This paper describes syntheses of thickener for di-urea grease using constant velocity joint. The thickeners of di-urea grease were synthesized by reaction of diisocyanate with various alkylamines, hexylamine, octylamine, stearylamine and cyclohexylamine at high temperatxire. The synthesized thickener were analyzed by FT-IR spectroscopy and two kinds of Mass spectroscopy (EI & FAB). Dropping point and Consistency of synthesized di-urea grease were determined.

In this paper, we deal with the asymptotic properties of the least absolute deviation estimators in the nonlinear time series regression model. For the sinusodial model which frequently appears in a time series analysis, we study the strong consistency and asymptotic normality of least absolute deviation estimators. And using the derived limiting distributions we show that the least absolute deviation estimators is more efficient than the least squared estimators when the error distribution of the model has heavy tails.

The complexity and consistency are important factors that affect human information processing in use of product. In this study, complexity and consistency of product(remote controller) are measured by Task Action Grammar(TAG) model. Also, new design alternative of the user interface is presented and evaluated. The results show that the consistent system and the good correspondence between hierarchical structure of system and user's mental model lead to the reduction of errors and enhanced user's performance.

The purpose of this study was to examine the consistency and balance of learning objectives of units and instructional units according to grades and educational domains. Educational domains were cognitive(scientific knowledge), scientific inquiry(inquiry process skills), affective(scientific attitude), and science-technology-society(STS). Learning objectives of life field of the 7th elementary science curricular teaching guidebooks were analysed. Scientific inquiry process skill objectives(43.5%) were most dominant in units, but cognitive objectives(53.9%) were most dominant in instructional units. STS objectives were most recessive in both units and instructional units. Especially, objectives of units and instructional units were shown no consistency by grade. The results of this study suggested that the textbooks and teaching guidebooks should be developed consistently by considering learning activities and contents on the basis of background and properties of science curriculum.

In order to simulate the actual wet-end process in papermachine, RDA, a novel handsheet former, was used and following results were obtained. While the addition of polyelectrolytes gives significant effect on fiber flocculation, increase of stock consistency influenced on the formation of RDA sheets greatly. In particular, the consistency increase from 0.3 % to 0.4% abruptly increased floe size of RDA sheet and it results in severe deterioration of paper strength. Stock consistency, therefore, should be regarded as the most important factor in the formation simulation with RDA and should be controlled as the first sequence of tuning the operating conditions of RDA to simulate correctly the target machine paper's formation.

For verifying consistency and completeness of some UML diagrams as a representative of a graphical notations for object-oriented designs, I first give an analysis of some UML diagrams and apply some verifying rules to the UML diagrams. In this paper, I design effective verifying system which possesses both diagramming facility and the consistency and completeness checking capability. The verifying system uses a set of frames to represent internal diagramming information.

Unlike using a single sonar platform, using two different sonar platforms can lead to a considerable increase of acoustic aperture in Passive Ranging Sonar(PRS). Values measured from two sonar platforms shall be consistent in order to allow us to rely on such improved aperture. However, obtaining consistent values from a towed array and a frank array is not always simple due to the heading error occurring at towed array. The objective of this paper is to verify a new criterion analyzing the consistency in the measured values of towed array and frank array through computer simulations.

Nonparametric Bayesian methods have seen rapid and sustained growth over the past 25 years. We present a gentle introduction to the methods, motivating the methods through the twin perspectives of consistency and false consistency. We then step through the various constructions of the Dirichlet process, outline a number of the basic properties of this process and move on to the mixture of Dirichlet processes model, including a quick discussion of the computational methods used to fit the model. We touch on the main philosophies for nonparametric Bayesian data analysis and then reanalyze a famous data set. The reanalysis illustrates the concept of admissibility through a novel perturbation of the problem and data, showing the benefit of shrinkage estimation and the much greater benefit of nonparametric Bayesian modelling. We conclude with a too-brief survey of fancier nonparametric Bayesian methods.

Purpose : To retrospectively evaluate the usefulness of diffusion-weighted images, ADC maps and conventional MR images for determination of brain tumor consistency. Materials and Methods : Twenty-three patients with brain tumor underwent MR examinations with T1, T2 and diffusion-weighted images. Regions of interest (ROIs) were drawn in the tumors, and the measured signal intensities (SI) were normalized with the contralateral side. We evaluated the correlation between SI ratios from various images and tumor consistency assessed at surgery. In three patients with both cystic and solid components, each component was evaluated independently. Qualitatively observed SIs were also correlated with tumor consistency. Results : Statistical analysis revealed significant correlation between tumor consistency and ADC ratio (r = -0.586, p = 0.002), SI ratios on T2-weighted images (r = -0.497, p = 0.010), and observed SIs on T2-weighted images (r = -0.461, p = 0.018). The relative ratio of ADC value correlated with tumor consistency most strongly. Conclusion : The measured ratio of ADC, SI ratio and observed SI grade on T2-weighted images can provide valuable information about the consistency of brain tumor.

Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles Vol. 19, No. 6 (1995) p. 895~910 The purpose of study was to estimate the consistency between brand image and shopping bag image, and also to find out the important factors which constructed the brand image. This study was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey of female students of moi or universities in Seoul. Frequency, percentage, mean, factor analysis, 1-test, ANOVA, Fisher's LSD, Coster analysis, MDS are used for data analysis. The result are as follows: 1) Brand image was devised into three factors: personality/modernity, nobility and usability. 2) The rate of consistency of brand image and shopping bag image was high in the brands of Benetton, System, Cresson, Be-art, Tomboy, Guess, Esprit, Anacapri, Mercoledi, Youngwoo in descending order. 3) The most important factor which represent the brand image was the choice of color. 4) This study found that shopping bags can be advertising media because they think that shopping bags played an important role as a walking advertising media on the street.
