Using a saturated-unsaturated transient flow equation the change of hydraulic heads within a dike due to tidal fluctuation is investigated in this study. The calculation is done by the use of a software computer program called FLUMP, which is based on a FEM technique and useful to the analyses of unsaturated flow problems. Some of the program has been supplemented in this study for the application to the rise of a tide. It is assumed that a dike is composed of two materials, that the tide rises and falls with a constant amplitude of 10 meters, and that water tables are located at 0m, 5m, and lam from the minimum tidal level. For these conditions the hydraulic heads are calculated for 8 cycles(96 hours) of tidal changes. It is known from the analysis that the hydraulic heads change with tidal level in some extent and that the amplitudes of the head varies depending on the location within the dike: the maximum amplitude shows near the toe of the dike, the amplitude decreases with increasing distance from the upstream face, and beyond a certain location the heads are unaffected by the tidal differences. Assuming that the dike has been completed in a moment the hydraulic heads are nearly stabilized in 96 hours towards some constant values corresponding to a specified water table.
The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether the effect of introduction of OCS(Order Communication System) to the hospital is satisfied or not comparing the anticipated effect with the actual effect. For this purpose, a domestic hospital which has introduced and has been operating OCS for several years was chosen. Based on the internal data of S Hospital prepared before introducing OCS, researcher has analyzed the basic direction, design standard and status of operation after the introduction of OCS, etc. After analyzing the status of operations of several departments using OCS and interviewing with the chiefs of pertinent departments, a survey form was designed. Actual survey and interviews were conducted by the researcher for weeks to know whether doctors, nurses, medical technicians and clerks of the patient management dept. were satisfied with OCS and to find if they have any recommendations to improve OCS. Based on the analysis of survey, the effect of OCS was evaluated whether it has satisfied the anticipated effectiveness. For the question if they feel convenient in using OCS, doctors, nursing staffs in charge of ward and the staffs of billing dept. has answered that they were all satisfied(100%). The answers for the same question were relatively high in the case of nurses in charge of outpatient and staffs of radiography. Of course, there have been some nurses and staffs who complained for the inconvenience. However, overall satisfaction was high on the average. Some common problems occurred after the introduction of OCS were frequent errors due to instability of OCS system, paralysis of function of hardware on data back-up system and redundant investment due to erroneous choice of DB program in setting DB. It was also pointed out that lack of computer education and low participation of medical staffs has resulted in failure of developing effective software. As a result, it has lowered the efficiency of OCS. For example, some works have to be done by hands even after OCS. Based on the result of this research, recommendations to maximize the effect of OCS were presented as follows. First, strong leadership of CEO and active cooperation of doctors are mandatory. Second, all the process of hospital work should be analyzed and be redesigned in more efficient ways. Third, OCS should be designed to be user-based system which can be used efficiently by all staffs of the hospital. Forth, prior to the operation of OCS, proper tests of the program and trainings of the pertinent staff are required. Fifth, prior to the selection of hardware, BMT(Bench Marking Test) should be conducted. Sixth, before introducing OCS, staffs in charge of OCS should visit many hospitals operating the OCS system and take their cases into account.

The 2015 Revised National Curriculum emphasizes software education to develop creative and convergent talents in preparation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop competency-based training programs for informatics teachers in a rapidly changing educational environment. In this background, this study selects a framework to analyze the content of in-service training for informatics teachers through review of previous studies. By analyzing the current training programs to strengthen competencies required for informatics teachers in secondary schools, the study aims to develop implications for future in-service training programs. To this end, the study conducted a questionnaire survey of experts who participated in the development of in-service training textbooks and consulted them, then analyzed the elements of competency-based training program content and the relative importance of each competency element using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). According to the results of the analysis, the content was relatively concentrated on the competency of "Understanding and Reconstructing the National Curriculum" required for general and informatics teachers as well, which accounted for 47% of all, or 7 hours out of the total 15 hours. In contrast, the content structure lacked the competency of highly relative importance by competency element "Establishing and Using Teaching-Learning Strategies for Informatics," which took up the highest portion of 27%. These findings will be used as basic data for understanding and reflecting the areas that fall short of the development of in-service training programs for informatics teachers.
A 73-year-old Korean female patient with a fully edentulous mandible was planned to have five implant fixtures installed in the anterior mandible for the fixed prosthesis. After 3-dimensional (3D) computed tomographic scanning was transferred to OnDemand3D$^{(R)}$ (Cybermed Co., Seoul, Korea) software program for the virtual planning, five fixtures of MK III Groovy RP implants of Branemark System$^{(R)}$ (Nobel Biocare AB Co., Goteborg, Sweden) were installed in the anterior mandible between both mental foramens using In2Guide$^{(R)}$ (CyberMed Co., Seoul, Korea) mucosa-supported surgical template with Quick Guide Kit$^{(R)}$ (Osstem Implant Co., Seoul, Korea) systems. Fixture installations were completed successfully without any complications, such as mental nerve injury, bony bleedings, fenestrations and other unexpected events. Postoperative computed tomographic scans were aligned and fused to the planned implant, then angular and linear deviations were compared with the planned virtual implants. The mean angular deviation between the planned and actual implant axes was $3.42{\pm}1.336^{\circ}$. The mean distance between the planned and actual implant at the neck area was $0.544{\pm}0.290$ mm horizontally and $0.118{\pm}0.079$ mm vertically. The average distance between the planned and actual implant at the apex area was $1.166{\pm}0.566$ mm horizontally and $0.14{\pm}0.091$ mm vertically. These results could be considered more precise and accurate than previous reports, and even our recent results. The entire procedures of this case are reported and reviewed.

The quantity of light available for a space can be translated in term of the amount of energy savings through a process of a building energy simulation. To get significant energy savings in general illumination, the electric lighting system must be incorporated with a daylight - activated dimmer control. A prototype configuration of an once interior has been established and the integration between the building envelope and lighting and HVAC systems is evaluated based on computer modeling of a lighting control facility. First of all, an energy-efficient luminaire system is designed and the lighting analysis program, Lumen-Micro 2000 predicts the optimal layout of a conventional fluorescent lighting future to meet the designed lighting level and calculates unit power density, which translates the demanded met of electric lighting energy. A dimming control system integrated with the contribution of daylighting has been applied to the operating of the artificial lighting. Annual cooling load due to lighting and the projecting saving amount of cooling load due to daylighting under overcast diffuse sky m evaluated by computer software ENER-Win. In brief, the results from building energy simulation with measured daylight illumination levels and the performance of lighting control system indicate that daylighting can save over 70 percent of the required energy for general illumination in the perimeter zones through the year A 25[%] of electric energy for cooling and almost all off heating energy may be saved by dimming and turning off the luminaires in the perimeter zones.

Explosion effect on CG (Computer Graphic) a visual effect on which a higher degree of technological difficulty is required with a variety of effect elements such as Fire, Smoke, Flame, Dust, Debris, etc. integrated on it. As skills for CG software have been advanced, solutions loaded with functions of various fluid simulation have been developed. So more realistic special effects came to be available. However, in Korea, it depends just on CG program functions. Besides, enough R&D's concerned have not been followed up. Accordingly, this study is aimed at offering a production method that may effectively implement more realistic explosion effects under experimentations. To begin with, the study derives problems through a precedent study of the implementation of existing explosion effects. Then to solve them, experimental studies are performed depending on four solutions. There are accesses to the four solutions: first, Numerous Turbulent Flow, a method to allow an attribute of turbulent air in the stage of fluid simulation; second, Cache Retiming Solution produced in script; third, Multiple Volume Container based on cached data; and fourth, RGB Lighting Pipeline, a method to enhance the completion of the result from the stage of composition. Characteristics of effects applied in each stage and consecutive connections of them proved the effective implementation of more realistic explosion effects. This study may not only suppose the production method for efficient explosion effects differentiated from the previous ones but also be utilized as basic data for relevant researches.
A nonporous hollow fiber membrane contactor was used to control the concentration of oxygen dissolved in an aqueous solution, which was predicted along the hollow fiber membrane using a computer simulation. The governing ordinary differential equations were derived for the occurrent flows of the feed aqueous solution and the feed gas mixture in a membrane contactor and they were numerically solved using the 5th Runge-Kutta-Verner method with a personal computer, where the program was coded utilizing a software of the Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6. It is found that the concentration of oxygen dissolved in water increases from 30 to 64 ppm as the length of the hollow fiber increases from 0.4 to 1.2 m when the membrane of fibers are equal to be 16,000; the flow rate of the feed gas is kept to be 0.536 mol/sec; its pressure is maintained to be 486 kPa; the flow rate of the water is 16.69 mol/sec. As the flow rate of the water increases from 9.26 to 26.85 mol/sec, the concentration of oxygen decreases from 40 to 20 ppm with the constant fiber length of 0.4 m. Finally, it is observed that the concentration of oxygen increases from 33 to 69 ppm as the pressure of the feed gas increases from 298 to 847 kPa.

In digital broadcasting, it is possible to multiplex maximum one hundred audio or music programs into MPEG-2 transport stream, which is suitable for transmitting through one channel. In order to check if multiplex music programs are transmitted well, we need a multiplex audio monitoring system that monitors the programs in real-time. In analog broadcasting, we have used hardware-based audio monitoring system for a small number music programs. However, the effectiveness of hardware-based audio monitoring system from the cost and function viewpoint is so low that a new system is needed for digital broadcasting. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a software-based audio monitoring system to satisfy these requirements. In this implementation, only one PC is used without other hardware facilities, and the system monitors digital broadcasting music programs effectively. Transmitted digital broadcasting streams are demultiplexed into many music programs and the realtime value of audio level and packet error information for these programs are displayed in the screen. Thus, the system detects and shows the abnormal transmitting programs automatically. Simulation results show that effective realtime multiplex audio monitoring is possible for digital broadcasting music programs.
Recently there have been a number of researches to provide code mobility to lazy functional language (LFL) programs by translating LFL programs to Java programs. These approaches are basically baled on architectural similarities between abstract machines of LFLs and Java. The abstract machines of LFLs and Java programming language, Spineless Tagless G-Machine(STGM) and Java Virtual Machine(JVM) respectively, share important common features such as built- in garbage collector and stack machine architecture. Thus, we can provide code mobility to LFLs by translating LFLs to Java utilizing these common features. In this paper, we propose a new translation scheme which fully utilizes architectural common features between STGM and JVM. By redefining STGM as an eval-apply evaluation model, we have defined a new translation scheme which utilizes Java Virtual Machine Stack for function evaluation and totally eliminates stack simulation which causes array manipulation overhead in Java. Benchmark program translated to Java programs by our translation scheme run faster on JDK 1.3 than those translated by the previous schemes.
