The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation across all industries and daily life. Edutech is spreading in the education field, also bringing changes in university education. Non-face-to-face online-only classes at universities have spread after the COVID-19 pandemic physical distancing started. Online-only or real-time online classes showed diverse educational imitations. 'Metaverse' started to attract attention as a learning space and community activity support platform that may solve the limitations of online education and communication. It is time to prepare an introduction strategy for the actual application of education using metaverse. This study, first, by examining previous studies and cases of metaverse application, and second, establishing a metaverse introduction framework based on the technology lifecycle model and the innovation diffusion theory. Finally, we provide an introduction strategy in steps, a specialized introduction plan according to the main users is established and presented as a scenario. We expect that this study will provide the theoretical background of the new technology introduction and the spread of metaverse research. Also, we present an efficient introduction strategy, the basis for a service model, and a practical basis for the university's value-added strategy.

The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) and changes in medical services centering on daily life have ushered in an era of self-management through the smartphone health management app (mHealth). This study identified the factors affecting mHealth use among older adults with diabetes. A structured survey was conducted using online and offline channels for 252 older adults who were over 65 and had diabetes. The collected data were subjected to hierarchical multiple regression analyses, and subjective health status, e-health literacy, and interaction terms of social support were inputted to verify moderating effect. The main results of this study are as follows. First, mHealth use among older adults with diabetes was higher in the male, type 2 diabetes, and younger age groups. Second, the higher was the e-health literacy, the higher was the mHealth use. Third, a negative moderating effect of social support was found in the relationship between subjective health status and mHealth use. We expect this study to provide researchers and managers interested in mHealth and older adults with diabetes, with valuable theoretical and practical implications. Furthermore, this study contributes to improving mHealth use among older adults with diabetes and building a digitally inclusive society.

This study analyzes the results of a survey based on classes conducted in the field to understand the educational needs of learners, and reflects the elements necessary for SW education. In this study, various experimental elements according to learning motivation and learning achievement were constructed and designed through previous studies. As a survey applied to this study, experimental elements in three categories: Faculty Competences(FC), Learner Competences(LC), and Educational Conditions(EC) were analyzed by primary area and secondary major, respectively. As a result of analyzing CT-based SW education by area, the development of educational materials, understanding of lectures, and teaching methods showed high satisfaction, while communication with students, difficulty of lectures, and the number of students were relatively low. The results of the analysis by major were found to be more difficult and less interesting in the humanities than in the engineering field. In this study, Based on these statistical results proposes the need for non-major SW education to improve into an interesting curriculum for effective liberal arts education in the future in terms of enhancing learners' problem-solving skills.

Recently, ground subsidence has been continuously occurring in downtown areas, threatening the safety of citizens. Various underground facilities such as water and sewage pipelines and communication pipelines are buried under the road. It is reported that the cause of ground subsidence is the deterioration of various facilities and the reckless development of the underground. In particular, it is known that the biggest cause of ground subsidence is the aging of sewage pipelines. As an existing study related to this, several representative factors of sewage pipelines were selected and a study to predict the risk of ground subsidence through statistical analysis has been conducted. In this study, a data SET was constructed using the characteristics of OO city's sewage pipe characteristics and ground subsidence data, The data set constructed from the characteristics of the sewage pipe of OO city and the location of the ground subsidence was used. The goal of this study was to present a classification model for the occurrence of ground subsidence according to the characteristics of sewage pipes through machine learning. In addition, the importance of each sewage pipe characteristic affecting the ground subsidence was calculated.

While small libraries have steadily increased in quantity, parts of qualitative growth such as lack of manpower and poor operation have been pointed out as problems. Accordingly, with the aim of establishing a foundation for linkage and cooperation between public libraries and small libraries, the small library itinerant librarians project has been promoted since 2010, and its scale has been continuously expanding. However, the lack of manpower and poor operation still remain tasks to be solved, and the poor treatment and job environment of itinerant librarians have not improved. In this context, this study aims to examine the problems of small libraries and job problems experienced by itinerant librarians and to find ways to improve the job environment of itinerant librarians based on this. Through the analysis of previous studies, small libraries and net companies were investigated, and in-depth interviews were conducted with participants related to itinerant librarians and small libraries. Through interview data analysis, a total of 17 meaning topics were extracted, including 'lack of work authority', 'lack of work manual', 'lack of communication, community', 'lack of integrated operating system', 'poor treatment and working environment', 'malicious user', and 'lack of belonging'. Based on this, four improvement measures were proposed, including the improvement of the job authority and standard regulations of itinerant librarians, the establishment of a community organization, job security guarantees, and job education reinforcement.

This study discovers the general characteristics of B-class Emotional Advertisements and analyses their trend. A content analysis was conducted on 498 advertisements on-aired between 2015 and 2020, which were sampled from the advertisements registered in the TVCF(www.tvcf.co.kr), the largest advertisement web portal in the Republic of Korea. The analysis concludes that the B-class Emotional Advertisements, employed in a wide range of genre, is most incorporated in comedy/exaggeration genres and is on a rising trend due to 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the utilization of B-class emotional advertisement has also increased in domain of non-commercial advertisements, such as Public Service Advertisements, Governmental/Organizational Advertisements, and Corporate Public Relations (PR) Advertisements. The study validates the transformation of the B-class emotional advertisements from a demonstration of an eccentric minority subculture to an epitome of a new and adventurous mainstream culture, successfully serving a central role in both the commercial and non-commercial sectors. Depicting the caricatures of the social, cultural and economic phenomenon and the recent surge of individual's depression, fatigue and pessimism, B-class emotional advertisements provide sympathetic and emotional alleviating ground for people that contributed to its rise.

Auto-scaling is one of the most important functions for cloud computing technology. Even if the number of users or service requests is explosively increased or decreased, system resources and service instances can be appropriately expanded or reduced to provide services suitable for the situation and it can improves stability and cost-effectiveness. However, since the policy is performed based on a single metric data at the time of monitoring a specific system resource, there is a problem that the service is already affected or the service instance that is actually needed cannot be managed in detail. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a method to predict system resource and service response time using a multivariate time series analysis model and establish an auto-scaling policy based on this. To verify this, implement it as a custom scheduler in the Kubernetes environment and compare it with the Kubernetes default auto-scaling method through experiments. The proposed method utilizes predictive data based on the impact between system resources and response time to preemptively execute auto-scaling for expected situations, thereby securing system stability and providing as much as necessary within the scope of not degrading service quality. It shows results that allow you to manage instances in detail.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the characteristics of using new words, ability to use new words, and peer popularity among students with mild intellectual disabilities and general students of the age-matched group. A total of 8 students, 4 students with mild intellectual disabilities aged 14 to 16 years of age and 4 normal students in the age-matched group, were compared between groups using a nonparametric test. In the case of new words, 60 new words were selected through expert content validity among 301 new words, and then recognition and background information on the 60 new words were collected. As a result of the study, first, there was a significant difference in understanding of new words between the student group with mild intellectual disability and the general student group of the same age. Second, the correlation between the use of new words and the popularity of peers was compared for each group of students with mild intellectual disabilities and a group of general students of the same age as possible. Therefore, when providing vocabulary instruction for students with mild intellectual disabilities, it suggests that it is necessary to teach new vocabulary in order to increase their relationship with their peers and their popularity.

In recent decades, research became more data-intensive in the fast-paced information environment. Researchers are facing new challenges in managing their research data due to the increasing volume of data-driven research and the policies of major funding agencies. Information professionals have begun to offer various data support services such as training, instruction, data curation, data management planning and data visualization. However, the emerging field of data librarians, including specific roles and competencies, has not been clearly established even though librarians are taking on new roles in data services. Therefore, there is a need to identify a set of competencies for data librarians in this growing field. The purpose of this study is to consider varying core competencies for data librarians. This exploratory study examines 95 online recruiting advertisements regarding data librarians posted between 2017 and 2021. This study finds core competencies for data librarians that include skills in technology, communication and interpersonal relationships, training/consulting, service, library management, metadata knowledge and knowledge of data curation. Specific core technology skills include knowledge of statistical software and computer programming. This study contributes to an understanding of core competencies for data librarians to help future information professionals prepare their competencies as data librarians and the instructors who develop and revise curriculum and course materials.

'Thinking and Expression' develops comprehensive problem-solving ability to solve various problems in life and society by cultivating thinking skills such as creative, logical, reflective thinking, and connected thinking and communication ability to communicate one's thoughts through writing and speaking. This is a college basic liberal arts course established to improve students. The purpose of this study is to introduce the case of rewriting of literature reading and healing performed as an extension of storytelling learning in 'Thinking and Expression' class. In class, we read Michel Tournier's short story "Let Joy Remain in Me" and shared our feelings about the final scene of the work. Then, we each presented a question that came to mind as we read the work, and we shared our thoughts with the members of the group. Next, the students created the content that will follow the last scene of the work with the direction of healing. Through this, we tried to read the work carefully and deeply appreciate its contents, and we had time to feel the creative experience of the reader re-creating the meaning of the work and the effect of healing rewriting. Then, we turned the direction of reflection to the realm of the reader's own life and expressed their desired future self in writing, imagining that it had already been realized. Through this, we tried to discover the meaning of practical rewriting towards self-actualization.
