  • Selective laser sintering(SLS) is a solid freeform fabrication process whereby a part is built layerwise by scanning a powder bed. The properties of metal powder are dependent on the heat, it is not easy to do the exact error compensation with analysis and estimation by modeling. This paper suggests that the error is compensated by experimental method and then the accuracy of shape is enhanced by revising of STL file. Also bonding force is measured by an experiment with change of process path.

  • We proposed driving method with variable integration time for ambient light sensing. One operation period of the proposed driving method consists of several sub-integration periods with variable integration time which can enlarge dynamic range of ambient light sensing circuit. Temperature dependent characteristic of p-intrinsic-metal (p-i-m) diode can be compensated using the proposed driving method.

  • Optical architecture and experimental results on low cost multiview autostereoscopic projection display are presented. The display, containing only one high resolution projection panel and only one projection lens is capable of displaying multiview autostereoscopic images. Key components, applied in the display are segmented mirror for splitting the projection beam and one-dimensional diffuser with slanted axis of diffusion for viewing zone formation. Image distortions, inherent in the display have been compensated with opposite sign pre-distortion of projected perspective images.

  • In a high power laboratory, artificial lines are used for SLF tests of circuit breakers. The line side PTRV is affected by the stray capacitances of testing and measuring equipment as well as the circuit parameters of artificial lines. The changing pattern of PTRV was examined, and the circuit parameters of artificial line for some examples were compensated using the changing pattern to satisfy test conditions specified.

  • In this paper, low cost inertial sensor and compass were used instead of encoder for localization of mobile robot. Movements by encoder, movements by inertial sensor and movements by complementary filter with inertial sensor and compass were analyzed. Movement by complementary filter was worse than by only inertial sensor because of imperfection of compass. For the complementary filter to show best movements, compass need to be compensated for position error.

  • This paper presents a novel circuit configuration for realizing the continuous-time active-only voltage-mode integrator. The proposed integrator consists only of internally compensated type operational amplifier (OA) and operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs). Since no external passive elements are required, the integrator is suitable for integrated circuit implementation in either bipolar or CMOS technologies. Moreover, the integrator gain can be electronically tuned by adjusting the bias currents of the OTAs. The characteristics of the proposed integrator and the effectiveness of the design procedure in realizing various analog transfer functions have been examined by PSPICE simulation.

  • This paper presents the reconfigurable flight controller in the presence of jammed actuator fault using the adaptive sliding mode control scheme. It is developed under the assumption that the control surface fault cannot be detected and the positions of stuck control surfaces are unknown. It is well known that sliding mode controller shows good performance for the systems with various uncertainties. None-operating stuck actuator makes the system behave like bias which degrades the system performance and sometimes destabilizes the system. Therefore, the bias term generated by actuator faults has to be compensated by the control system. To the objective, we adopt the adaptive sliding mode cont...

  • An iterative learning control scheme is presented with the aid of CMAC module. By enforcing the role of linear controller with the introduction of velocity feedback, it becomes possible to make the trajectory error equation stable. One advantage of this control scheme is that it does not require acceleration feedback. Computer simulation results shows a good performance of the scheme even in the case where the gravity is not compensated.

  • The low power motion estimation for MPEG-4 is a soft-core for hardwired motion estimation block in MPEG-4. This motion estimation is modified by 10 difference mode. So, this motion estimation decrease a power consumption compare conventional step search. This modified 4SS Low power Motion Estimation has been tested and verified to be valid for implementation of FPGA. The average PSNR between the original image and the motion-compensated image is 28.25dB. And Power consumption is 26mW.

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for the improvement of linearizing and adaptive convergence charateristics of the feedforward linear power amplifier. In this circuit, errors at the signal cancellation stage can be compensated at the error cancellation stage and the overall linearizaton and adaptation characteristics of the linear amplifier are improved. The broadband characteristics and linearizing capability are improved without increasing the complexity of circuits and the signal processing structure.
