The purpose of this study is to classify the home management behaviors of urban housewives and to find out variables which influence them. Following are the results. 1. The home management behavior of urban housewives are classified into six types. Thouse expense and convenience oriented type, using the information and family centered type, tradition and steady oriented type, improving life type, conservative and thrifty type and the self-faithfulness and change adaption type. 2. Follows are the variables which have influenced on home management behaviors of urban housewives. \circled1 The level of education of housewives, perceived level of economical resources, income and evaluation level of life have influenced on expense and convenience oriented type. \circled2 The duration of marriage, the level of education of husband, the satisfaction of housework and communication interaction have influenced on using the information and family centered type. \circled3 The satisfaction of housework, the perceived level of economical resources, the level of education of husband and the age of housewives have influenced on the tradition and steady oriented type. \circled4 The perceived level of family resources and the communication interaction have influenced on the improving life type. \circled5 The communication interaction and the income have influenced on conservative and thrifty type. \circled6 The perceived level of economical resources, the satisfication of housework, the communication interaction, the level of education of housewives, the age of housewives and the number of children have influenced on the self-faithfulness and change-adaption type.

Societies are important sources of new information for users. However. most of these societies still rely on traditional. or rather ancient methods for gathering and servicing the information. Furthermore. most of the societies are trying to electrify processes such as managing members and paper submission as well as the process managing the information for service but are limited due to financial and technical reasons. Therefore. KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) has developed the $\mathbb{\ulcorner}$ KISTI-ACOMS(KISTI-Article COntribution Management System)$\mathbb{\lrcorner}$ as part of the national project for automating the process of processing academic information by societies. in order to convert journals published by academic societies in Korea into an electronic form and make them accessible on the Internet. This system has been developed in the year 2001 and has since been distributed to societies free of charge. The number of societies requesting the service has risen recently. which prompted us to take more recommendations of the societies that adopt this system into account in expanding and standardizing the area of service being provided by the system.

Although prompt diagnosis and emergent surgical intervention are important in acute spinal subdural hematoma (SSDH), some cases with spontaneous remission of symptom and hematoma without surgery have been reported. We present a case of acute nontraumatic SSDH presenting with transient left hemiplegia for 4 hours. A magnetic resonance imaging study of cervical spine confirmed SSDH with C3-6 cervical cord compression at the left side. The patient had conservative management without recurrence. Although hemiplegia is an unusual clinical manifestation of SSDH, it should be differentiated from that of cerebrovascular origin promptly. Conservative management may be an alternative therapeutic option for selective cases with transient neurological deficits.

Tracheo-gastric conduit fistula is an extremely rare but severe complication that is difficult to manage. Conservative care, esophageal or tracheal stent placement, or cutaneomuscular flaps have been suggested; however, no definite treatment has been proven. We report a case of tracheo-gastric conduit fistula that occurred after a minimally invasive radical three-field esophagectomy. Following the primary surgery, the diagnosis was made while evaluating the patient's frequent aspiration and coughing. Conservative management failed, and a surgical correction was undertaken to identify the multifocal mucosal defect and exposed tracheal ring. A sternocleidomastoid muscle rotation flap and subsequent Histoacryl injection into the remaining fistula were performed, and the fistula was successfully managed.
