The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the non-sedentary in contemporary multi-housing planning through the understanding and interpretation of the modern nomadic life. A document research method was used to analyze and classified the spatial characteristics and development of the non-sedentary dwelling spaces since 20th century. Finally, today the applicable cases of non-sedentary space are as follows; the sharing housing, the adapting housing, and temporary housing for the multi-purpose spaces, huge spaces and the industrialization housing. First of all, in order to conform the concept of nomadism, the theory and characteristics were divided into three aspects; The concept of thought of lines, events and Rhisome, and the spatial characteristics of fluidity, multiplicity and the non-hierarchy, that is mainly based on the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze. This study attempted to analyze how the concept of non-sedentary dwelling space has been developed in what form and method they have been applied and interpreted in the historical background. It attempted to resolve the concept of movement and mobility through the experiment so that they might apply to the space of contemporary city.

The present paper considers how to teach mathematical concepts. In particular, we aim to a balanced, unified achievement for three elements of concept loaming such as concept understanding, computation and application through one's mathematical intuition. In order to do this, we classify concepts into three patterns, that is, intuitive concepts, logical concepts and formal concepts. Such classification is based on three kinds of philosophy of mathematics : intuitionism, logicism, fomalism. We provide a concrete, practical investigation with important nine concepts in theory of vectors from the viewpoint of three patterns of concepts. As a consequence, we suggest certain solutions for an effective concept learning in teaching theory of vectors.

Purpose: This study was aimed to clarify the concept of ego-resiliency in the context of nursing and to propose a definition of ego-resiliency. Methods: Rodgers' evolutionary approach to concept analysis was used to identify common attributes, antecedents, and consequences of the term ego-resiliency. A literature search of the RISS, NDSL, NAL, CINAHL, PubMed, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, and Scopus databases from 1980 to 2014 was conducted, using the key words of ego-resiliency, ego-resilience, and ego-resilient. Thirty-four relevant articles and one book were finally selected and throughly reviewed. Results: The results of the concept analysis concluded that ego-resiliency was a individualized, integrated, and coping resource and capacity leading personal adaptive capacity including physical, psychological, social well being in various adversity and challenge of life. Conclusion: The findings of this study warranted nursing research on a development of nursing intervention related with ego-resiliency as a pivotal personal characteristic. By doing so, better understanding of human and health within the context of nursing could be achieved.

The Five Laws of Library Science was introduced into Japan in 1935. After World War II, it was widely disseminated among young librarians by the education for librarianship developed in the 1950's. Its concept, "Books for All," met a serious opposition from local authorities based on their long continued concept of "preservation." After they realized that people eagerly use local libraries, they interpreted that the duty of public library was "lending books." They introduced "Privatization" of libraries into quite a few local libraries in order to save money. For overcoming problems, it is important to disseminate the library concept among the public, the assembly members and government officials planning to change their attitude of disregarding libraries. As the fundamental library philosophy, the Five Laws of Library Science is important. In the commentary of the Five Laws written by the present writer, he included an illustration of triangle pyramid showing the structure of the Five Laws. He included here the spiral of study on the library and the library science, based on the Section 814 of the Five Laws. He welcomes discussions on his Japanese angle from different viewpoints in order to develop further understanding of the Five Laws.

Mathematical concept exists in the structural form, not in the independent form. The purpose of this study is to consider the network which students actually have for the mathematical concept structure related to the properties of derivatives. First, we analyzed the properties of derivatives in 'Mathematics II' and showed the mathematical concept structure of the relations among derivatives, functions, and primitive functions as a network. Also, we investigated the understanding of high school students for the mathematical concept structure between derivatives and functions, and the structure between functions and second order derivatives when the functional formula is not given, and only the graph is given. The results showed that students mainly focus on the relation of 'function-derivatives', the thinking process for direction of derivative and the thinking style for algebra. On this basis, we suggest the educational implication that is necessary for students to build the network properly.

Objectives : The verse, "冬不藏精, 春必病溫", which had much influence, has been falsely referenced as contents of "Neijing". This study aims to examine this process, while looking at its theoretical meaning within clinical practice. Methods : The origins of the concept "冬不藏精, 春必病溫" are explained through annotations of "Neijing" and Li Dong Yuan(李東垣)'s interpretation of Shanghan(傷寒), while its clinical meaning is examined through theories of doctors's who applied the concept in their practices. Results : The beginning of "冬不藏精, 春必病溫" could be traced back to Li's annotation of the verse "冬傷于寒, 春必病溫" from the "Neijing", where he based his understanding on the concept "少陰不藏." Since then, the discourse on "冬傷于寒, 春必病溫" has been replaced by "冬不藏精, 春必病溫" as a new concept to explain the pathology of Wenbing(溫病). These discussions followed the line of thought that by failure to store Jing(精) during the winter, Cold pathogen would infiltrate, hiding itself in Shaoyin(少陰). Various arguments on how the Cold pathogen would develop into Wenbing and its treatment followed. Conclusions : "冬不藏精, 春必病溫" can be understood as the result of a new interpretation of "冬傷于寒, 春必病溫" through the perspective of Cold pathogen infiltration based on "少陰不藏".

Purpose: This study aimed to conduct a concept analysis of health-related quality of life in children with epilepsy to promote conceptual clarification and facilitate mutual understanding of the concept. Methods: Walker and Avant's concept analysis method was adopted. Results: Health-related quality of life in children with epilepsy consists of six attributes: health status, inner strength, close relationships, resource-rich community, social acceptance, and changeability. According to the ecological system paradigm, these attributes are structured into five dimensions: organism, microsystem, macrosystem, exosystem, and chronosystem. These dimensions provide a comprehensive approach to the relationship between children with epilepsy and their environment. Epilepsy and interactions with multilevel ecological systems that are directly and indirectly related to children with epilepsy precede the concept, followed by positive and negative affective responses. Conclusion: The findings of this study may support effective communication in various practice settings, thereby contributing to the health and well-being of children with epilepsy, as well as the development and expansion of interventions to improve their health-related quality of life.

As for the public, it is hard to understand semiotics because of the scope of an enormous semiotics education. This study is making semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce the subject. I thought that utilization can hold his semiotics study in a visual design field. First of all, this study considered design related papers related to the existing semiotics again and study found an error of the existing semiotics study and understanding did category concept with re-definition about semiotics of Peirce. Explained a symbol mark through understanding of semiotics of Peirce. This study was able to get the following conclusion through these results. 1) A symbol mark means one product, sonics, company oneself with a custom. Therefore, it is a rule symbol in the Representation side. 2) A symbol mark symbolizes an object with one symbol, so a symbol mark is a symbol in an object. 3) Because a symbol mark exists through a social rule, in semiotics definition of Peirce, this must become understanding with a Argument symbol. 4) A symbol mark is what a company or an organization field used from the past, and the public are recognizing this how. Therefore, it works as fact a company attaches a symbol mark to own product, and to show the public a symbol mark. A symbol mark is Dicent Sign in Interpretant. A rule and understanding about a lot of types which have various mutual relation, Peirce classification and understanding of a symbol mark tells to demand is holding that understanding a type of semiotics with the concept that is not an image to us.

Presently, there has been growing interests in using mathematics' history in teaching mathematics [Katz, V. & Tzanakis, C. (Eds.) (2011). Recent Developments on Introducing a Historical Dimension in Mathematics Education. Washington, DC: Mathematical Association of America]. Thus, this article introduces some work of scholars from ancient East Indian culture like Bhaskara (AD 1114-1185) and Arabic culture such as Ibn Qurrah (AD 9th c) that are related to Pythagoras Theorem. In addition, some Babylonian creative works related to Pythagorean triples found in a tablet known as 'Plimpton 322', and an application of the Pythagorean Theorem found in another tablet named 'Yale Tablet' are presented. Applications of computer animation of dissection Motion Operations concept in 2D and 3D using dynamic software like Geometer's-Sketchpad and Cabri-II-and-3D. Nowadays, creative minds are attracted by the recent stampede in the advances of technological applications in visual literacy; consequently, innovative environments that would help young students, gifted or not, acquiring meaningful conceptual understanding would immerge.
