Damped Vibrations of Axially-Stressed Laminated Beams using Zig-Zag Finite Element (축방향 하중을 받는 점탄성물질이 심어진 적층보의 지그재그요소를 이용한 진동해석)

  • Dynamic analysis of laminated beams with a embedded damping layer under tension or compression axial load is investigated. Improved Layer-Wise Zig-Zag Beam Theory and Interdependent Kinematic Relation using the governing equations of motion are incorporated to model the laminated beams with a damping layer and a corresponding beam zig-zag finite element is developed. Flexural frequencies and modal loss actors under tension or compression axial load are calculated based on Complex Eigenvalue Method. The effect of the axial tension and compression load on the frequencies and loss factors is discussed.

  • Active control of flexural vibrations of smart laminated composite beams has been carried out using piezoceramic sensor/actuator and viscoelastic material. The beams with passive constrained layer damping have been analyzed by formulating the equations of motion through the use of extended Hamilton's principle. The dynamic characteristics such as damping ratio and modal damping of the beam are calculated for various fiber orientations by means of iterative complex eigensolution method. This paper addresses a design strategy of laminated composite under flexural vibrations to design structure with maximum possible damping capacity.

  • We first define the concept of the generalized analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms of a class of functionals on function space induced by a generalized Brownian motion process and study of functionals which plays on important role in physical problem of the form $ F(x) = {\int^{T}_{0} f(t, x(t))dt} $ where f is a complex-valued function on $[0, T] \times R$. We next show that the generalized analytic Fourier-Feynman transform of the convolution product is a product of generalized analytic Fourier-Feynman transform of functionals on functin space.

  • This paper presents a control scheme for the motion of a 2 DOF robot manipulator. Robot manipulators are multivariable nonlinear systems. Fuzzy logic is avaliable human-like control without complex mathematical operation and is suitable to nonlinear system control. In this paper, Implementation of fuzzy logic control of robotic manipulators shows. Algorithm has been performed with simulation packages MATRIXx and SystemBuild.

  • HILS is widely used in the test and evaluation of complex control system. This paper describes the structure of HILS and the control loop performance monitoring of HILS system Distal path delay and FMS(Flight Motion Simulator) dynamics were estimated and output of the estimated model were compared with real FMS output. The monitoring system can be used for analyzing the result of HILS.

  • This research is concerned with dynamic modeling of satellite with deployable solar arrays equipped with strain energy hinges (SEH). It is found from experiments that the SEH has nonlinear dynamic characteristics and complex buckling behavior, which is difficult to explain theoretically In this paper, we use an equivalent one dimensional nonlinear torsional spring for the SEH. Lagrangian equations of motion are used for the derivations.

  • In this paper, we propose the dynamic scene segmentation algorithm using a cross mask and edge information. This method, a combination of the conventioanl feature-based and pixel-based approaches, uses edges as features and determines moving pixels, with a cross mask centered on each edge pixel, by computing similarity measure between two consecutive image frames. With simple calcualtion the proposed method works well for image consisting of complex background or several moving objects. Also this method works satisfactorily in case of rotaitional motion.

  • This paper presents a desing of a PWM programmable controller for industrial robot to be utilized in process which reqires various movements and repeating operations. To be specific, a low-level robot language is constructed which makes easy for the user to program complex robot motion, and an interpreter is developed to execute the program. Also, related hardware and software, and monitor program for convenience of user are implemented. When the proposed controller is applied to the catresian coordinate 4-axis manipulator, it reveals that the error probabilities of X,Y and Z axis as 0.033%, 0.023%,0.028% respectively.
