설계정보 구축 및 재사용을 위한 지식베이스 시스템

  • 본 고에서는 지식베이스엔지니어링이 기존의 제품개발 방법론을 개선하기 위한 지능적인 설계도구로서 컴퓨터를 사용하는 새롭고 흥미로운 대안임을 살펴보았다. 전문가의 설계 및 현장 경험을 조직적이고 체계적으로 수집하여 활용하는 것은 동시공학(Concurrent Engineering) 방법론의 실행을 위한 도구로서 매우 중요함을 살펴보았다. 또한 시스템의 효과적인 구축을 위해 어떤한 것들을 고려해야 하는지도 살펴보았다. 이러한 일련의 과정을 통해 설계 분야가 미약한 국내 환경에 지식베이스엔지니어링이 하루 속히 정착되기를 희망한다.

  • 3차원 CDA 시스템의 보급 및 설계단게에 적용이 확대 되어 가면서 CAD 시스템에 의한 3차원 입체모형제작 기술에 많은 관심이 주목되고있다. 특히 최근에는 광조형 장치가 상품개발사이클의 단축화와 Concurrent Engineering 실현의 중요한 도구로써 자리매김을 하고있으므로 본 논문에서는 광조형장치의 구성 및 조형 사례에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • 현재 우리나라에서는 제품 설계 단계에서, 기능 설계와 제품의 생산 문제를 동시에 해결하려는 concurrent engineering이 발전되고 있고, 여기에 추가하여 environment의 영향을 고려한 concurrent 설계의 개발이 필요한 시기가 되었다. 청정 기술이 제품 설계단계에서 활용될 수 있는 예를 제시한다. 또한 design engineer가 환경문제를 해결하게 하기 위하여는, 기초기능 specification 단계부터, 제품별 환경 spec과 같은 data base가 PC에서 쉽게 점할 수 있도록 청정기술자의 도움이 필요하다.

  • It Is a typical scenario in concurrent engineering/design that different perspectives of each team members participating In the project exist, and those perspectives lead to conflicting decisions. The model 'resolution network' proposed in this work provides system-mediated resolution for all related team engineers to consider to optimize the manufacture in general. This paper focuses on development of the general architecture of the model and a search engine called Mediator to determine a resolution network from a given constraint network. The Mediator manages the constraint network, determines the most optimistic resolution called optimal point in terms of satisfying overall production goal , and use the optimal point to mediate controversial issues among teams. The biggest merit of our model is that it provides teams with resolution with logical and rational reasoning.

  • In this paper determined is the quantity of repairable concurrent spare parts(CSP) of a new equipment system to maximize the operational availability under budget constraint and cannibalization allowed. When a part fails, the part is replaced and the failed part is repaired for later use while cannibalization is allowed. The failure of a part is assumed to follow a Poisson process and the availability in CSP is defined. The solution procedure consists of two parts. Firstly, a mathematical model is developed under the assumption that the failure rate is constant during the CSP period and cannibalization is not allowed. Secondly, proposed is a simulation search procedure which improves the heuristic solution to the near optimal solution in a reasonable amount of time under the assumption that the cannibalization is allowed.

  • In this paper we consider the concurrent spare part(CSP) requirements problem of new equipment system. When a part fails, the part is replaced and the repair of failed part is impossible and cannibalization is allowed. We assume that the failure of a part knows a Poisson process. The operational availability concept in CSP is defined, and derive a formula to calculate the operational availability using expected machine operating time during CSP period. A mathematical model is derived for making an CSP requirement determination subject to the constraint of satisfying any given operational availability limitation and an heuristic solution search procedure is derived. An illustrative example is shown to explain the solution procedure.

  • The dynamic design and evaluation of mechanisms need to be performed in a collaboration or concurrent system in order to shorten the development period of the product. A web-based system is the most suitable concurrent system to promote effective collaboration. In order to develop such a web-based system, Java Applet, which is not restrained by a computer's H/W and S/W, is widely used. This paper introduces a web-based 3D animation system for visualizing the motions of mechanisms. This web-based 3D animation system uses a JAVA Applet program method, which can be operated in a web-browser, and the Open Inventor for Java, which supports 3D graphics. It does not only allows the user to verify dynamic simulation results and design variables through the web, but it also has the advantage of supporting collaboration among a number of users through simultaneous connections.

자금제약하에서의 소모성 동시조달부품의 최적구매량 결정 (Optimal Provisioning Quantity Determination of Consumable Concurrent Spare Part under the Fund Limitation)

  • In this paper, the consumable concurred spare parts requirement determination problem of newly procured equipment systems is considered. The problem is formulated as the operational availability maximization problem with any given fund limitation. the that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and part failure rate is constant in spite of the decrease of number of equipments during operational period, an analytical method is developed to obtain spare part requirements using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, The numerical examples show that analytic solution is mostly equal to the realistic solution obtained from simulation regardless of assumptions about part failure rate. It is expected that the analytical method developed in the paper can be effectively used to make a budget for provisioning the concurrent spare parts of newly procured equipment system.

  • Constraint networks are a major approach to knowledge representation in Concurrent Engineering (CE) systems. The networks model various factors in CE as constraints linked by shared variables. Many systems have been developed to assist constraint network processing. While these systems can be useful, their underlying assumption that a solution must simultaneously satisfy all the constraints is often unrealistic and hard to achieve. Proposed in this paper is a hierarchical representation of constraint networks using priorities, namely Prioritized Constraint Network (PCN). A mechanism to propagate priorities is developed, and a new satisfiability definition taking into account the priorities is described. Strength of constraint supporters can be derived from the propagated priorities. Several properties useful for investigating PCN's and finding effective solving strategies ore developed.

  • Nowadays, Industrial competition power is depended on that rapidly produce the customized products. Therefor, it is necessary to reduce period of product development. Thus, concurrent engineering that work many process at a time was appeared and Rapid prototyping was appeared, it is method that rapidly produce the prototype. If the graphic model was made by CAD, the prototype can be made in short term. That provide what the part was directly tested by the worker. It provide a worker with believable data. We study on the influence of surface roughness on injection interval and part angle at FDM.
