This study is to suggest the considerations in the rules for authorized access points for collocation of music work by figuring out the directions of authorized access points in FRBR, LRM, ICP 2016, RDA, and BIBFRAME, and by analyzing RDA rules for attributes and authorized access points of music works and expression and VIAF examples. First, an aggregated authorized access points were suggested as the direction of authorized access points, and original title may be selected as preferred title and the authorized access point may be based on forms in one of the languages suited to the users, if the original title is not normally suited. Second, music works's authorized access points is consisted of composer authorized access point and preferred title, and of adapter's authorized access point and preferred title in case of lacks of responsibility in composer. Also, the authorized access point of Korean traditional music work must be reviewed according to work types considering the responsibility of composer. Third, the controlled vocabularies for name of music type, medium of performance, and key could be considered for describing the attributes of work and expression. This study would be the foundation study for the authorized access point of music work, and additional research should be completed through surveying music user's need.

The purpose of this study is to provide methods to improve the teaching of piano technique of intermediate-level learners through the works of Stephen Heller by focusing on rhythm and balance. Although a romantic-era composer, Stephen Heller's works are not well-known. However, when analyzing his compositions, many require the player to focus on their foundational piano techniques and musicality. Heller composed many interesting works including etudes that allow intermediate-level pianists to develop their musicality as much as those playing Chopin or Liszt from the same era. This study presents teaching methods for developing piano technique by focusing on rhythm and balance, and for enhancing musicality to improve the quality and significance of piano education and pedagogical research.

For the successful R&D and deployment of LED-based green energy lighting systems, the real-time power quality measurement of both various non-linear power signals including pulse waveform, spike waveform, etc and the undesired-signals including harmonics, sag, swell, etc is required. In this paper, we propose a low-cost power quality measurement (PQM) method for low- (60Hz-several KHz) to high-frequency (several tens KHz) power signals, which are generated by green-energy lighting systems, and implement a PQM testbed using TI TMS320F28335 MCU. The proposed algorithm is programmed using C in the CCS (Code Composer Studio) 3.3 environment and is verified using test signals generated by an arbitrary signal generator, NF-WF1974. In the implemented testbed, we can measure various non-linear current signals that LED SMPS generates, analyze harmonics by fast Fourier transform, and test sag, swell, and interruption using wavelet transform.

In this paper, we implement and verify performance monitor for parallel signal processing system, using DSP Starter Kit(DSK) of which the basic Processor is TMS302C6711 chip. The key ideas of this performance monitor is, using Real Time Data Exchange(RTDX) for the Purpose of real-time data transfer and function of DSP/BIOS, the ability to measure the Performance measure like DSP workload, memory usage, and bridge traffic. In the simulation, FFT, 2D FFT, Matrix Multiplication, and Fir Filter, which are widely used DSP algorithms, have been employed. Using performance monitor and Code Composer Studio from Texas Instrument(Tl) , the result has been recorded according to different frequencies, data sizes, and buffer sizes for a single wave file. The accuracy of our performance monitor has been verified by comparing those recorded results.

In terms of B2B, business partners require works that define 1h13ir ability to operate business collaboration. The document outlining collaboration is the basis of improving the system of business partner and its interoperability. In addition, the definition of business interaction that is based on the documents demonstrating inter-cooperation of business companies is needed to function interoperability properly, and business trading is performed depending on the documents that define reciprocal action of collaboration. In ebXML, CPP(Collaboration-Protocol Profile) defines one business partner's technical capabilities to engage in electronic business collaborations with other partners by exchanging electronic messages. A CPA(Collaboration-Protocol Agreement) documents the technical agreement between two partners to engage in electronic business collaboration. In this paper, I draw up a plan for a composer system that deals with business collaboration document to ameliorate the interoperability of B2B companies.

The purpose of this study is 3 dimensional modeling of lower part of drilling system in offshore rig and simulation of drilling process. Recently, shipbuilding companies have been focusing on offshore rigs due to their high added-value and the reduced demand of new shipbuilding. In most cases, however, the basic design, installation and management of offshore rig are carried out by foreign companies. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain the knowledge and information of drilling system. In this study drilling devices, BOP(Blowout Preventor) and cementing job and mud circulation related components are included as the main components of offshore rig. The structure and function of them were analyzed from a viewpoint of object-oriented technique. On the basis of this analysis they were modeled in the 3 dimensional structure with 3D software tool such as CATIA and 3DVIA Composer. The drilling process was simulated according to the scenario of drilling operation. This simulation system can be effectively used for an educational tool for students and engineers in ocean plant industries.

The purpose of this study is to develop linked data of authority data in national archives of Korea as a cornerstone for linked data cloud of Korea. The study analyzed data structure of authority data as well as a retrieval system. It finally developed linked data based on RDF/OWL, Dublin Core, and SKOS. The study also employed TopBraid ComposerTM as a tool for ontology construction. The visualization of the tool provides users with flexible search and browsing between data as well as access of detail authority data. It complements the search of a current system in terms of flexible linking between records and authority data. The study also suggests future work to publish linked data of archival data set itself and make rich relationships among data in museums, libraries, and other archives.

This thesis focuses on the five functions of film music as proposed by American composer Aaron Copland, and the application of these functions in the modern film Cinema Paradiso featuring music by Italian composer Ennio Morricone. Morricone has shown the application of these techniques in Western films such as the 1960s film A Fistful of Dollars and the top-rated 1980s films The Mission and Cinema Paradiso. Through his work, he maximizes the effects of representation in each scene by using variations of the theme music to effectively apply the functional theory of film music. Cinema Paradiso, especially, pursued the consistency and diversity of film at the same time. And it emphasized the specific atmosphere, intending to provide continuity in the scenes during the progress of the film. This thesis provides an understanding of the variation technique in film music, and the functionality of film music from scene to scene, as used by Morricone, for students majoring in film music.

In order to learn an existing song and create a new song using an artificial neural network, it is necessary to convert the song into numerical data that the neural network can recognize as a preprocessing process, and one-hot encoding has been used until now. In this paper, we proposed a note embedding method using notes as a basic unit and a bar embedding method that uses the bar as the basic unit, and compared the performance with the existing one-hot encoding. The performance comparison was conducted based on quantitative evaluation to determine which method produced a song more similar to the song composed by the composer, and quantitative evaluation methods used in the field of natural language processing were used as the evaluation method. As a result of the evaluation, the song created with bar embedding was the best, followed by note embedding. This is significant in that the note embedding and bar embedding proposed in this paper create a song that is more similar to the song composed by the composer than the existing one-hot encoding.

The study of arrangement in musical theatre has been relatively marginalized compared to the playwriting and composition. However, as complete musical music can never exist without the process of arranging, the arranger is a major creator who plays the most important role as a playwright or composer, and finally makes a decisive contribution to enhancing the completeness of the musical. Based on the tracks of (2006), (2007) and (2008), among the prestigious Tony Awards winners for Best Orchestrations, the feature is divided into instrumentation, instrumental combinations and dispositions, and insertions of counterpoint. So, we can discover the new imagination and creativity of the arranger, and the arranger's clever orchestration techniques that meet the composer's intentions.
