The present paper aims at developing a method to accommodate multi-surface concrete plasticity from the point of view of a consistency concept applied to general tangent operators. The idea is based on a Taylor series expansion of the actual effective stress at the stress point corresponding to the previous accumulated true stresses plus the current increment values, initially taken to be elastic. The proposed algorithm can be generalized for any multi-surface criteria combination and has been tested here for typical cement-based materials. A few examples of application are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the multi-surface technique as used to a combination of Rankine and Drucker-Prager yield criteria.

의견 검색은 사용자의 정보 요구에 주제적으로 연관되면서도 의견이 포함되어 있는 정보를 검색하는 태스크이다. 본 연구는 효과적인 의견 검색을 위해 사용자 정보 요구를 표현하는 방법과 이 요구를 만족시킬만한 여러 의견 자질들을 효과적으로 결합할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 본 실험에서는 추론 네트워크 모델을 기본 검색 모델로 사용하였고, Blogs06 컬렉션과 100개의 TREC 토픽에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 가상의 '의견' 개념을 설정하여 효과적으로 의견 검색의 정보 요구를 표현할 수 있었으며, 극히 소량의 일반 의견 단어집만을 사용했는데도 동일한 환경에서 기존 모델과 견줄 만한 의견 검색 성능을 달성할 수 있었다.

Since ancient times, plants have been a major source of novel drug molecules and have been used in the treatment of different infectious diseases. Secondary plant metabolites have miraculous healing properties and show potent therapeutic responses when used in combination drug therapy. The prime objective of this review is to summarize the concept of drug combination with special emphasis on the synergistic interactions between plant-derived bioactive phytochemicals with commercially available antimicrobial agents. The study also assesses the roles, importance, and applicability of phytochemicals in the management of different diseases. The review focuses on different aspects of combined antimicrobial activities, the possible mechanisms involved, and the current status of research in the field. The study was conducted based on an extensive literature survey that resulted in the following hypothesis: secondary metabolites derived from plants possess remarkable therapeutic activities. The study was designed as a systematic review that ensures unbiased and accurate representations of the relevant data and information. Jadad scale selection criteria were used for qualitative analysis of the articles to assess them based on the relevant secure score (minimum and maximum scores range between 1 and 5, respectively). Articles with secure scores > 3 were considered for the study. A comprehensive literature survey was conducted using resource databases including PubMed, Google Scholar, Bielefeld Academic Search Engine, Research Gate, Scopus, Medline, and Science Direct up to June 2019. This article contains concise information about the most commonly used bioactive phytochemicals with potent antifungal and antibacterial effects.

최근 국내에서 개발된 프리스트레스가 도입되지 않은 강연선을 적용한 보-기둥 접합부시스템은 2개층 동시 시공이 가능한 2개층 1절 PC기둥 및 U자형 단부형상을 갖는 하프 PC보로 구성되어 있다. 대상 보-기둥 접합부에서는 시공성을 향상시키기 위해 철근과 비긴장강연선이 혼용배근되며, 선행된 연구에서 구조성능을 규명하기 위한 실험이 수행되었다. 본 연구에서는 선행된 실험결과와 단면해석결과를 비교검토하여 이형철근과 비긴장강연선이 혼용배근된 보의 설계방안을 제안하고자 한다. 고강도 철근에 대한 기존연구 고찰을 토대로 비긴장강연선의 설계항복강도를 제안하고, 상이한 철근과 비긴장강연선의 항복강도를 고려하여 구조설계기준을 만족하는 최소 최대 보강비, 휨강도 산정식을 제안하였다. 대상시스템에서 보의 사용성을 고려하기 위해, 현행 설계기준식을 사용하여 처짐검토 시 사용하중을 고려하여 비긴장강연선 배근비율을 제안하였으며, 균열폭 검토시 철근과 비긴장강연선의 상이한 부착특성, 항복강도, 직경, 단면적 등을 고려하여 균열폭 산정방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 본연구에서 제안된 설계방안들을 적용하여 철근과 비긴장강연선이 혼용배근된 보단면의 설계 방법을 예시하였다.

The probabilistic keyblock concept which was based upon block theory was applied to the example site by using the observed block moulds data. The more was the block failure likelihood (P(B)) which was defined by the product of the joint combination probability, the shape parameter and the instability parameter, the more were the frequencies of failures observed. If we can acquire these data during a tunnel construction stage, they will be used as a very useful data to construct another tunnel in the neighborhood. Furthermore, a sedimentary rock may have larger P(B) values than a crystalline rock, and for the given P(B) value, the percent block moulds are larger in the former than latter.

When SCP (Sand Compaction Pile) is used in the improvement of soft ground, some problems like the difficulty of vertical construction and other construction difficulties due to the use of high pressure are encountered, There is a possibility that the strength parameters used in the design may be different with those obtained from the investigation of the quality variation with depth for the irregular, then the section may be not a sand pile but a combination of sand and clay. The mixture ratio concept is used, it is defined as the quantity of sand corresponding to the replacement ratio. Using this concept, the strength parameter relationship of the replacement and mixture ratio was determined. The use of these parameters in the design of SCP is most appropriate.

In this paper, we discuss decentralized optimal fault tolerant supervisory control issues on the basis of failure analysis and diagnosis from the angle of discrete event dynamic system. We address the detectability and the observability problems, and develope fault tolerant supervisory control system upon the failure analysis and diagnosis schemes. A complete min-cut is introduced and the procedure for finding the achievable or nonachievable layered optimal legal sublanguages is suggested for a preferential option among the reachable states in the controlled plant. A layered optimal supervisory control framework is proposed upon these. We extend the concept of decentralized supervisory control by considering the problem of combination of decentralized with centralized control in case pure decentralized control happens to be inadequate. We introduce the concept of locally controllable pair and present a hybrid decentralized supervisory control framework. Finally, we propose the analytical framework for a decentralized optimal fault tolerant supervisory control systems.

A modified two-point impedance spectroscopy technique exploits the geometric constriction between an electrolyte and a cathode with an emphasis on semispherical-shaped electrolytes. The spatial limitation in the electrolyte/electrode interface leads to local amplification of the electrochemical reaction occurring in the corresponding electrolyte/electrode region. The modified impedance spectroscopy was applied to electrical monitoring of a YSZ ($Y_2O_3$-stabilized $ZrO_2$)/SSC ($Sm_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_3$) system. The resolved bulk and interfacial component was numerically analyzed in combination with an equivalent circuit model. The effectiveness of the "spreading resistance" concept is validated by analysis of the electrode polarization in the cathode materials of solid oxide fuel cells.

Hotels had main functions of providing lodging and food and beverages in the past but hotels theses days have been changing fast to satisfy changes of social paradigm. Hotels are providing various services and further more they are places to represent certain local culture by various ways including improved entertaintment factors. accommodating combined purpose, enhancing characteristics and unique factors. These new trials can be analyzed as concepts of pursuing variety, sensual expression and pursuing originality. The concept of hotel shows new trend of expressions in design by the changes. These trends of expressions can be characterized with differentiation, sameness, heterogeneity, combination and time frame. In this study, by analyzing cases that these characteristics we applied for expanding the range of understanding toward new application method and expect to be applied to appropriate design concept of hotel culture in the future.
