  • According to the analysis report of construction fall accident, situation not installed safety facilities caused the largest of disaster in temporary structure. Therefore, actionable measures will be needed identifying the installation of safety facilities immediately. In this study proposed plan by the safety facilities to effectively visualize, supervision can be easily for reduce fall accident. This system can be used BIM and augmented reality technology by combining in the field in real-time. Through this study, safety facilities management is improved and expected to prevent a accident.

  • As buildings take on more advanced features, mechanical facilities of buildings are accounting for increasingly greater significance in building construction projects. However, mechanical facility designers are forced to be content with design service fees that do not properly compensate their excessive workload, with lowest-bid-first tendering practices compounding their economic woes. In relation to this, this Study aims to offer suggestions for better standards for compensation of design service for mechanical facilities of buildings, highlighting five key suggestions in consideration of relatively small size of work and unmatched long duration of work.

  • This study is developing the Web-based P-C-M support system in agricultural facilities to help the users actually utilizing the system. This system can help the people accept the information and sharing the communication. P-C-M support system is the process in procurement, construction and maintenance. In conclusion, P-C-M support system is expected to the contributed to the agricultural facilities information sharing and communication between the user and suppliers.

  • 국내 건설 산업에 있어 공항시설, 체육시설, 집회시설, 판매시설 등에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 무주대공간의 필요성이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 우주대공간 구축에 있어,기존의 PEB(Pre-Engineered Building)구조나 Pipe Truss구조는 span이 커짐에 따라 철재중량이 급격히 증대되고 장스판에는 적용이 어려운 구조적 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 구조방법 중 하나로 Space Frame이 고려되고 있으나 아직 국내에서는 Space Frame에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 그 활용성이 높지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 공사비용, 공사기간, 시공성 등에서 여러 장정을 지닌 Space Frame을 소개하고 무주대공간 구축에 있어 Space Frame을 적용한 사례분석을 통하여 Space Frame의 특징을 조사하고자 하였다. 더 나아가 향후 국내 건설업계에 무한한 발전 가능성을 가진 Space frame의 기본적 특성과 다른 구법들과의 비교를 통해 장점을 확인함으로써 Space Frame에 대한 국내연구를 활성화시키고 향후 실무를 담당하는 현장에서 무주대공간으로서의 Space Frame의 활용을 높이고자 한다.

Economic analysis of irrigation facilities for securing water for field crops

  • Considering irrigation facilities are currently insufficient and drought vulnerability due to climate change is high, efficient measures are required to secure water supply for field crops. This study, therefore, calculated the water shortage to secure water for representative field crops. An economic analysis was further conducted by comparing the production income to the input cost for each method. Here, five distinct regions were selected to represent each crop-Cheongyang-gun for chili peppers, Yesan-gun for apples, Dangjin-si for cabbages, Seosan-si for garlic, and Goesan for beans. The regions with insufficient water supply were estimated by calculating the water requirements and the supplied water from public groundwater wells for each area. A comprehensive set of four scenarios was presented as a strategy to ensure water security and manage irrigation facilities. These scenarios comprised the maintenance of existing groundwater wells, the construction of new water storage tanks, the installation of additional groundwater wells, and the utilization of surface water. B/C (benefit/cost) analysis was conducted for each scenario. As a result, the construction of water storage tanks was selected as a facility and water management plan in Cheongyang-gun, Dangjin-si, and Seosan-si. The analysis additionally indicated the economic viability of installing surface water utilization facilities in Yesan-gun and developing water storage tanks and groundwater (aquifer) wells in Goesan-gun. The results of this study are considered to serve as foundation data that may be utilized in the selection of water management plans for drought-prone areas in the future.

  • In the last decades, Facility Management (FM) has established itself as a key building service factor.FM includes supporting services and organizing functions essential for maintaining, operating and managing physical component and material. The purpose of the paper is to develop an economical analysis for building facilities management during its service life based on limited cost. This method helps to facilities managers and engineers to make better decisions for reducing of facilities assessment costs and increasing the facilities' service life. This paper presents the preliminary development of a model involves three stages process namely data collection, economic computation and economic process optimization. This process was tested for fiberglass doors example in a building interior and exterior system. If executives can manage essential points effectively and make decisions according to a key performance index, cost can be optimized and safety can be enhanced for installation building.

  • This paper is to clarify on the Characteristics of the Layout of the Hue, the Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, based on a close study of historical records. The results of this study are as follows: Hue was organized according to the traditional capital system of China, whereas the city wall was built Western-style called Vauban. It can be said that the construction of Hue was the result of reflecting both the regional situation that was under the influence of the Chinese culture and the situation of the time that required military facilities based on new technologies. The Axis of Hue oriented to southeast and the location of the government facilities related to way of construction, using the existing facilities. Some facilities that must be located within the imperial city were built its outside. Because facilities for ancestor worship was more important. The facilities for ancestor worship was able to get confirmation that Nguyen Dynasty was successor of ruler who dominated the country.

  • House supplying rate of building facilities is over 100% in 2008. In modern society, many people are thus interested in maintenance phase of building facilities by environment improvement budget because 20 years or more of building facilities are increasing rapidly. Maintenance of building facilities is depending on various factors that impact on the environment improvement budget of building facilities. However, Various methods and factors are made up complex relationships. I will analyze that environment improvement budget associated with floor, gross area, local, school type, service life and other elements.

  • The rational Management of the school facilities will be able to minimize the waste of budgets, enhance total values of facilities. The purpose of this study is to propose promotion plans of the private infrastructure investment in the school facilities not only for contemplating obstacle reasons of BTL projects, but also for gripping contents about process of BTL projects. To achieve these objectives, this study 1)analyzes the major trend about private infrastructure investment, and 2)suggest extended suggestions for minimizing problems in the process of BTL projects in school facilities.

  • For the last 40 years, the Korean government has built and supplied diverse public facilities. The Korean government, which has supplied diverse public facilities for the last 40 years, has maintained these public facilities as breakdown maintenance under limited budget. Because of increase of aging of public facilities and insufficient budget, it needs the total public facility maintenance. Especially, as Japan has also experienced similar issues and solved these, they are the introduction of P-FM theory and see successful examples.
