability. The 2% and 4% samples showed more than average scores. Based on these results, Hallabong powder could be considered a functional material. The optimum amount of Hallabong powder to add for baking bread would be 2~4%.

That success is based on continuous innovation, especially in manufacturing processes. For the next decade to bring another doubling of the business, progress will need to continue in four major areas: Human factors, ecological impact, visual quality, and of course continued drive towards affordability. This talk will detail the technology advances that can allow this industry to meet those challenges. Human factors. Today, we adapt our lifestyle to our technology. People organize their offices, and their homes, around displays. We pass around mobile phones to share images, rather than experiencing them as a group. Billions of newspapers continue to be sold daily. Advances in flexible displays can lead to large portable displays. "New era projection" includes the handheld Pico Projectors that are already on the market, and will ultimately appear integrated in mobile phones the same way cameras do today. "Eco" impact. Today TV's are one of the top energy consumers in a U.S. home, and the fastest growing. Watching a large flat panel TV can cost twice as much as running a large refrigerator. With today's concern about energy consumption, regulations are starting to emerge worldwide to limit TV electrical use. Fortunately, good solutions exist in using light management films to eliminate bulbs, saving power without increasing cost. Going forward, LED backlights will drive another step downward. OLED displays might be the ultimate solution. Visual quality. The color of an LCD-TV is still often considered inferior to a far less expensive CRT. And almost all displays suffer from representing a three-dimensional world on a two dimensional surface. The technology to improve color is available today, and will likely move from premium sets into the mainstream as costs come down. 3D is now arriving in movie theaters worldwide, and that will drive up the demand for similar realistic images in home theaters. And the technology is emerging today for 3D representation to move beyond specialized applications into everyday use, on screens large and small. Affordability. The world takes cost-down miracles for granted in consumer electronics. Each of these other advances will be balanced with a drive for affordability, especially as the market grows in emerging countries. The other three challenges must be met without increasing cost. Putting this all together, the next few years will emphasize "eco friendly" designs, and enhanced images such as 3D. By 2013 we will start to see serious penetration by emissive technologies (OLED, high efficiency plasma, or other), with the "ultimate display" likely not in the market for a decade. Lots of opportunities for innovation remain ahead of us.
Buyers' Trust in suppliers is critical in all commerce, but particularly in the relationship between foreign provider and local consumer due to the liability of foreignness. This study examines (1)how local consumers trust in the product of MNCs is affected by their perceptions of the product attributes, (2)does the product trust affects customers loyalty, and (3)whether Global Corporate Citizenship moderates the relationship between the product attributes and trust. Based on previous researches, hypotheses are formulated and the statistical method used to test them was a moderated regression analysis using SPSS 20. 330 respondents from the university student group in Korea were used for this analysis. The results of this study are follows: Service communication and product perceptions such as quality, technological newness, design, and brand value have a significant effect on the product trust. The Effectiveness of product-related service communication had greater than that of the physical characteristics of product. But, price fairness is not significantly. The trust then has a positive relation to customers loyalty. When global corporate citizenship as the moderating role is introduced into the model, the interaction terms with 'price fairness' are verified to be significant. Therefore, global corporate citizenship moderates the relationship between price fairness and product trust. The results of the empirical study provide important implications for Korean firms operating in foreign markets. But, the findings are limited to the University students and to manufacturing sectors. Thus, the generalization of the results of this research remains limited.
The purpose of this research is to analyze how appropriately the sizing of domestically produced children's wear compares to children's sizes; it is based on an anthropometric survey conducted in 1998. By discovering and understanding discrepancies between the sizing system of children s wear and the real size of children, this study aims to suggest solutions that will lead to increased comfort and more suitable fitting in children's clothes. This research analyzes and compares 'the extent of growth between age groups' with 'the difference in sizing system in use by manufacturers'. The study focused on aged 4 to 12 children, who are usually divided in two groups; primary students and toddlers. In total, seven sizes were selected: bust, waist, and hip (which are girth sizes), and height, back neck to waist (top length), sleeve length, and waist to ankle (slacks length) as representing length. The results of this research are analyzed by basing on the actual increments between the sizes of children's wear in certain basic items rather than sizes themselves because each size quite differed according to companies, items and designs. Significantly, the increase in the sizing was not as great as the average biennial growth rate of children. The consequences are poorer fit and unsuitable representative value for each age group because the actual sizes of children increasingly differ from the sample size. Observing the increments in several sizes, we found that 81.8% of the companies used the certain and equal increases for grading sizes in sleeve length, waist, and bust. In addition, 72.7% of the companies adopted the same increments between sizes in height and hip girth, and 63.6% also chose equal increments in T-shirt length for making smaller or bigger sizes from the sample size. However, sleeve length and pant length were the components that displayed the most varied sizing. Interestingly, the few companies that used different increments between size groups, adopted the change only between one or two size groups, instead of all sizes. In conclusion, this research reveals the unsuitability of the current sizing system and the necessity to increase consumer confidence in the size tags on children's wear by modifying the system to reflect the actual growth of children. The results can also contribute to future study on the development of a new and more accurate sizing system for children's wear.

The purposes of the study were to identify satisfaction and achievement of learning by female learner's characteristics, and to suggest measures to improve quality of education in internet education programs. In order to determine the educational effectiveness associated with the characteristics of learners, this study attempted to employ two way approaches by observing the degree of achievement for learning, which represents an instructor-oriented approach, and the degree of satisfaction for education, which represents a learner-oriented approach to enhance the quality of internet education for female learners. As an approach to evaluate the educational effectiveness, the degree of achievement in learning(Tyler's classical approach), and the degree of satisfaction for education (Scriven's consumer-oriented evaluation model) were utilized. A survey form was developed by the researcher after reviewing the various tools originated from Boshier, Cross, Gagne and Choi, and distributed to a panel of judges that examined the content validity of the instrument. The sample for the study consisted of 160 female learners from three universities in Seoul and capital area, and the survey form was used to collect data for this study. The SPSS WIN program was used in analyzing the data and a series of statistical tests were conducted including frequency, percentile, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression, and factor analysis. The statistical significance level was 0.05. The following conclusion were drawn from this study of female internet education. First, it was evident that female internet learners tend to utilize information from internet, and this can be interpreted as participants' positive attitude, and voluntary participation. Second, educational facilities and services should be improved in the future, because the level of satisfaction was low in these areas compared to curriculum and educational methodology. Third, the participating factors influenced by the level of satisfaction for education of learner characteristics were the 'formation of inter-personal relationship and willingness to change' and the 'needs for education on internet', thus appeared that both social and educational needs influenced the level of satisfaction for education. Fourth, the degree of achievement in learning was higher in the order of 1) attitude 2) function 3) knowledge, thus, attitude change was the most important in achievement of learning. Fifth, the individual background that influenced the level of achievement in learning were age and educational experience. As for the individual level of achievement for learning, the younger and more educated group were more satisfied.
The purposes of the study are to segment the American family restaurant market based on relational benefits and to compare each group's demographics, dining characteristics, relationship quality(consumer identification, switching costs, satisfaction, commitment), and relational outcomes(positive word-of-mouth intentions and share of purchases). 510 responses were collected from American family restaurant customers and analyzed using frequency analysis, EFA, reliability test, cluster analysis, MANOVA, discriminant analysis, chi-square test, and ANOVA. The results of the study found three different types of relational benefits: confidence, special treatment, and social benefits. The results of cluster analysis identified three market segments, namely, high relational benefits consumers, medium relational benefits consumers, and low relational benefits consumers. The three groups were different in terms of age(p<0.05) and level of education(p<0.05). In addition, high relational benefits consumers showed a higher level of relationship frequency(p<0.001), relationship quality(p<0.001), and relational outcomes(p<0.001), followed by medium and low relational benefits consumers. Overall, the results indicated that family restaurants need to deliver excellent relational benefits to customers in order to achieve desired relationship quality and relational outcomes. Managerial implications were provided.

This study examined the factors for sorting miscellaneous cereal crops using a rice-sorting device by analyzing the physical characteristics according to the moisture content. The initial moisture contents of miscellaneous cereal were 16.3, 19.8, and 16.5%, respectively. The samples were used in the experiment after drying to five levels. The width, length, and area of the samples increased with increasing moisture content except for the roundness, and all the prediction models were developed with a first-order linear equation. The bulk density of Italian millet and sorghum increased with increasing moisture content, whereas the bulk density of common millet was unaffected by the change in moisture content. The terminal velocity of the samples increased with increasing moisture content, and a first-order linear equation was used to develop the prediction models. The measured physical properties of the miscellaneous cereal crops based on the changes in the moisture content could be expressed using a first-order experimental model equation. Therefore, the rice-sorting device could be applied to the terminal velocity, but the other device applying the geometrical characteristics and bulk density was required to change the design of the process depending on the type of grain.
