고주파에서의 카본 블랙/에폭시 복합재료 복소유전율 모사에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Simulation of Complex Permittivities of Carbon Black/Epoxy Composites at a High Frequency Band)

  • 본 논문에서는 카본 블랙/에폭시 복합재료 적층판의 유전율에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 유전율 측정은 $1\;GHz\~18\;GHz$의 주파수 영역에서 수행하였으며, 복합재료의 유전율은 카본 블랙 함유율의 주파수의 함수로 얻을 수 있었다. 유전율 및 전기 전도도의 주파수 특성은 Percolation 이론에서 제시된 경향을 만족하였다. 측정에 사용된 주파수 영역은 전기 전도도가 주파수의 함수관계를 가지는 최소 주파수인 임계주파수보다 크며, 복합재료의 유전율과 전기 전도도는 카본 블랙의 함유량과 일정한 관계를 가졌다. 본 연구에서는, 카본 블랙의 함유율에 따른 복합재료의 유전율을 모사하는 혼합법칙을 얻기 위하여 Lichteneker-Rother 방정식에 기초한 새로운 방법이 제시되었으며, 혼합법칙으로 계산된 복합재료 유전율 모사 결과는 실험적으로 얻은 유전율을 비교적 잘 모사하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this study, Ultra-thin films of (N-ducosyl quinolinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex were prepared on the hydrophilic substrate by Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) technique. By measure of UV-vis spectra and capacitance, deposition status was confirmed together with the thickness of natural oxidized aluminum film inside a device and dielectric constant of (N-docosyl quinolinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex. The electrical properties of (N-docosyl 7uin7linium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex were investigated at room temperature. The conductivity of this film measured by the direction uf either vertical or horizontal axis is results in a quite different value.

  • 금속이온 농도를 변화시켰을때의 IMI-O 고분자 LB막에 대한 단분자막의 거동과 MIM구조의 LB막 소자에 대한 전기 특성 및 유전 특성을 조사하였다. π-A 등온선의 측정에서 금속 이온 농도가 증가함에 따라 단분자가 차지하는 극한 단면적이 증가하였다. 이러한 변화는 금속이온 농도 변화에 따른 금속이온의 강도 증가에 의한 단분자막의 거동의 차이에 의한 것으로 생각된다. 전압-전류 특성에서 ohmic 영역의 기울기로부터 구한 전기전도도는 금속 이온의 농도가 증가할 수록 증가하였다. 이것은 전개분자와 금속이온간의 결합에 의한 극한 단면적의 변화가 전기전도도에 직접적인 관계가 있기 때문으로 생각된다. 한편, 유전 특성에서 금속이온의 농도가 증가할 수록 허수부 유전율이 최대가 되는 주파수 역시 증가하였다. 따라서 금속이온의 증가에 의해 완화시간 γ가 감소되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The Estimation of the Dielectric Strength Decrease of the Solid-solid Interfaces by using the Applied Voltage to Breakdown Time Characteristics

  • In the complex insulation system that is used in extra high voltage(EHV) devices, according to the trend for electric power equipment of high capacity and reduction of its size, macro interfaces between two different bulk materials which affect the stability of insulation system exist inevitably. In this paper, the dielectric strength decrease of the macro interfaces between epoxy and ethylene propylene diene terpolymer(EPDM) was estimated by using the applied voltage to breakdown time characteristics. Firstly, the AC short time dielectric strength of specimens was measured at room temperature. Then, the breakdown time was measured under the applied constant voltage which is 70% of short time breakdown voltage. With these processes, the life exponent n was determined by inverse power law, and the long time breakdown voltage can be evaluated. The best condition of the interface was LOS(low viscosity(350 cSt) silicone oil spread specimen). When 30 years last on the specimens, the breakdown voltage was estimated 44% of the short time breakdown voltage.

  • In this study, crystal structural changes and dielectric properties of $(1-x)Pb(Yb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-xPbTiO_3$ ((1-x)PYN-xPT) solid solutions were measured and analyzed with respect to the $PbTiO_3$ (PT) contents ($0.40{\leq}x{\leq}0.60$). From X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements, (1-x)PYN-xPT solid solutions showed changes of the crystal structure from pseudocubic ($0.40{\leq}x{\leq}0.44$) to tetragonal ($0.52{\leq}x{\leq}0.60$) on increasing PT contents and exhibited the coexistence of pseudocubic and tetragonal phase near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) composition ($0.46{\leq}x{\leq}0.50$). The dielectric constant showed a maximum value at x = 0.46 and the maximum values in (1-x)PYN-xPT decreased with higher PT contents. The phase transition temperatures of (1-x)PYN-xPT solid solutions increased over the whole composition ranges tested ($0.40{\leq}x{\leq}0.60$).

  • A site 복합 페로브스카이트 구조인 $(Na_{1/2}{\;}La_{1/2})TiO_3$ 세라믹스의 고주파 유전특성을 조사하였다. $1000^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 하소하고 $1350^{\circ}{\;}~{\;}1450^{\circ}C$에서 소결했을 때 치밀한 소결체가 되었다. NLT의 겉보기 밀도는 $4.95g/\textrm{cm}^3$, 상대밀도는 96.4%였으며, 격자상수(a)가 $3.873{\AA}$인 단순 입방정 구조였다. NLT의 유전율은 밀도가 높아짐에 따라 증가하였고 품진계수 Q는 평균 결정립 크기가 커짐에 따라 증가하였다. $1400^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 소결한 NLT는 ${\varepsilon}_r=125$, Q=2842(fo=3 GHz), ${\tau}_f=465$의 유전특성을 나타내었다.

  • The electrical conductivity of TiO$_2$doped ZnO was investigated by means of complex impedance measurement and voltage-current source and meaurement unit. The e1ectrical conductivity of TiO$_2$added ZnO was increased with increasing the concentration of TiO$_2$. The calculated relative dielectric constant was decreased with increasing the concentration of TiO$_2$. The increase of electrical conductivity seems to be the effect of TiO$_2$donor doping.

  • A numerical method for scattering of electromagnetic waves from a periodic strip grating over a grounded dielectric slab is considered for TE and TM polarization cases from the viewpoints of both reflection grating problem and leaky wave antenna problem. The analysis is based on a mode expansion method, floquet's theorem, and the method of moments. Numerical results involving some combinations of geometric parameters are presented in terms of complex propagation constant (kd-$\beta$d diagram), radiation pattern, and relative scattered powers of spectral modes. In particular, the relationship between complex propagatio constnat form the viewpoint of leaky wqve antenna problem and Off-bragg and bragg blazing phenomena from the viewpoint of reflecton graing problem is investigated.

Reflection of a gaussian beam from a planar dielectric interface

  • When a Gaussian beam is incident to a planar dielectric interface at an angle other than Brewster angle or the critical angle of total reflection, we derive the six nonspecular effects of rotation, lateral shift, focal shift, Rayleigh length change, magnitude and phase changes in the complex amplitude of the reflected beam simultaneously by taking account of the boundary condition. In the derivation we assume a Gaussian beam of fundamental mode to emerge from the interface and then match at the interface the constant, linear, and quadratic variations of the amplitude and phase of the reflected beam with those of the incident beam multiplied by the reflection coefficient. Our calculation shows that the six nonspecular effects can result from a linear variation of the natural logarithm of the reflection coefficient at the interface.

복합 Ferrite 전파흡수체의 유전율 제어 및 임피던스 정합 (Permittivity Adjustment and Impedance Matching of Ferrite Composite Microwave Absorber)

  • A proper combination of complex permeability and permittivity is necessary to produce the zero-reflection microwave absorber with an impedance matching. Increasing of dielectric permittivity and development of an impedance matching was investigated in ferrite-rubber composite specimens by addition of conducting materials. Graphite powder of high dielectric constant was added to the composite specimens to increase the permittivity. The precise estimation of graphite content to produce the matched-wave-impedance absorber at a given frequency can be made by using the numerically derived solution map of impedance matching. It was suggested that permittivity adjustment is an effective technique to obtained the microwave absorber with both good absorbing properties and small thickness as well.
