반려동물 양육 소비자의 동물등록제 인식에 관한 연구 : 소형견 양육자의 애착유형을 중심으로 (Study on the Perception of Animal Registration System of the Companion Animal Owners : Focusing on the Pet Attachment Type of Small Dog Owners)

  • 본 연구는 반려견을 양육하는 소비자를 대상으로 동물등록제에 대한 인식을 구체적으로 확인하고, 반려견에 대한 애착양상에 따라 동물등록제에 대한 인식이나 선호가 달라지는지를 분석하였다. 온라인 설문조사를 통해 250부의 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS 24.0을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 소비자가 반려견과의 관계에서 형성하는 애착의 형태는 동반자적 애착과 정서교감 애착으로 확인되었다. 반려견에 대한 애착양상에 따라 소비자는 단순동거형(25.6%), 친밀동반형(30.4%), 강한유대형(44.0%)의 3개 유형으로 분류되었다. 소비자 유형별로 동물등록제 인지여부 및 등록여부와의 관계에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그리고 소비자 유형에 따라 동물등록제에 대한 인식 및 선호도에 있어 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 실효성 있는 동물등록제 개선 방안에 대한 소비자의 인식 및 선호를 실증하여 소비자 지향적인 동물등록제 발전 방향을 제언한다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

QR 코드를 이용한 애완동물 등록 및 정보제공 시스템 (Pet Registration and Information Providing System Utilizing QR Code)

  • The current companion animal registration system is based on implanting microchip into animal body. Thus, the maintenance cost is high, and it may cause dangerous effect on the animal health. Moreover, it is very inconvenient in utilizing the information. This paper presents a pet registration and information providing system based on QR code for low cost and convenience in field application. The owner can simply register pet information on the web server, print the QR code and attach it to the pet. Any person can scan the QR code by smart phone, identify the information, and call the owner directly.

국내 동물용 의료기기 등록 및 판매 실태 조사 (Performance Evaluation of Registration and Sales of Veterinary Medical Devices in Korea)

  • In this study, we investigated the number of categories of veterinary medical devices registered by Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (QIA) by 2013. We also analyzed the sales of the veterinary medical devices reported from Korea Animal Health Product Association (KAHPA) from 2011 to 2013. The registration rate of veterinary medical devices has sharply increased since 2008, and a total of 495 categories from 141 companies were registered by the end of 2013. The multi-frequency products registered for companion animals were ultrasound imaging system, x-ray system, microchip & reader, telemetry system transmitter, and hematology analyzer. The veterinary medical devices for farm animals include marker, artificial insemination catheter, injector, and ultrasound imaging system. Of these products, the multi-frequency products dominated on the veterinary medical devices market. The market size of 223 (45.0%) veterinary medical devices was estimated to be approximately 20.6 billion Won in 2013; the proportion of domestic products and imports was 56% to 44%; the proportion of domestic demand and export was 82% to 18%, respectively. This study suggested that the registration and sales of the veterinary medical devices have gradually increased as the demand of health care services got bigger in Korea.

  • 본 논문은 비문과 반려견의 랜드마크를 설정하여 개체를 식별하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 최근 반려견을 유기하는 현상이 점차 늘어나고 있는 추세이며 유기된 개체 수도 급증하고 있다. 이 유기된 반려견은 야생화가 되어 사람들의 일상생활에 많은 피해를 주고 있어 심각한 문제를 발생시키고 있다. 이에 대한 해결 방법으로 동물등록제가 시행되고 있으나 일부 반려견 주인들은 칩을 삽입하는 등록 방법에 대해 기피하는 현상이 있어 완전한 등록제가 정착되지 않고 있다. 반려견을 등록할 때에 반려견주들의 혐오감이나 기피 현상을 제거하는 것이 반려동물등록제를 정착시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기피 현상을 없애고 반려견주들이 친근하게 반려견을 등록할 수 있도록 비문과 반려견의 랜드마크를 설정하여 개체를 식별하는 방법을 제안하였다.

Paternity Diagnosis using The Multiplex PCR with Microsatellite Markers in Dogs

  • The number of abandoned dogs is increasing with the worsening of the economy and the rising of feed value. It was becoming a serious social problem because of the disease transmission and destruction of natural ecosystems by abandoned dogs been wild animal. In order to solve these problems, companion dogs necessary to secure its own genetic information and to establish the systematic tracking system. Using multiplex-PCR method with 27 microsatellite marker (MS marker) divided 3 set, various alleles occurring to 6 dog breed (Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, English Springer Spaniel, Belgian Malinois, Jindo Dog, PoongSan Dog) make use of markers to determine allele frequency and heterozygosity. MS marker FH2834 and FH2790 have only two allele and most were found in 13 alleles at FH3381 and FH3399. Average heterozygosity of MS marker is 0.534 and especially, heterozygosity represented the highest value of 0.765 at FH3381. So, it was recognized appropriate allele frequency for individual identification and paternity diagnosis in companion dogs. Using multiplex-PCR method with MS marker, various alleles occurring to dog breed make use of markers to deter mine individual identification and paternity diagnosis, traits associated biomarkers and breed-specific marker for faster, more accurate and ways to reduce the analysis cost. Based on this result, a scientific basis was established to the existing pedigree data by applying genetics additionally. Animal registration system is expected to be conducted nationwide in future. The method expects to very useful this system.

홍삼박을 활용한 토양미생물제제가 수박의 생육에 미치는 영향 -현장연구를 중심으로- (Effects of Soil Microbial Agent with Red Ginseng Marc on Growth of Watermelon -A Field Study-)

  • The aim of the present study was to determine the effects of soil microbial agent with red ginseng marc on growth of watermelon during 5 months. The three treatments were distributed in a completely randomized design with four replicates per plot. After 1 week in planting dates, the growth of watermelon (full length, stem thichness, leaf length and lead width) showed no significant difference in all treatments. During elongation stage (20 days), soil microbial agent with red ginseng marc was increased by 5% in leaf thickness (May 23) and 7~14% in leaf length (May 16 and 23) when compared to other treatments. For changes in fruit bearing thickness, there were no differences among treatments. Characteristics of watermelon in harvest season have an effect on harvest and length, stalk length, naval length, weight, sugar content and yield, except for harvest and width. In particular, yields increased with treatments with two soil microbial agent (7~12%), indicating that soil microbial agent with red ginseng marc showed higher yield than the other treatments. In conclusion, red ginseng marc-treated soil microbial agents have a positive effect on the harvest season of watermelon and can provide useful information for the selection of the functional microbial properties and the registration of microbial fertilizer.
