색채 이미지 유형에 따른 성별 색채 선호도에 관한 연구 - 패션샵 파사드의 색채 적용 관점에서 - (A Study on the Color Preferences of Genders of Color Image Types - From the Perspectives of Color Application of the Fashion Shop Facade -)

  • This study researched about gender color preference as basic data for color application of fashion shop Facade. A HUE TONE system from V(vivid) to DK(dark) was used based on 10 colors of the IRI-120 color chart, color preference according to gender was investigated through a survey on males and females of over teenage years, and it was analyzed and presented as a color matching chart. And it was suggested as a color guideline through comprehensive analysis. Few definitions can be given through the results of this study. First, the preference degree according to gender was similar but different senses were shown visually even though the same adjective expressive vocabulary of a color image was suggested. This means there is an unchanging basic conservative disposition that males and females do not have and therefore they infer different ideas according to various environments and factors. Second, females showed more sensitive response to colors than males in the gender color preference result, which confirmed the deviation of each color group that is characteristically preferred according to a category. Third, high preferred color matches according to gender were shown for each vocabulary in various senses such as similar color matching, complementary color matching, separation color matching, and accent color matching. A universal empirical theory by general sensibility was obtained as the purpose of this study. This study suggested securement of a color design planning as basic data and the extent of usability by quantitatively showing the order of priority through the survey and analysis. Thus, the results of this study will be a great help as basic data for invigoration and commercialization of a color planning for designers and users.

  • 본 연구에서는 동일한 이미지에서 유도되는 감성적 반응이 색채의 변화에 영향을 받는가에 대하여 살펴보았다. 특히, 이미지의 어의(semantic) 내용에 전형적으로 연상되는 색채와 상반되는 색(보색)이 색조로 적용될 경우, 이미지에 대한 감성적 반응에 변화가 나타나는가에 중점을 두어 진행하였다. 이를 위해 기쁨(Pleasure)과 각성(Arousal)으로 이루어진 감성 축의 각 사분면에 해당하는 감성 이미지들을 International Affective Picture System(IAPS)에서 5장씩 추출하여 이 미지 자극으로 활용하였다. 선택된 이미지는 내용과 전형적으로 연상되는 색, 보색, 그리고 무채색 톤으로 실험에 사용하였으며 각 이미지에 대한 기쁨과 각성에 대한 감성적 반응은 Self Assessment Manikin(SAM)을 활용하여 측정하였다. 실험 결과 이미지의 내용에서 전형적으로 연상되는 색채의 보색이 이미지의 색조로 적용될 경우 감성적 반응이 소극적으로 나타나는 결과가 관찰되었다.

  • CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) 혹은 CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)와 같은 소자를 이용하여 빛을 전기적 신호인 Image로 재구성하는 촬상소자(Color Capture Device)는 촬영환경이 어두워지면 Dynamic Range가 작아지고, Noise가 상대적으로 심해진다[1][2]. 본 논문에서는 촬영 환경이 어두울 때, Resolution을 Preserving하는 Pixel Pitch가 큰 촬상 소자와 Motion Blur를 억제하는 Exposure Time이 긴 촬상 소자의 조합을 신호처리로 구현하여, 신호의 Power를 향상시켜 Dynamic Range를 키우고 Noise의 Boost-up을 억제하여 SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio)을 향상시키는 방식으로, 촬상 장치의 감도를 향상시켜 화질을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다.

한국 전통 자수의 색채와 배색에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Coloring and the Arrangement of Colors of Korean Traditional Embroidery)

  • This study examines the Korean traditional and characteristic coloring through the color of Korean traditional embroidery. This research gives the chance to establish the cultural identity of Korea and presents the aesthetic standard of color images. Also, practical use of Korean traditional colors through this study provide opportunities which develope cultural merchandise in the world. were chosen as the references to analyzed the Korean traditional colors through gungsu: court embroidery, buddhist embroidery, everyday embroidery and clothing embroidery. Because this book published in commemoration of '20th General Conference and 21th General Assembly of ICOM' in 2004, which presented excellence of Asian culture. The color of these works were divided by 'Pantone Solid Color Chips' which organized by CMYK color system and categorized by Obangsaek. 'Gungsu' had vivid and splendid color sense which used strong and bright colors and 'buddhist embroidery' had mild and mysterious feelings which used low saturation.'Everyday embroidery' used the red color group frequently and 'clothing embroidery' had brighter colors comparing to other embroidery groups. The 'Chung(blue)' group had diverse color tone rather than one-tone color. This means that Koreans prefer the 'Chung' and used it regularly, also this color symbolized the racial characteristics. Even though 'Whang(yellow)' was prohibited because the color for emperor, in the case of embroidery, there were a variety of yellow colors from 'gold' to pale yellow and grayish yellow. The arrangement of colors in 'gungsu', tone on tone, complementary and bicolore coloring was used mostly which presented a strong and elegant color sense. On the other side, 'buddhist embroidery' used tonal coloring which gave gentle and noble feeling. 'Everyday embroidery' presented separation and accented coloring which was the example of common people's humor and originality. In the case of 'clothing embroidery', there was dominant lightness, separation, tone on tone and camaieu coloring which added gorgeousness in Korean traditional clothing.

현대 패션에 표현된 오르피즘 특성 (A Study on the Orphism Expression Effect in Contemporary Fashion)

  • Dynamic orphism images expressed with abstraction and construction in color are often found in modern fashion. Orphism stressing color is one of the many art trends that influence fashion. This work aims to examin its expressive effects and characteristics that appear in fashion and provide basic materials for fashion design study. This study proceeds with the following steps. First, the study takes on a theoretical examination of the orphism trend using a literature review. Second, based on its results, modern fashion's expressive features influenced by orphism are analyzed. Third, the study draws expression effects in modern fashion from these characteristics. The study coverage is confined to domestic and foreign collections released in the 21st century. The study contents come from an Internet-base domestic and international database and published material, including dissertations and books. Orphism expression effects are found in the following ways in modern fashion. First, it lies in the abstraction effect of color. This feature arrays flat geometric figure on the clothing surface and applies a strong sense of color inside it, as if color has an abstractive structured design. Second, it gives a dynamic sense visually to the clothes all at once by stressing the relation among and between the colors with powerful contrast. Third, it has a collage effect of color. This effect develops into an organic combination composed of geometric plane figures with intense complementary colors in a single piece of clothing. Expression types that presents the orphism effect in fashion are divided into clothing showing traditional orphism characteristics faithfully and clothing expressing conventional orphism characteristics mixed with modern trends. Further developed orphism fashion can be classified by the playful type, with graffiti added onto an orphism color structure, and the destructive type, where traditional orphism color orders are taken apart and reformed into a new color order.

고려후기 아미타여래도 복식에 표현된 선의 유형과 조형특성 (The Types and Formative Characteristics of Seon Represented of Costume in Amitabha of the late Koryo Dynasty)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate types and formative characteristics of 'Seon' represented of costume in Amitabha of the late Koryo Dynasty. The results were as follows; The type of 'Seon' is classified into Standard, Decoration and Application types. According to three types, the types of the standard are subdivided into same rotor and no pattern and different color and no pattern, the types of the decoration are subdivided into same color and pattern and different color and pattern, And the types of the application are subdivided into wrinkle and beads-decorated wrinkle according to whether decorative beads exist or not. In the Standard type of Seon, same color and no pattern in the Decoration type of Seon, different color and pattern was most often used as its type while, in the applied type of Seon had its main type of beads-decorated wrinkle. Patterns used for Seon were complex in its composition type and filing in its arrangement style. Seon was used mainly for guneui(裙衣) and daeeui(大衣). The color arrangement of Seon, in most cases, used complementary colors, followed by same ones. Regarding costumes aesthetic characteristics in accordance with the type of Seon, those costumes appeared natural and plain when their Seon was same color and no pattern in type, artificial and plain when their Seon was different color and no pattern in type, natural and brilliant when same color and pattern in type and artificial and brilliant when different color and pattern. In regard to the applied type of Seon, such costumes looked sophisticated and delicate when their Seon was wrinkle in type and dynamic and decorative when beads-decorated wrinkle.

비간섭 프로젝션 기반 증강현실을 위한 컨텐츠 적응형 패턴 은닉 (Content Adaptive Pattern Concealment for Nonintrusive Projection-based AR)

  • 최근 보색 패턴(complementary pattern)을 이용한 비간섭 프로젝션 기반 증강현실 기술이 제안되었으며, 가상 스튜디오에 활용하는 방안이 모색되고 있다. 그러나, 관련 기술은 삽입된 보색 패턴의 비가시성이 보정 성능과 상충된다는 문제를 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 보색 패턴의 비가시성과 보정 성능 사이의 상충관계를 완화하기 위해 컨텐츠 적응형 패턴 은닉 기술을 제안한다. 증강현실 영상의 색감 및 텍스처의 복잡도에 따라 지역적으로 (locally) 다른 채널 및 세기로 보색 패턴을 삽입한다. 우선, YIQ 컬러 공간에서 표현된 증강현실 영상을 균일한 크기의 영역으로 나눈 다음, 각 영역에 대해 I 성분이 지배적이면 Q 채널에 패턴을 삽입하고 Q 성분이 지배적이면 I 채널에 패턴을 삽입한다. 또한, 각 영역에 대해 미분 필터를 이용하여 텍스처의 복잡도를 계산한 후, 텍스처의 복잡도가 크다면 강한 패턴을, 복잡도가 작으면 약한 패턴을 삽입한다. 다양한 실험 및 사용자 평가를 통해, 제안된 방법은 기존 방법에 비해 크게 두 가지 상반되는 장점을 가짐을 확인하였다. 스크린의 기하 및 컬러 정보를 획득하는 성능 면에서 제안된 방법이 기존의 방법과 유사하도록 채널 및 패턴의 세기를 결정한다면, 기존의 방법에 비해 패턴의 비가시성이 크게 개선된다. 반대로, 제안된 방법의 패턴의 비가시성이 기존의 방법과 유사하도록 채널 및 패턴의 세기를 결정한다면, 기존의 방법에 비해 스크린의 기하 및 컬러 정보를 획득하는 성능이 크게 개선된다.

비대칭 Si3N4 격자를 사용한 고효율 GMR 컬러 필터의 구현 (Implementation of Highly Efficient GMR Color Filter using Asymmetric Si3N4 Gratings)

  • 본 논문에서는 높은 효율의 GMR(guided-mode resonant) 컬러 필터를 제안하고 구현하였다. GMR 컬러 필터는 서로 보완적인 고정 격자와 이동 격자가 포함한 $Si_3N_4/air$ 층으로 구성하였다. 제안한 소자는 정확한 등가 전송선로 이론(RETT)에 기초한 수치 해석과 서브 파장 대역에서 동작하는 격자구조를 사용하여 설계하였다. 수치해석 결과, GMR 컬러 필터는 $0.45{\mu}m{\sim}0.55{\mu}m$ 범위에서 blue-green 컬러에 대하여 그리고 $0.6{\mu}m{\sim}0.7{\mu}m$ 범위에서 red 컬러에 대하여 약 35 nm의 동조특성을 보였다. 또한, 컬러 필터는 blue, green 그리고 red 컬러의 중심 주파수에서 각각 99%, 98%, 99%의 효율을 가지고 약 8 nm의 대역폭을 나타내었으며, 앞선 논문들에서 보고된 내용보다 더 높은 효율을 보여주었다.

영화 <박쥐>, <마더>의 색채 이미지 연구 - 의상과 배경을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Color Images of the Films "Thirst" and "Mother" - With a Focus on Costumes and Background -)

  • This study investigated the colors of the costumes and backgrounds of characters in the films "Thirst" and "Mother" from an integrated perspective. As a study method, ten scenes per film, which contained the characters and backgrounds from the start to the end of the DVDs of "Thirst" and "Mother" were examined. For integrated color analysis of the costumes and backgrounds, the colors of the captured scenes were simplified to extract representative colors, and then color palettes were presented according to the ratio of area. The colors of costumes were analyzed by recognition through the eyes based on the I.R.I. Hue and Tone 120. Furthermore, the color images of the two films were analyzed using the I.R.I. adjective image scales and the I.R.I. color image scales. The colors of the film "Thirst" were generally low in brightness and high in chroma. They are characterized by dark, gloomy toned-down background in the first half, highly chromatic vivid background in the second half, and the contrast of purple blue colors and red colors. The colors of the film "Mother" are characterized by complementary colors between background and costume colors, and various tones of blue and green colors. From the aspect of color tones, they were relatively high in brightness compared to the film "Thirst" but low in chroma. On the I.R.I. adjective image scale, contrasting adjectives were extracted simultaneously from the film "Thirst" as the adjectives were evenly distributed at hard, dynamic and static, whereas the adjectives extracted from the film "Mother" were distributed at hard and statistic. On the I.R.I. color image scale, both films were located at hard, but the film "Thirst" was located at dynamic whereas the film "Mother" was located at static.

색채 선호를 통한 치과위생사의 성향 분석 (Personality Trait Analysis of Dental Hygienists through Color Preference)

  • 본 연구는 CRR (Colour Reflection Reading) 분석법을 이용하여 지역사회 치과위생사의 색채 선호를 통해 특정 집단의 성향을 알아보고자 하였다. 광주·전남 지역의 치과 병·의원에 재직 중인 치과위생사 총 238명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 시행하였다. 8가지 색상 중 선택하는 순서에 따라 유형을 구별하였으며, SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫 번째 색으로는 마젠타, 두 번째는 노랑, 세 번째로 마젠타 색상을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 연령별 선호 색채는 모든 연령에서 첫 번째 색으로 마젠타를 선호하였고, 결혼과 자녀 유무에 따른 결과는 두 번째 색에서 기혼은 노랑, 미혼은 파랑을 선호하는 것으로 동일하게 나타났다. 이 연구결과는 선호 색채 및 보색을 활용하여 스트레스 완화나 심리적 안정을 고려한 근무 환경 조성 등 인적자원 관리를 위한 자료로 활용하고자 한다.
