국내 전자상거래는 거래액을 기준으로 최근 5년간 연평균 20% 이상의 성장률을 지속적으로 기록하고 있다. 전자상거래의 급증으로 인해 소비자를 직접 만나기 어려운 유통기업들은 고객과의 유일한 접점이 되는 라스트마일 서비스 경쟁이 치열한데, 특히 최근 가장 경쟁이 뜨거운 배송영역은 서비스 차별화를 위해 풀필먼트 센터의 역할이 매우 중요하다. 소비자가 주문한 제품을 서비스 수준에 맞춰 신속하게 준비 할 수 있는 역량을 반드시 갖추고 있어야 한다. 본 연구는 전자상거래 시장에서 기업이 경쟁력을 갖추기 위한 방안으로써 풀필먼트 센터에서의 신속한 주문처리를 위해 오더피킹 시스템을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 오더피킹 설비에서의 재고 보충 최적화를 위한 수리 모형 알고리즘을 구현하고, 실제 운영 프로세스와 데이터를 활용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 과학적이고 객관적인 방법으로 효과를 검증하였다.

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to analyse the relationship between R&D tax support policy and firm innovation activity using data on firms engaged in 12 national strategic technology sectors. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected survey data from 664 companies engaged in national strategic technologies. The data were then analysed using the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) analysis. Findings - First, corporate R&D tax support had a statistically significant positive (+) relationship with firm innovation performance. Second, there was a statistically significant positive (+) relationship with incremental innovation, but there was no statistical significance with radical innovation. Third, there was a statistically significant positive (+) relationship with the firm's first innovation, but there was no statistical significance with the world's first innovation. Fourth, there was a statistically significant positive (+) relationship with the number of R&D projects of a firm. Finally, there was a statistically significant positive (+) relationship with a firm's open innovation. Research implications or Originality - First, in terms of policy effectiveness, the government needs to consider promoting R&D tax support policies in areas where R&D competition is fierce. For private companies engaged in the 12 national strategic technology fields, the R&D tax support policy is working in the direction of promoting corporate innovation activities, and this positive policy effect is likely to be effective in areas where R&D competition is fierce. Second, if the government wants to improve the quality of corporate innovation activities through R&D tax support policies, it needs to provide incentives higher than the current level.

The market competition of express package deliveries in Korea is severe because a large number of companies have entered into the market. This study thus suggests an approach to the reconfiguration of express service networks with respect to the strategy partnership of closing/keeping service centers among companies involved and the adjustments of their cutoff times. For this we propose an integer programming model and a genetic algorithm based solution procedure for allowing companies involved to maximize their incremental profit. An illustrative numerical example is presented to demonstrate the practicality and efficiency of the proposed model.

We present a model, combining servitization decision and a conventional two-sided market approaches, to understand expected outcomes and current market situations. We suppose an individual manufacturer participates in multiple platforms and decides whether to initiate servitization by considering latent profitability and risk. The analytical results from the model show that increasing competition within servitized companies lead to a servitization equilibrium, wherein the ratio of servitized companies in a market is stable, due to a gradual decline in relative benefits compared to non-servitized companies. This holds even in the case that the number of customer is increasing along the diffusion of servitization, under some restricted conditions.

The number of domestic smartphone users exceeded 30 million people, and the time in the future everyone will use a smartphone that will come with ago. Past purchase decisions, related research and product from the competition between the past case and the relevant literature for the smartphone market smartphone type to derive a purchase decision factors in the decision to purchase any difference between the factors. Literature and practices through performance, switching costs, product loyalty, design, brand, after-sales service, the price more than 7 variables were analyzed. One hundred people surveyed, respectively, did not obtain the response of a variety of ages and occupations, age of the sample used in the analysis of this study, and is concentrated as a student at the university of smartphones used to facilitate users analysis was done. We expect smartphone companies and related companies to be able to give guidelines for effective technology management.

In this paper, a robust text detection method based on edge enhanced contrasting extremal region (CER) is proposed using stroke width transform (SWT) and tensor voting. First, the edge enhanced CER extracts a number of covariant regions, which is a stable connected component from input images. Next, SWT is created by the distance map, which is used to eliminate non-text regions. Then, these candidate text regions are verified based on tensor voting, which uses the input center point in the previous step to compute curve salience values. Finally, the connected component grouping is applied to a cluster closed to characters. The proposed method is evaluated with the ICDAR2003 and ICDAR2013 text detection competition datasets and the experiment results show high accuracy compared to previous methods.

In spite of the development of highly sophisticated instrument, the precise quantitation of plant hormones still has many difficulties. Due to their high specificity, sensitivity and minimal sample purification steps, immunological assays have been widely applied for plant hormone assay. Enzme-linked immunosorbent assay technique for the determination of plant hormones was developed by Voller in 1978. Immunological assays are accomplished by competition of labeled tracer antigen and unlabeled antigen for a limited number of specific antibodies. The use of enzyme as replacement labels for radioisotopes enabled much of the sensitivity and specificity of radioimmunoassay (RIA) to be retained but without the inherent disadvantage of high capital cost, potential health hazard, and short shelf life of the labeled reactants.

Client-supplier collaboration in new product development (NPD) has been a strategy in response to fierce global competition. Traditionally, Hong Kong suppliers collaborate with worldwide clients through original equipment manufacturing (OEM) arrangement in which suppliers manufacture products according to clients' design. In recent years, a growing number of Hong Kong suppliers have transformed to original design manufacturing (ODM) in which they are assigned a design responsibility other than manufacturing products. The ODM arrangement necessitates a close interaction between clients and suppliers, which brings about intense conflict. Conflict has been recognized as an important factor affecting NPD performance including product quality. This paper studies the conflict handling practices of Hong Kong ODM suppliers based on 87 survey data. The results show that the suppliers frequently adopt effective conflict handling practices by which they can develop products of good quality through better design decisions. The results also suggest that the use of ineffective conflict handling behaviors, particularly avoiding, should be reduced for better product quality.

The aim of the study was to grasp the current trends and to predict the future trends of space composition characteristics by analyzing floorplans drawn by housewives as their ideal apartments. The content analysis method was used for this study. This research used data from a competition held in 1993 by a housing construction company. Among 3,102 floorplans collected 12,232 were selected by Proportional Stratified Sampling Method. The major findings are as follows; 1) Some major features were interpreted as current trends; respondents wanted new rooms that could accomodate various functions separated the private spaces from public trends; they wanted to expand the verandah both visually and actually put importance on the number of bathrooms and have the space for outdoor living and leisure activities.

The authors analyzed the citation of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society, based on Korean Medical Citation Index[KoMCI] from 2000 to 2004. In this analysis the impact factor showed no significant further improvement in 2004 compared to 2003. However, the number of received citations was increased remarkably. If this increase can be kept up, it may have positive effect on impact factors. In the era of open competition of medical journals, the awareness and cooperations of every members of Korean Neurosurgical Society is essential for improvement of the status of our journal in a steady trend.
