발효기를 이용한 느타리버섯 봉지재배 경영사례 (Study Case on the Bag Cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus Using Fermenter)

  • The purpose of this study was to produce Pleurotus ostreatus using fermenter with bag cultivation. These results are as follows. 1. While mushroom composts were being fermented in a fermenter, the physical property of the fermented composts was getting better when there isn't any screw or revolving flies in the fermenter and the strength of pressing the composts was getting less. 2. The composts were fermented well as slaked lime of 1% density added to the composts. 3. According to the result of examining our fermenting ways, composts were in the best condition after being fermented for 48 hours since the temperature in a fermenter has come to 60℃, which could be reached by heating the fermenter by 40℃ after putting compost materials and water into it. 4. The good condition of fermenting could be maintained by controlling the speed of revolving flies, therefore the speed be down when the temperature is above 60℃ and up bellow 60℃. 5. Since the composts had been added with 1.5~2% of cottonseed meal or rice bran, the fermented composts were in good condition and also the quantity and quality of the mushroom produced on the fermented composts were satisfied. 6. There were needed 7 hours of labour for 3days from the first day of putting composts into a fermenter for fermenting 3.5M/T(10,000~12,000bags of 750~800g per bag) of composts to the third day of finishing the fermenting work, and also the cost was 112,066₩(130$) including 52,066₩(60$) of electric charge and fuel expense.

인산질비료 및 인산질강화퇴비가 수도의 수량 및 수량 구성요소에 미치는 영향 (The effect of superphosphate fertilizer and composts enriched with superphosphate on the grain yield and yield components of rice)

  • 이 시험은 비옥도가 중위로 보이는 유기공함량 5.0%, 전질소함량 2.8%, 인산 166ppm, 가리 1.13me/100g 및 규산함량 3.9ppm이 되는 논에서 고수준의 인산시용의 효과와 아울러 완숙 ?퇴비에 중과인산석회의 혼적에 의한 인산질강화퇴비의 시용이 수도의 생육과 수량구성요소 및 수량에 미치는 영향을 알고저 실시하였는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 인산의 효과는 10a당 5kg, 7.5kg 및 10kg의 시용구간에 수량과 그밖에 수량 구성각요소들은 유의차가 없으며 인산증시의 효과가 없었다. 2. 완숙한 볏짚퇴비 1000kg/10a 시용과 인산 5kg, 7.5kg 및 10kg/0a 시용구간에 현미수량은 통계적으로 유의차가 없었으나 수치적으로는 퇴비 1000kg/10a 시용구 220kg 인산 5kg/10a시용구 232kg, 7.5kg/10a 시용구 266kg 및 10kg/.0a시용구 243kg을 냈다. 3. 인산비료 즉 중과인산석회와 비료를 수도에 시용하는 경우에는 시용전에 그들을 미리 혼적하여 두었다가 시용한 것이 수량구성각요소가 증수의 방향으로 발현되며 현미량이 증대하였다. 4. 인산과 퇴비시용에 있어서의 교호작용은 각수량구성요소에 따라 구구하였는데 수량에 있어서는 인산과 비료를 병용하는 것이 유리함을 인정하였다. 5. 이 시험의 10개처리구중에서 현미수량이 가장많았던 것은 10a당 인산 7.5kg과 퇴비 1,000kg을 3개월간 혼적해두었다가 시용한 구와 인산 5kg과 퇴비 1.000kg을 마찬가지로 3개월간 혼적해 두었다가 시용한 구가 가장 많았다. 6. 이 시험에서 퇴비의 시용은 등열율을 높이는데 효과가 컸다.

고령지 시용 부산물 퇴비의 이화학 및 분광학적 특성 (Physicochemical and Spectroscopic Properties of By-product Composts Applied in Gangweon Highland)

  • 이 연구는 강원도 고령지에 투입되고 있는 부산물퇴비의 특성을 평가하기 위하여 현지에서 채취한 부산물퇴비의 화학적, 물리적, 분광학적 특성 및 부숙단계별 특성을 조사하였다. 등록된 부산물퇴비의 평균 유기물함량은 33%, C/N비는 13, NaCl은 0.8%이었고, 수분함량은 53%로 현행비료공정규격과 큰 차이가 없었으며, 중금속함량은 허용기준치 이하로 나타났고, Odor, $NH_3$ 가스, $CO_2$ 가스함량은 미등록 부산물퇴비에 비해 등록된 부산물퇴비가 상대적으로 낮은 값을 보였다. 미등록된 부산물퇴비의 특성 분석 결과, 유기물함량은 13종 중 3종이 25% 미만을 나타냈고, C/N비는 10 이하의 퇴비가 5종, NaCl 함량은 8종이 허용기준치를 초과했다. 수분함량은 8종이 50%이상이었고, 16% 이하가 2종으로 나타났다. 중금속함량은 부산물퇴비 모두 허용기준치 이하였고, Odor와 $NH_3$, $CO_2$ 함량은 등록된 퇴비에 비해 매우 높은 값을 보였다. 분광학적 특성 분석 결과 등록 부산물퇴비는 B와 P형태로 주로 분류되었고, 미등록된 부산물퇴비의 분광학적 특성 분석 결과 Rp와 P형태가 많았다. 홍천과 양평의 돈분부산물을 사용하여 부숙 단계별로 냄새와 $NH_3$ 함량을 조사한 결과 부숙기간이 경과할수록 현저히 감소하였고, 14일이 경과한 후에 부식산의 형태는 fulvic acid에서 나타난 P형태를 제외하고 모두 Rp형태로 분류되었다.

돈분발효퇴비의 부숙기간이 상추 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Maturation Periods of Pig Manure Composts on Growth of Leaf lettuce(Lactuca safiva L.))

  • To clarify the proper and safe duration of maturation periods for sawdust-pig manure composts, leaf lettuces were applied with pig manure composts fermented for 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 days and 1 year (control) and cultivated in a plastic house with or without additional PE film tunnel. The changes in physiochemical properties of soil and leaf lettuce growth were measured. Shorter duration of maturation periods enhanced the generation of N $H_3$ gas from the composts and resulted in significant decrease in seed germination, growth and yield of leaf lettuce. Under with and without PE tunnel conditions the concentration of N $H_3$ from compost over 3.8 and 2.1 mg/100g composts, respectively induced growth reduction. In proportion to the increase of maturation duration saw-dust containing pig manure exhibited decrease in C/N ratio, N $H_4^{+}$-N, N $H_4^{+}$N $O_3^{-}$ ratio but increase in N $O_3^{-}$-N contents. In case of applying pig manure compost without PE film tunnel condition the minimum maturation period of pig manure composts for safe leaf growth was 60 days, while minimum 75 days of maturation was required when applied with PE film tunnel. tunnel.

Quality assessment of mushroom (Agricus bisporus) composts during production using Near Infrared spectroscopy

  • Cultural conditions during production of compost, using wheat straw and chicken litter as raw materials, will affect the microbial and biochemical characteristics, leading to a wide variation in mushroom productivity. Over the past 10 years, chemical and instrumental methods, suitable for assessing compost quality have been studied in Northern Ireland. In addition, the use of near subject of investigation over the past 4 years. Previous studies have shown that NIRS can be used fer assessing quality of dried and milled composts. The aim of the current investigation is to develop NIR calibrations for key quality parameters such as dry matter, pH, nitrogen, carbon, ash, microbial population and fibre factions during the two stages of production using spectra of fresh composts. Near infrared reflectance measurements of fresh composts prepared by 6 producers were made during a two-year period. Although the spectra of fresh composts were dominated by two moisture peaks at 1450 nm and 1940 nm, good calibrations for determining moisture content, conductivity, pH, nitrogen, carbon and fibre fractions were developed. The results of quality assessment during commercial production using the calibrations will be presented and discussed.

Quality Characteristics of Livestock Feces Composts Commercially Produced in Gyeonggi Province in 2008

  • This survey was conducted to promote the environment-friendly use and recycling of livestock feces by obtaining information about the current state of livestock feces composts manufactured in Gyeonggi Province. Therefore, some aspects of quality and manufacturing techniques of livestock feces composts (LFCs) were examined especially in relation to the LFCs quality standard (LQS). By surveying the 70 composting plants in Gyeonggi Province, the total commercial production of LFCs in 2008 was estimated to be about $480,000Mg\;year^{-1}$ and they were manufactured mainly by using both mechanical mixer and bottom air blower. LFCs were composed mainly of chicken feces 29.2%, pig+chicken feces 23.1%, pig feces 20.0%, livestock feces+oil cake 12.3%, pig+chicken+cattle feces 10.8% and pig+cattle feces 4.6%. On the basis of the current official standard which was revised on March 2010, 11 composts out of surveyed 76 ones did not meet the LQS due to inadequate content of water (5), OM/N (1), NaCl (2) and Zn (3). The satisfaction rate to LQS by manufacturers was 100% in the composts produced by farmer's cooperative societies, 80.7% by civil factories, and 44.4% by farming guilds, respectively. The OM/N declined by adding chicken feces and oil cake, while Ca content was increased by the addition of chicken feces and NaCl was increased by adding cattle feces.

인삼 양직모밭 약토대체 부산물퇴비 시용 연구 (Studies on the Application of Byproduct Composts as Substitute for Yacto in Yang-jik Nursery of Ginseng)

  • This study was carried out to select economical byproduct composts as the substitute for the traditional organic fertilizer, Yacto, in the cultivation of ginseng seedlings, and to investigate the application method of a selected compost. Among tested byproduct composts, popped rice hull compost was the best substitute for Yacto, while the application of domestic animal manure composts resulted in red skinned roots of ginseng seedlings. Optimal mixing ratio of the popped rice hull compost with virgin soil (fine sand) were 3~4 : 1 in bulk, showing the same root yield compared to that of conventional seedbed soil. When the popped rice hull compost was lower than $1\;{\pm}\;0.1%$ in nitrogen content, the expeller cake of oil seed was added to seedbed soil to rise nitrogen content until $1\;{\pm}\;0.1%$.

GPS를 이용한 축분퇴비의 농지환원 실태조사 (GPS Application in Investigating Land Application of Animal Waste)

  • A portable GPS receiver and a navigation software were used to investigate land application practices of manure composts. The field investigation indicated that most of the land application of manure composts were observed before April. Plowing for incorporation of manure with soil were continued from the middle of April. The results also revealed that over 60% of the farms were within 1 km from livestock farms from which manure composts were transported. Most of the farms having land application were dry field rather than paddies, Some of fields located near livestock farms frequently experience over-application of manure composts. It seems to have been difficult to complete the investigation in this study without the Gps/navigation system. The GPS/navigation system will become an essential tool in field investigations such as ecological/environmental monitoring works that require repeated observation at a number of sites.

폐하수슬러지 퇴비 시용이 토양의 화학성 및 옥수수의 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Municipal Sewage and Industrial Wastewater Sludge Composts on Chemical Properties of Soil and Growth of Corn Plant)

  • 하수 및 공단폐수슬러지의 농지이용가능성을 구명하기 위하여 이들 슬러지를 주 원료로 하여 생산된 퇴비를 토양에 시용하여 옥수수를 재배함으로써 시기별 토양중 화학적 특성변화, 중금속 함량 변화, 작물생육상황, 식물체 부위별 무기성분 흡수량 및 중금속 함량 등을 조사하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 퇴비 시용으로 토양중 유기물, 질소, 인산 및 카리 함량이 증가되었고, 토양중 중금속 함량도 증가되었으나 매우 미미한 증가였으며 규제 농도에 훨씬 못 미치는 농도였다. 옥수수의 생체중은 각 퇴비구 및 삼요소+ 각 퇴비구가 삼요소구에 비하여 각각 약 $9{\sim}19%$$60{\sim}79%$ 증가하였다. 퇴비시용구가 삼요소구에 비하여 옥수수의 잎 및 줄기에서 질소, 인산, 카리, 석회 및 고토의 흡수량이 증가되었다.

Phylogenetic placement of thermophilic ammonium-tolerant bacteria and their distribution in various composts

  • Objective: Previous studies isolated the thermophilic ammonium-tolerant (TAT) bacterium Bacillus sp. TAT105 that grew in composting swine manure with the assimilation of ammonium nitrogen and reduced ammonia emissions during composting. Those studies also investigated the potential for applications of TAT105 to composting. It was observed that the concentration of TAT bacteria, phylogenetically close to TAT105, increased during composting. The objectives of this study were to identify the phylogenetic placement of these TAT bacteria and investigate their distribution in various composts. Methods: The phylogenetic placement of TAT105 was examined based on the sequence of 16S ribosomal RNA gene. The genomic DNA homology between TAT105 and the type strains of bacterial species that were phylogenetically close to TAT105 were examined by DNA-DNA hybridization. Moreover, the tolerances of these strains to NH4Cl and NaCl were analyzed using a cultivation method. Concentrations of TAT bacteria in various composts were evaluated using an agar medium specific to TAT bacteria and polymerase chain reaction followed by restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. Results: TAT105 was most closely related to Bacillus thermolactis and Bacillus kokeshiiformis. Many variants of these species have been detected in various environments, including composts. The type strains of these species displayed TAT characteristics that were similar to those of TAT105. Among the composts examined in this study, TAT bacteria were detected at high concentrations (105 to 109 colony forming units per gram of dry matter) in most of the composts made from cattle manure, swine manure, bark, and excess sludge. Conclusion: TAT bacteria comprised B. thermolactis, B. kokeshiiformis, and their phylogenetically close relatives. They were considered to be adaptable to composting of some certain materials, and a favorable target for searching for strains with some useful function that could be applied to composting of these materials.
