This paper presents a natural corners-based SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) with a robust data association algorithm in a real unknown environment. Corners are extracted from raw laser sensor data, which are chosen as landmarks for correcting the pose of mobile robot and building the map. In the proposed data association method, the extracted corners in every step are separated into several groups with small numbers of corners. In each group, local best matching vector between new corners and stored ones is found by joint compatibility, while nearest feature for every new corner is checked by individual compatibility. All these groups with local best matching vector and nearest feature candidate of each new corner are combined by partial compatibility with linear matching time. Finally, SLAM experiment results in an indoor environment based on the extracted corners show good robustness and low computation complexity of the proposed algorithms in comparison with existing methods.

The object of this paper is to introduce the concept of a pair of semi-compatible self-maps in a fuzzy metric space to establish a fixed point theorem for four self-maps. It offers an extension of Vasuki [10] to four self-maps under the assumption of semi-compatibility and compatibility, repsectively. At the same time, these results give the alternate results of Grebiec [5] and Vasuki [9] as well.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out herb-pair prototype composed of Zanthoxyli Fructus, to examine compatibility regulation between them and to classify them into seven features of compatibility. Methods : To search usages of Zanthoxyli Fructus compatibility, we have investigated the classics of herb and prescription such as "五十二病方"(Fifty-two kinds of Diseases), "黃帝內經"(The Medical Classic of Yellow Emperor), "傷寒論"(Treatise on Febrile Caused by Cold), "金匱要略"(Synopsis of Prescriptions of The Golden), "附廣肘后方"(Handbook of Prescriptions for Emergencies), "本草綱目"(Compendium of Materia Medica), "得配本草"(Deukbae Materia Medica). Results : In these books Zanthoxyli Fructus was paired with below herbs; 桂(Cinnamomi Cortex), 薑(Zingiberis Rhizoma), 吳茱萸(Evodiae Fructus), 細辛(Asari Radix), 茴香(Foeniculi Fructus), 肉荳蔲(Cistanches Herba), 釜下土(Terba Flava Usta), 益智仁(Alpinae Oxyphyllae Fructus), 飴(Saccharum Granorum), 葱白(Allii Radix), 梨(Pyrus), 牙皂(Gleditsia Fructus), 杏仁(Armeniacae Amarum Semen), 蕎麥粉(Fagopyrum esculentum Moench), 胡粉(Minium), 白朮(Atractylodis Rhizoma White), 蒼朮(Atractylodis Rhizoma), 麻子仁(Cannabis Fructus), 大麥蘗(Hordei Fructus Germiniatus), 麴(Massa Medicata Fermentata), 生地黃(Rehmanniae Radix), 茯苓(Poria), 牡蛎(Ostreae Concha), 白礬(Alumen), 雄黃(Realgar), 烏頭(Aconiti Radix), 附子(Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Radix). Conclusions : Zanthoxyli Fructus herb-pair classified by seven features of compatibility are as follows; 1. Mutual reinforcement compatibility with : Cinnamomi Cortex, Zingiberis Rhizoma, Evodiae Fructus, Asari Radix, Foeniculi Fructus, Cistanches Herba, Terba Flava Usta, Alpinae Oxyphyllae Fructus, Saccharum Granorum, Allii Radix, Pyrus, Gleditsia Fructus. 2. Mutual assistance compatibility with : Armeniacae Amarum Semen, Fagopyrum esculentum Moench, Minium, Atractylodis Rhizoma White, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Cannabis Fructus, Hordei Fructus Germiniatus, Massa Medicata Fermentata, Rehmanniae Radix, Poria, Ostreae Concha, Alumen. 3. Mutual restraint compatibility with: Realgar, Aconiti Radix, Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Radix) 4. Mutual detoxication compatibility with: 桑汁(Juice of Mori Folium), 桑根汁(Juice of Morus Cortex), 大蒜(Allii Bulbus), 薺苨(Remotiflori Radix), 桂汁(Juice of Cinnamomi Cortex).

The presnt study investigated the effect of stimulus-response compatibility (S-R compatibility) on Hangul transcription typing. In this experiment, two condition were manipulated, the first was a low S-R compatibility condition in which consonants were typed with left hand and vowels with right hand; the second was a high S-R compatibility condition in which hands for consonants and vowels were reversed. Subjects were requested to type the letter presented on the screen as accurately and immediately as possible. It was found that the compatibility interacted with the vowel shape. That is, in the high S-R compatibility condition, the response time was shorter when letters of vertically- shaped vowel were typed than when those of horizontally-shaped vowel were typed. In the low S-R compatibility codition, however, the response time was shorter for letters of horizontally-shaped vowel than for those of vertically-shaped vowel.

Purpose The high-technology market shows characteristics of a highly interdependent network market in both supply-side and demand-side, compared to other markets. Particularly, for convergence products, connectivity with related elements, as well as characteristics of innovation itself, is relatively important to the extent that they combine functions provided by several devices into a single device. Therefore, this study aims to identify whether network externality exists in value and adoption of a convergence product and discover a source of network externality, if any. Design/methodology/approach: Through a preceding research analysis and a literature review, 'social influence' and 'network size' have been drawn as direct network elements. On the other hand, general (comprehensive) concept compatibilities including 'intra-technology compatibility', 'inter-technology compatibility' and 'complementary-technology compatibility' are regarded as indirect network elements. Findings: Major findings are as followed;- First, it is shown that the factors influencing on perceived value of a convergence products are 'social influence' and 'network size' as the direct network elements and 'complementary-compatibility' among indirect network elements. Second, it is also found that 'intra-technology compatibility', 'inter-technology compatibility', 'complementary-compatibility' and 'perceived value' have significant effects on adoption of a convergence product. Particularly, it is known that 'complementary-compatibility' is an important source of network externality as it plays a decisive role in value judgment and has significant effects on perceived value. It is worthwhile to notice that this study comprehensively explains effects of network on high-tech products by structuring comparability as a multi-dimensional concept, as well as direct network elements.

Korea is one of active countries in terms of FTA(Free Trade Agreement) around the globe. Local market is not big enough for Korean companies. This is why Korea is actively participating in FTA with various countries. Individual companies should conform to regulation, policy and system relevant to the agreement. Otherwise, it is not easy for companies to enjoy benefits of FTA. The Korean government is using various FTA programs to support domestic companies, in particular SMEs(Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises). FTA-PASS is a representative program. FTA-PASS is an official program of Korea Customs Service. Korean companies can use the program as free. However, some companies may have difficulties regarding the use of FTA-PASS. The program may cause of compatibility problem related their own ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. This study is designed to analyze determinants of FTA-PASS and ERP system compatibility. Furthermore this study aims to examine effects of the system compatibility on export performances. This study collected data from Koreas SMEs. In specific, the primary data was based on surveys distributed to 303 SMEs. Based on empirical findings, we could get important determinants to improve compatibility between FTA-PASS and ERP systems. For instance, the government support, product standardization, HS Code clearness and market stability could be considered important determinants. Also, according to empirical findings, a positive relationship between system compatibility an export performance was supported. Analyzing comprehensive determinants of system compatibility can be suggested as an important topic for future research.

The compatibility of concrete repairs is proposed by D. Cusson et al. and N. K. Emberson et al. But this is the general compatibility of concrete repairs. This study is actualized the general compatibility of concrete repairs on the flexural specimen under bending load. This study is obtained following results. 1) As a results of analysis for repair effects on failure shape, debonding between concrete and repairs, yielding load and ultimate/yielding ratio, the repair effects is ascertained that the repair R3 is much excellent than the repair R7, but on the other hand R7 is very high than R3 on the viewpoint of compressive strength, where repair R7, R3 is a product. 2) Therefore the compatibility of concrete repair proposed by D. Cusson et al. and N. K. Emberson et al. must be reanalyzed for structures types of column, beam, wall, slab et al.

It is quite essential that requirements allocation and analysis would be done for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of all units when designing a satellite. Although KOMPSAT-2 inherits relatively large portions of the electrical designs from KOMPSAT-1, it has a new instrument and different combinations of sensors and actuators as well as their driving circuitry. Many requirements for the electromagnetic compatibility were modified and newly allocated for KOMPSAT-2. Naturally, they must be justified through analyses from the early stage of the program. In this paper, the EMC compatibility requirements for KOMPSAT2 are presented and verified for their suitability. In addition, some results, which were obtained from various analyses, are presented and discussed.

As an extension of Technology Acceptance Models (TAM), the relative importance of perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEU) in adopting two different mobile services are examined using service compatibility and user trust as moderating variables. This research shows that PEU is a relatively more important factor in the adoption of new mobile services when the new mobile services are highly compatible with existing services, while trust is an important influential factor in the adoption of services with a relatively low service compatibility. Trust does not significantly change the relative importance of PEU in the adoption of highly compatible mobile services, while the user's trust changes the importance of PU in the adoption process for the mobile services with relatively low service compatibility.

The aim of this analysis is to verify the electrical compatibility of the interfaces which exist between TWTA(Travelling Wave Tube Amplifier) which is equipment of the Ka-band payload in COMS (Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite) and external equipments. For each interface, this study checked the compatibility between equipments for the power links, commands, digital telemetry, analog telemetry, and failure condition or AIT(Assembly, Integration and Test) errors. In addition with this interface compatibility verification, this study outputs electrical and manufacturing recommendations to be applied at harness level.
