An Accelerated Degradation Test of a Electronics Appliance Compressor (전자제품용 컴프레서의 가속열화시험에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an accelerated degradation test procedure for an electronic appliance compressor is proposed. We investigate the amount of wear of the compressor and consider several factors as accelerating factors. Finally we select the operating pressure as a main accelerating factor. The test condition of accelerated degradation test is determined. The modified accelerating test reduces the test time in design phase by using the suggested accelerating factor.

  • The noise radiated by the rotary compressor for a room air-conditioner was investigated experimentally. Noise characteristics and structural eigen modes of the compressor were identified through sound tests and modal tests each other. From these tests. we found that the accumulator has a big contribution to the noise radiation. So, various structural modifications for the accumulator were performed and these modification methods were found efficient to the noise reduction from verification tests.

  • This paper presents an analysis of eccentricity ratio of rolling piston using mobility method which is a powerful tool for analyzing dynamically-loaded journal bearings with efficiency and applicability. And, we investigate influences of design parameters (discharge pressure, radial clearance, rotational velocity of shaft, and eccentricity of compressor) on bearing load and eccentricity ratio. The results show that the discharge pressure, radial clearance and rotational velocity of shaft have significant influence on eccentricity ratio, and the discharge pressure and eccentricity of compressor have influence on bearing load.

  • Conceptual system design of a multistage centrifugal air-compressor is the first loop of design procedure. The properly designed system is important for compactness, low manufacturing cost, easy controllability, fast extension for the new specification of the compressor. A simple procedure of conceptual system design is proposed in the present study using simple analysis. A few examples of the procedure for a real system are shown and several design aspects are discussed.

  • 근래 국민생활수준의 향상에 따라 일반가정에서 필수품으로 애용되고 있는 전기냉장고와 상품용 청량음료, 식품등의 보관에 널리 이요오디는 Show case, ice cream stocker등 냉응용기의 수요가 날로 증대되어 왔고, 이들 제품의 핵심부품인 Compressor의 도입량도 매년 증가되고 있으며 국내가전업계에서 도입하는 부품의 비중으로 볼 때 상당한 부담을 안고있는것으로 간주된다. 당사에서는 그동안 도입에만 의존하던 compressor의 국산화에 착수하여 여러가지 우려곡적을 격은 결과 국산개발을 성공리에 완수하고 제품의 국산화 비율을 높이는 등 여러 측면에서 지대한 성과를 거두었다. 본고에서는 당사의 Compressor국산화 작업에 부수하였던 제반 문제점들을 열거하므로써 국내업계에 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 한다.

  • There are a lot of efforts to improve noise and vibration in compressor. It had depended on experiments to reduce the annoying noise and vibration raised by costumer complaints until the twentieth century. But a trend of noise and vibration research changed tremendously by simulation techniques. Simulation techniques are also applied to fields on acoustic and valve dynamics etc, to validate a experiment and improve the performance of various fields in noise and vibration.

  • The object of this study is structure analysis of vehicle air compressor. Structure analysis is compose to nodal solution and element solution using ANSYS code. Then analysis is partition to head part, cylinder and piston part of vehicle air compressor. Stress and strain results are satisfy to Von Mises yield criterion.

  • 4-2 compressor는 곱셈기의 부분 곱 합 트리(partial product summation tree)의 기본적인 구성요소이다. 본 논문은 고속 연산이 가능한 4-2 compressor 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 회로는 최적화된 XORXNOR와 MUX로 구성하였다. 이 회로는 기존의 회로와 비교하였을 때 회로 구성에 필요한 트랜지스터수가 12개 감소하였으며, 지연시간이 32.2% 감소하였다. 제안한 회로는 Samsung 0.18um CMOS 공정을 이용하여 HSPICE로 시뮬레이션 하였다.

  • 4-2 compressor는 곱셈기의 부분 곱 합 트리(partial product summation tree)의 기본적인 구성요소이다. 본 논문은 저 전력 특성을 갖는 4-2 compressor 구조를 제안한다. 제안한 회로는 한 개의 전가산기와 MUX로 구성하였다. 이 회로는 기존의 회로와 비교하였을 때 회로 구성에 필요한 트랜지스터수가 14개 감소하였으며, 6.3%의 전력소모가 감소하였다. 제안한 회로는 Samsung 0.18um CMOS 공정을 이용하여 HSPICE로 시뮬레이션 하였다.

Experimental study on cooling performance characteristics of hybrid refrigeration system in a heavy duty vehicle (상용차 하이브리드 냉방시스템 냉방 성능 특성 연구)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the cooling performance characteristics of a hybrid refrigeration system in a heavy duty vehicle. The tested hybrid refrigeration system had additionally an electric compressor besides the present mechanical compressor for selective use according to the operating conditions. The applied electric compressor was a scroll type and with 18.0 cc displacement. In order to analyze the performance characteristics of the hybrid refrigeration system with respect to the cooling capacity and Coefficient of Performance (COP), other components, including two different types of compressors, were installed and tested under various operating conditions such as compressor speed and air flow rate of the evaporator. When the electric compressor was operated at 4,500 rev/min, the cooling capacity was about 4.0kW and COP was 3.5. When the mechanical compressor was operated, whereas the cooling capacity was higher than the electric controlled compressor, COP was lower due to the larger displacement and higher power consumption. To analyze the hybrid system operating characteristics due to reasonable cooling capacity with electric compressor operation, the mechanical compressor and electric compressor were operated by turns every 10 minutes under certain system operating conditions. Because surge pressure occurred when both compressors were switched on, the operating strategy required some time to balance the system pressure.
