Effect on Consumers' Product Perceptions of National and Private Brand Clothing according to Consumer Decision-marketing Style (소비자 의상결정유형에 따른 전국상표와 자체상표의 제품 지각차이에 관한 연구)

  • The present study examined the consumer's evaluations of apparel quality and price, and the brand recognition according to the consumer's decision making styles(quality-conscious, brand-conscious, and price-conscious consumers). The two hundred and three subjects were asked to evaluate the quality and price of the two almost identical experimental blouses except for brand labels. One was the national brand, Keith and the other was the private brand, Ivy house. Also, the subjects were asked to answer if they recognize these two brands. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaire and were analyzed by frequency, percentage, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, and factor analysis. The results of the study were as floows: (1) Examining the perceptions of product qualities, generally speaking, all three types of the consumers evaluated the national brand's qualities more highly than those of the private brand. However, in-part, the price-conscious consumers evaluated some product charac-teristics more highly than those of national brand: touch of fabric, sewing, and the hemline finishing. (2) Investigating the perceptions of product prices, All three types of the consumers evaluated the price of the national brand more highly than that of the private brand. Among those, the price-conscious consumers recognized the price of the national brands most expensively. (3) Identifying the brand recognition of the two brands, the brand-conscious consumers showed the highest brand recognition and the price-conscious consumers showed the lowest brand recognition in both national and private brands, 51.9% of the total respondents identified the private brand showing comparatively high brand recognition. (4) Examining the relationship between the demographic factors and the consumer decision making styles, the monthly household income was statistically significant. Namely, 71.4% of the brand-conscious consumers have the monthly household income of 3,000,000 Won or higher which means that the higher monthly household income, the higher tendency to be brand-conscious consumers.

  • Human mind can be divided by conscious and nonconscious. The action that can be seen by eyes express of conscious world, but brain researchers tell us that the world of nonconscious more occupied than world of conscious. In this paper, we divide conscious and nonconscious of world in basic love model of Romeo and Juliet, and then we represent complex number for the conscious and nonconscious. We also display as time series and phase plane for their behavior. Finally, we confirms the existence of nonlinear characteristics in their behavior.

Typology of mobile marketing and fashion application usage motives (모바일 마케팅의 유형화와 패션 어플리케이션 이용 동기)

  • The importance of marketing on mobile platforms as well as mobile commerce is increasing dramatically in fashion industry. The purpose of this study was to categorize mobile fashion marketing strategies and to examine application usage motivations that influence brand attitude, purchase decisions, and post-purchase evaluation. Qualitative research methods, in particular focus-groups and in-depth interviews, were conducted to examine the typology of mobile marketing and fashion application usage motivations. Then, a modified survey was used to quantitatively examine what content consumers expect from fashion applications. Results of the qualitative study indicated that consumers perceive sensory (visual, tactile, auditory), relationship, information and practical marketing strategies through motives. Survey result from 229 consumers revealed four fashion application usage motives: sensory, relationship, information and practical. Based on these motives consumers were segmented into three groups: the experience/relationship-conscious, the product information-conscious, and the lifestyle information-conscious. The product information-conscious group showed higher level of monthly income and clothing expenses but lower level of mobile device usages. Lifestyle information-conscious group and experience/relationship-conscious group had higher level of attitude, and post-purchase evaluation. It was experience-relationship conscious consumers who spent more time in mobile use. This study shows a better understanding of mobile marketing environment of fashion applications.

Changes of dental anxiety and fear in adult patients applying conscious sedation (의식하진정법을 적용한 성인 환자의 치과공포 및 불안의 변화)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between conscious sedation, a moderate sedation method used to reduce dental fear, and anxiety. Methods: The previously developed modified dental anxiety investigation scale (MDAS) and dental fear investigation scale (DFS) were investigated using a self-administered survey for adults aged 19 to 65 years old who visited a dental clinic located in Daegu City from April to November 2020. Those who met the ASA Recommendation Level 1 to 2 were the subjects of this study. The participants were evaluated using the sedation severity rating scale (OAA/S) during the implementation of conscious sedation. A lot of 106 valid questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS. Results: Dental fear and anxiety decreased significantly after dental care with conscious sedation. Dental fear after dental care accompanied by conscious sedation was statistically significant in females, those under the age of 40, those with a bachelor's degree or higher, and those who weighed 60 kg or less. Conclusions: Dental care using conscious sedation was found to have an effect on the reduction of dental fear after the dental procedure. Dental fear can occur in people of all ages, and, regardless of the individual's general and physical characteristics, conscious calming is considered an effective intervention for dental fear in all adults.

  • In a mega competition having no national boundaries, we have to apply the logistics system considering an environment seriously and to construct the environmentally conscious logistics system (ECLS) with the forward and reverse logistics system of a companies. The objectives of this research were to provide strategies required for implementation of the environmentally conscious logistics system. And also, we propose the future research topics needed for improvement of the studies on environmentally conscious logistics system.

  • Recently, there is growing recognition that we should protect an environment in all industries. As one of the OECD in the world trade market, we have to apply the Envirormentally Conscious Logistics System(ECLS) considering an environment seriously, and to implement environmentally conscious logistics activities. A packaging of entire logistics system have to also do it. Therefore, the objectives of this study were to discuss and to make an overture which an environmental packaging system of logistics system is by introducing a case study.

A Difference Analysis Among Nationality, Gender and Age Regarding Environmentally Conscious Behavior (친환경 행동에 대한 국가, 성별, 연령 차이분석)

  • The study seeks to determine how much environmentally conscious behaviors vary depending on the nationality, gender and age. For its purpose, this study suggests hypotheses that Korean and American consumers, who are culturally different from each other, show differences from each other in environmentally conscious behaviors. An interaction effect is also expected between gender and age. With regard to environmentally conscious behavior. Meanwhile, the study tried to examine whether personal values have any mediating effect on the behaviors. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. Environmentally conscious behaviors by American consumers were more significant than those by Korean consumers. And men were more positive in making environmentally conscious behaviors than women were. In addition, there were interaction effects between nationality and gender, and nationality and age. Furthermore, personal values, depending on age, were found to have moderating effects on environmentally conscious behaviors.

A Study on the Environment Conscious Logistic System for Economy Base Construction Under Resources Circulation (자원순환형 경제사회기반 구축을 위한 기업의 환경 친화적 물류시스템 실태)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the actual condition of environment conscious logistic system which is essential to make material recycling economic society. Environment conscious logistic management which meant simply recycle is tend to promote material reduction, reuse and recycling. We have made case studies about advanced environment friendly logistic system. To examine Korean companies' environment conscious logistic system, we made survey form which is consist of 82 questionnaires and 154 companies have participated for this. And we have analyzed the survey responses. As a result of this study, we propose the way of constructing environment conscious logistic system in Korea.

Pro-environmental Consumer and Environmentally Conscious Citizen Behavior Tendency of University Students in Cheongju (대학생의 환경친화적 소비자 행동과 환경의식적 시민행동 성향 - 청주시 대학생을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper was written to find the tendency of pro-environmental consumer behavior and environmentally conscious citizen behavior of university students. The difference between two behavioral tendencies were existed and variables influenced on those tendencies each other. The results were as follows: 1. The pro-environmental consumer behavior of university students was consisted of five tendencies, such as practice in life, environment preservation, environment consideration, patience in uncomfortableness and diversity in circumstances. 2. The environmentally conscious citizen behavior of University students were consisted of four tendencies, such as environment contamination, self-centered, resource economy, pollution reduction. 3. The pro-environmental consumer behavior tendencies of university students were inconsistent with those of environmentally conscious citizen behavior. 4. The variables influenced on those tendencies were sex, concern in environment problem and living condition.

Effect of Environment-conscious Procurement Logistics Activity and Logistics Strategy on Logistics Performance (조달물류에서 환경친화적 활동이 조달물류 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • For a sustainable development, the resources circulation system should be established and an environment-conscious activities are required at the same time. These activities should be also implemented in logistics area. Especially, green procurement activities in inbound logistics is recognized as a very important factors in the early phase of an environment-conscious activities. In this paper, we are to suggest the direction through statistical analysis of effects, and cause of influences of environmental procurement logistics activities on logistics performance by environmental logistics strategy and by the size of enterprises, and by Environmental Management System. This study was conducted with the subjects of manufacturing enterprises with concurrent reviews of literature and statistical analysis, and the meaning of this study would be the analysis of the influencers of environment-conscious procurement logistics activities on logistics performance different from existing logistics studies.
