  • The UCERSS algorithm is an extended MUSIC which is used to estimate incident angles of multiple wide band signals. The purpose of this paper is to extend the UCERSS in order to estimate the direction of arrivals of multiple wide band signals in multipath environment. The modifications of the UCERSS result in the wide band spatial smoothing and the UNSS approaches. Computer simulation results indicate that the performances of the UNSS are superior to those of the UCERSS and the wide band spatial smoothing method.

연진자를 위한 무태공간의 최적화 (An optimum stage-enclosure configuration for performers)

  • n optimization technique is adapted to determine the stage enclosure configuration preferred by performers. The merit function which quantifies the ease of ensemble among the performers is derived from a set of qualitative conditions recommended by researchers of hall acoustics. The ray path tracing technique based on the modified method of images is used to analyze acoustical characteristics at any locations of performers in stage enclosure. The gradient search technique is employed to find the geometric parameters which maximmize the merit function. As an example, optimum stage enclosure configuration of the trio chamber music is obtained using the computer program developed. The developed technique can be used in the design of concert hall stage and also in forming a special enclosure with movable reflecting surfaces.

  • The purpose of this paper is to make sure of identity as a paradigm of new fsahion to introduce the concept of Sumulacres by J. Baudrillard, For converting to new aesthetic value. To do this, we started observing the general concept of Simulacres, and examined Cyberpunk within thinking of Simulacres and Cyberpunk fashion at virtual space, and then divided aesthetic consciousness appeared at Cyberpunk fashion centering on the concept of Simulacres into inwards sense and outwards sense. Cyberpunk is understood to be one of tendency in the cyber cultures controlled by computer and electronic technology. It is not yet defined clearly and therefore ambiguous and still being elaborated. However, the form started changing our sense sinking into overall cultures in the World, including even movie, literature, music and fashion, and giving complex, deep cultural and artistic possibilities. Also, as a subculture, Cyberpunk is building its own cultural territory in cyber space and is experiencing more real Simulacres than that of it in the ordinary life.

Cosine Measure를 이용한 음악 동기간 유사도 계산 (Similarity Computation between Music Motifs Using Cosine Measure)

  • 음악에서 동기는 독립성을 지니는 최소 단위이며, 저작권 검사의 단위로 이용된다 따라서, 한 음악에서 약간의 변화를 가지고 반복되는 주제선율을 추출하거나, 다른 음악간의 유사도를 측정하는데 유사도 계산은 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비교되는 동기의 선율정보를 음 길이와 음높이가 함께 고려되는 시계열 데이타로 변환하고, cosine measure를 이용하여 동기간의 유사도를 계산한다. 시계열 데이타에서 유사도 계산으로 사용되는 유클리드 거리함수 대신 cosine measure를 이용한 경우, 공간상의 거리 합대신 변화 방향이 반영됨으로써 비교되는 동기간의 유사도를 정확하게 계산한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 동기간의 유사도 계산은 내용 기반 음악 검색에서 색인으로 사용되는 주제선율을 추출하거나, 다른 음악의 동기간의 유사성을 비교하는데 이용될 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 대중음악 코드진행 과정에 있어서 패턴 분석을 이용하여 멜로디를 추가하는 방법을 소개한다. 먼저, 멜로디를 신경망의 입력으로 사용되는 비트패턴으로 변환하는 방법을 기술한다. 멜로디 추가 방법은 역전파 신경망 학습을 통해 멜로디 작곡 패턴을 학습시키고 학습 된 데이터를 바탕으로 멜로디를 생성하도록 설계하였다. 실험결과 신경망 학습을 이용한 컴퓨터의 작곡 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • Although most of the people have studied English for a long time, their English conversation capability is low. When we provide them portable conversational-type English learners by the application of computer and information process technology, such portable learners can be used to enhance their English conversation capability by their conventional conversation exercises. The core technology to develop such learner is the development of a voice recognition and synthesis module under an embedded environment. This paper deals with voice recognition and synthesis, prototype of the learner module using a DSP(Digital Signal Processing) chip for voice processing, voice playback function, flash memory file system, PC download function using USB ports, English conversation text function by the use of SMC(Smart Media Card) flash memory, LCD display function, MP3 music listening function, etc. Application areas of the prototype equipped with such various functions are vast, i.e. portable language learners, amusement devices, kids toy, control by voice, security by the use of voice, etc.

엔터테인먼트 데이터를 위한 자연어 검색시스템 (A Natural Language Retrieval System for Entertainment Data)

  • Recently, as the quality of life has been improving, search items in the area of entertainment represent an increasing share of the total usage of Internet portal sites. Information retrieval in the entertainment area is mainly depending on keywords that users are inputting, and the results of information retrieval are the contents that contain those keywords. In this paper, we propose a search method that takes natural language inputs and retrieves the database pertaining to entertainment. The main components of our study are the simple Korean morphological analyzer using case particle information, predicate-oriented token generation, standardized pattern generation coherent to tokens, and automatic generation of the corresponding SQL queries. We also propose an efficient retrieval system that searches the most relevant results from the database in terms of natural language querying, especially in the restricted domain of music, and shows the effectiveness of our system.

  • 본 연구에서는 다차원 추천시스템을 기반으로 동영상 음악추천 시 평가 함수R을 극대화하기 위한 각 다차원 구성요소들은 무엇이고, 이들의 상대적 가중치에 대하여 연구하였다. 일반적으로 추천시스템의 구성변수가 많아질수록 평가 함수R을 극대화하는 것이 유리하나, 계산의 복잡성으로 예측성능과 추천유효성을 저해할 수 있어 구성변수의 증가와 추천 성능을 동시에 해결하는 것이 필요하다. 연구대상 음악동영상은 일반 영상과 달리 오디오 정보와 시선 정보를 싱크하여 감정의 흐름을 추론한다. 실험 대상자는 사용자가 선호할 것으로 예상되는 음악동영상을 추론하기 위하여 대학생으로 한정한다.

A Study on Current States and Required Technologies of Smart Speaker in Service Robot

  • Smart machines are one of the topics of our society recently. A smart machine should have a wiser or smarter function than the past. In the modern society, the environment of each family is being improved toward the direction of smart home. In this environment, smart speakers are now increasingly serving as interfaces for controlling various devices in the home, from devices that listen to conventional music. In this paper, we review the technology development trends of domestic and foreign smart speaker market, and describe the core technologies required. In Korea, while SKT and KT are dominant in the speaker market, major IT companies such as Amazon, Google and Apple are focusing on launching related products and technology development.

A Study on Technology to Counter Copyright Infringement According to NFT Transaction Types

  • In the digital world, the transactions of assets with intrinsic value can be applied to games, literature, art, and music by issuing NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) based on Blockchain; various NFT exchanges are emerging accordingly just like real world asset exchanges. However, there could be an issue of copyright infringement in those NFT transactions. Therefore, this paper has classified the types of copyright infringement that may occur in NFT exchanges and proposes the copyright infringement countermeasures according to them. For this purpose, 10 types of NFT exchange are examined. Eventually, it can be expected that the proposed countermeasures will contribute to the revitalization of the NFT market by providing solutions for those issues.
