  • The house of quality (HOQ) involves subjective and ambiguous information typically through a likert scale, It isimportant to validate consistency of such input in the HOQ before rating the fmal importance of technicalrequirements, Previously, a methodology was developed to test the consistency of relationship strengths in theHOQ between roof matrix and relationship matrix. We described disadvantages of the previous method andpropose a new approach based on the permutation test. Advantages of the proposed method are illustrated withan example.

  • This paper provides sufficient conditions which ensure the strong consistency of regression quantiles estimators of nonlinear regression models. The main result is supported by the application of an asymptotic property of the least absolute deviation estimators as a special case of the proposed estimators. some example is given to illustrate the application of the main result.

  • The linear support vector machine(SVM) is motivated by the maximal margin separating hyperplane and is a popular tool for binary classification tasks. Many studies exist on the consistency properties of SVM; however, it is unknown whether the linear SVM is consistent for estimating the optimal classification boundary even in the simple case of two Gaussian classes with a common covariance, where the optimal classification boundary is linear. In this paper we show that the linear SVM can be inconsistent in the univariate Gaussian classification problem with a common variance, even when the best tuning parameter is used.

  • We study on the consistency of AHP. It is research that extend of SAW methods by [1]. For tools that measure judgment of inconsistency eigenvector methods, we research consistency that introduced consistency ratio by Saaty. in general, the higher consistence of compare matrix the bigger error within matrix. In this paper, we use the AHP for the optimal decision making. By this method, we have optimal decision making numenical example which three models of any domestic motors companies.

  • Recently, admixture manufacturers have improved the performance of admixtures to solve problems caused by high viscosity of high performance admixtures, and accordingly, it is expected to affect fluidity of concrete using admixtures. Therefore, in this research, how each kind of HAE affects consistency curve of cement mortar was examined.

  • The design of robust plate and shell elements has been a very challenging area for several decades. The main difficulty has been the shear locking phenomenon in plate elements and the shear and membrane locking phenomena together in the shell elements. Among the various artifices or devices which are used to develop elements free of these problems is the field-consistency approach. In this paper this approach is reviewed, It turns out that not only Mindlin type elements but also elements based on higher-order theories could be developed using the technique.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the consistency of socially responsible consumer attitudes and behaviors toward environment problem. The major findings were as follows; 1. The socially responsible consumer behaviors toward environment problem were classified into resource conservation purchasing & using in green product and recycling behavior by factor analysis. 2. Correlation coefficient of the socially responsible attitudes and behaviors toward environment problem was found to be above. 43. This result implies that the consistency of socially responsible attitudes and behaviors was very high. 3. In the area of total socially responsible consumer attitudes and behaviors toward environment problem the related variable on the consistency of attitude and behavior were altruism perceived power of big business liberalism alienation dogmatism perceived consumer effectiveness faith on the environmental regulation policy experience of environment education and consumer i formation.

  • In collaborative filtering, many neighbors are needed to improve the quality and stability of the recommendation. The quality may not be good mainly due to the high similarity between two users not guaranteeing the same preference for products considered for recommendation. This paper proposes a consistency definition, rather than similarity, based on information entropy between two users to improve the recommendation. This kind of consistency between two users is then employed as a trust metric in collaborative filtering methods that select neighbors based on the metric. Empirical studies show that such collaborative filtering reduces the number of neighbors required to make the recommendation quality stable. Recommendation quality is also significantly improved.
