  • In this paper, the educational effects of NETCLASS(network-based collaborative learning system) for EICE(education on information communication ethics) were verified by a non-equivalent control group protest-posttest design. We experimented our system on an experimental group (45 learners) and a comparative group (45 learners) respectively with a defining issues test (DIT). The t-value is 5.108 which shows the difference of the mean value between the experimental group and the comparative group, and their average p-mark shows that the difference is statistically meaningful at p<.001 level. Thus, the experiment using NETCLASS and DIT suggests that the morality of the experimental group is higher than that of the comparative group(t(88)=+5.108, p<.001). This paper suggests very strong possibility that the abilities such as creativity, sociality, morality and emotivity can be improved by utilizing ICT(Information and Communication Technology).

  • This research defines research support service, and compares the support service provided by college libraries in Korea and overseas. The findings showed that the frequency of college library service in Korean schools were low. Korean college libraries' services were mostly limited to the services of a normal library such as bibliographic education, full text service, and interlibrary loan service. To put it differently, Korean college libraries lacked information services on research ethics. Research spot services per research stage were mostly restricted to the data collection stage, and deficient elsewhere. On the other hand, college libraries in the U.S. were providing a platform for scholarly communication between researcher and scholars via websites.

  • This paper examines the necessity and direction of digital literacy education as university education in the AI era. Digital literacy can be considered universal education about everyday culture in a digital environment, and its scope is expanding to cultivate the competencies necessary for citizens of a digital society, rather than simply the ability to use digital devices. In this paper, the university liberal arts curriculum has strengthened the information literacy area to reflect the changes of the times, but it is presented as a problem that it is still focused on the technical aspects of learning how to use digital devices and specific programs. It was suggested that the direction of digital literacy education in universities should not be limited to the technical and instrumental aspects of using digital devices, but that it would be desirable to focus on digital ethics considering the social impacts that may arise from the use of digital devices.

  • Elementary school students have a little awareness of privacy protection since they do not have many opportunities for systematic education on information and communication ethics. Hence, they are likely to expose their own information to others and sometimes bring on a lot of misuses by using others' information. In this paper, we provide an idea for teaching and learning methods which the elementary school students acquire privacy protection and management methods and raise their practical capabilities. We develop a role play teaching and learning model in connection with various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) activities and establish the instruction plans. Moreover, we apply them to the actual classes at grade five and six of the elementary school students respectively, and finally analyze the results. The proposed teaching and learning method shows that the students participated in a series of learning activities have higher learning effects on awareness of privacy protection than those learned with the conventional methods.

  • As the era of ChatGPT and generative AI technologies unfolds, the marketing industry stands on the precipice of a paradigm shift. Innovations such as GPT-4, DALL-E 2, and Mid-journey Stable Diffusion possess the capacity to dramatically transform the methods by which advertisers reach and engage with customers. The potential applications of these advanced tools herald a new age for the marketing and advertising sectors, offering unprecedented opportunities for growth and optimization. Nevertheless, the rapid adoption of generative AI within these industries presents a unique set of challenges, particularly for organizations that lack the necessary technological infrastructure and human capital to effectively leverage these innovations. As a result, a competitive crisis may emerge, exacerbating existing disparities between well-equipped enterprises and their less technologically adept counterparts. In this article, we undertake a comprehensive exploration of the implications of generative AI for the future of marketing, examining both its potential benefits and drawbacks. We consider the possible impact of these developments on the advertising and marketing industries at large, as well as the ways in which professionals operating within these fields may need to adapt to remain competitive in an increasingly AI-driven landscape. By providing a holistic overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with generative AI, this study aims to elucidate the complex dynamics at play in the ongoing evolution of the marketing and advertising sectors.

The participants were 411 nurse students at five universities and the survey was conducted from June 1 to June 31, 2016. The data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 23.0 using descriptive statistics, a paired T-test, Borich's Needs Analysis, as well as the Locus for Focus Model. Based on the results, the subjects recognized the present level of 'professional ethics,' 'self development' and 'interpersonal skills' to be high and those of 'communication skills' and 'skills for understanding groups' to be low. 'Professional ethics,' 'self development,' 'problem solving skills' and 'communication skills' were the most important sub-elements of vocational competency. A significant difference in recognition levels between present and importance ere found in all components of vocational competency. The four priorities were analyzed based on Borich's needs value. In accordance with the Locus for Focus model, 'communication skills,' 'problem solving,' 'resource management skills' and 'self development' were identified as the highest priority sub-factors of vocational competency to nursing students. Based on the result of this study, it is expected to be used as the basic data to develop the nursing student's vocational curriculum and program.
