Nowadays many peoples are using helicopter in various fields, not only military use but also common people applications such as air-measurement, photography, transportation of goods and persons, saving life and fire fighting etc. And it will be expected more popular than now. Most important part of helicopter to increasing performance and to reducing noise is rotor hub-system. Hub system consists of rotor-blade and rotor-hub. We participate to develop next-generation rotor hub system with elastomeric bearing, part of rotor hub. In this paper we introduce about the role and shape of elastomeric bearing in next-generation helicopter hub system. Then we study about bearing-material requirements and measuring methods. Finally we represent some experimental results.

The carbon fiber reinforced plastics(CFRP) have been widely used in aircraft and spacecraft structures as well as sports goods because it has high specific strength, high specific stiffness and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Machining of CFRP poses problems not frequently seen for metals due to the nonhomogeneity, anisotropy, and abrasive characteristics of CFRP. Delamination is a common problem faced while drilling holes in CFRP using conventional drilling. Therefore, AE characteristics related to drilling damage process of unidirectional and [0/90/]s crossply laminate composite was studied. Also drilling damage like the delamination was observed by video camera in real time monitoring technique. From the results, we basically found the relationships between the delamination from drilling and AE characteristics for CFRP composites.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the casual relationships of situational variables and consumer characteristics on apparel buying behavior. data were collected via a questionnaire developed on the previous studies from 534 housewives living at Seoul and Pusan, and analyzed by Path analysis. Results indicated that consumers were affected directly by the buying situation and the usage situation, and indirectly by the communication situation and the consumer characteristics on apparel buying behavior. The buying situation was a variable that most affected consumers'apparel buying behavior. Apparel consumers showed the common situational effects on apparel buying behavior as did on consumer behavior of the other consumer goods. The casual relationships of apparel buying behavior were significantly different on the types of usage situations.

The purpose of this study is to analyze Adolescents spending habits and examine it. The data was collected from 1125 high school students and their parents nationwide. The resets are as follows. 1. About seventy eight percent of the responded students own relatively high-priced goods such as brand-name jeans (59.1%), a mobile phone (31.9%), perfume with a price of 50,000 won or more (26.5%), CD Player (24.4%) or electronic pocket diary (17.1%). The percentage varies according to region. 2. The Adolescents tendency for conspicuous consumption is reflected by 2.92 points out of a total 5 points, while their mothers'marks 2.18 points. By region, conspicuous consumption behavior is more common in Seoul than in other small and medium-sized cities and towns. Also, the more mother attribute children's behavior internally, the lower the childeren's competence is.

Increase in population and its daily increasing in our today society results in an increase in housing demand while traditional methods are not applicable. The project preparation and realization processes, based on theoretical and empirical studies, a creation of goods, services, and technologies, are the most important human activities. Selection of effective technological systems in construction is a complex multi-criteria decision-making task. Many decision-makers refuse innovations once faced with similar difficulties. Therefore, using modern materials and methods in this industry is necessary. Modern methods increase quality and construction speed in addition to decrease energy consumption and costs. One of the problems in the way of any project is selecting construction system compatible with the project needs and characteristics. In the present research, different concrete structures such as common reinforced concrete (RC) structure, prefabricated, Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF), 3D Panel and Tunnel Concrete Formwork (TCF) for buildings with limited floors in Iran are studied and compared from the viewpoint of different criteria like cost, time, applicability and technical characteristics with industrialization approach. Therefore, some questionnaires filled out by construction industry experts in order to compare criteria and sub-criteria in addition to evaluation of optimized structural systems. Then, results of the questionnaires ranked by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the most effective alternative selected. The AHP results show that 3D Panel system 36.5%, ICF 21.7%, TCF 19.03%, prefabricated system 13.3% and common RC system 9.3% are the most and the least efficient systems respectively.

This paper is to take note of national, social and economic movement, social & economic publicness of religion surrounding Yeonggwang, Joennam around 1910s. At first I would like to look at this period because regional society was in the middle of change of large transition before and after Japan's forced occupation of Korea in 1910s and March 1st Independence Movement in 1919. In particular we focus on spatially Yeonggwang in Joennam because this area is not only called as advent area of Buddhism earlier but also is unique regional culture and ideological topology where Donghak, Protestantism, Catholic, Institute of Won Buddhism and etc. Through casting light upon the above, it is expected to offer one clue for the question of internalizing value to be sought for in the national and social and economic movement by Korean religion around 1910 and public goods in the strategy and tactics to be selected and further publicness and practice lying in their awareness and behavior. In particular it is thought to have advanced the accumulation of case study of Yeonggwang in Joennam with representative 'place-ness' related to this. Along with this it is considered that our challenge is to restore and casting light again on common foundation of existence shape and publicness of various religions in the middle of national and social movement and economic movement in Yeonggwang of Joennam area. In other words, we expect that religions will continue individual efforts and common practices to urge social justice for historic and public value based on common good encompassing historic value, in other words, individual responsibility and social justice among social and economic conditions originated from Japanese colonial era.

This study aims to investigate the success factors of each market through the case study of Seoul Gwangjang and Jangheung Toyo(saturday) market which have recently developed as tourist attractions among urban and rural traditional markets in Korea. In terms of location, market week, establishment and management of traditional market, Gwangjang is a private and daily market located in the city center of Seoul, and Jangheung Toyo is a public and periodic market located in rural Jeolla Nam-do Province. Nevertheless those differences, two markets have successfully developed as tourist attractions by the complexity of generally common five factors. Those are the factors such as surrounding location of famous tourist attractions, competitive staple goods(items), price competitiveness for goods, roles of local government and(or) public institution, and marketplace promotion through the mass media. These factors will have a significant implication for the development policy from traditional market to tourist market or tourist attraction.

The purpose of this study is to research the characteristics and types applied to Korean and foreign luggage brands, and then develop pattern designs for the luggage by applying Korean cultural contents that meet the various fashion needs of travel goods. To select the Korean and foreign luggage brands, a web search was utilized by inputting the keyword, 'luggage brand'. The results, which were extracted from 200 web documents, produced 27 Korean brands and 29 foreign brands that met the requirements. For the data analysis, images and contents were collected through luggage brand websites, and then 927 pattern designs were extracted. The results were as follows. First, characters, figures, animals, and plants were commonly used for the pattern design motifs applied to Korean and foreign luggage. A notable trend was that these motifs were expressed in a stylistic way with a graphic touch. Also, a singular point was formed from the luggage overall, and regularly repeated patterns were very common as well. Secondly, pattern designs for luggage were developed through the application of 'Hangul', 'Hanbok', and 'Hanok'. Nine kinds of patterns were designed via the phases of change into a vector image and color adjustments, and were simulated in luggage design. Adobe Photoshop CS 7.0, and Adobe Illustrator CS 5.0 programs were used for the pattern designs and simulations. This study is meaningful in that it suggested pattern designs for different kinds of luggage in the motifs of Korean cultural contents. It can be used as a useful reference, as we are in a time period where travel goods have become individualized, advanced, and fashionable, as well as laying stress on original design based on cultural interpretation.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the actual conditions of the manufacturer's design processes. Questionnaires were sent out, and 57 interviews were used as research methods including designers, programmers, and merchandisers working for a knit manufacturer in Seoul, followed by a frequency analysis using SPSS 12.0. The results are as follows: knitted fabric goods were the top choices in casual wear. Brand image depended on 'elegance', 'modernity', and 'romanticism', among other lifestyle pursuits. The distribution ratio of the 'basic' and the 'trendy' knit was at 3:7 or 7:3, while the ratio of 6:4 or 4:6 was more common. Knit structure was proven to be the most important factor in the changes in designs. Style and yam ranked second and third, respectively. In addition, details (embroidery and beading), color, pattern, and processing were among the other factors, in order of importance. Based on the difficulty in designing and manufacturing knitted fabric goods, 'manufacturing cost:' 'lack of a manufacturing facility for small production,' and 'limited delivery time' were among the reasons cited in the questionnaire. These results appeared to have been caused by small-scale manufacturers or small-scale manufacturing facilities that made small volume production difficult. The results of the interviews on knitted fabrics that were most frequently used and with the highest sales volumes showed that plain, lace, links & links, miss, and 1:1 rib were ranked accordingly for S/S use, while jacquard, cable, 1:1 rib, links & links, milano, plain, and half cardigan were ranked accordingly for F/W use.

Currently, shipping by sea is becoming common because of the low price and the safety of goods. The ship is designed as a larger vessel to meet the need of this development. In the design stage, the investigation of hydrodynamic forces acting on the ship hull is very important in predicting the ship's maneuverability. Given that the ship docks at various ports for loading or discharging goods, the ship usually operates in various loading conditions, depending on the site condition and other various factors. Hence, it is necessary to investigate the effect of the loading condition on the hydrodynamic forces acting on the ship, to most accurately determine the maneuverability of the ship. In this study, an experiment of Korea Autonomous Surface Ship (KASS) was conducted at the towing tank of Changwon National University to measure the hydrodynamic forces acting on the KASS. The loading condition considered in this experiment is determined based on the draft, which was decreased by 5% for each loading condition. The smallest draft is 85% of the design draft. The static test as Oblique Towing Test (OTT), Circular Motion Test (CMT), Circular Motion Test with Drift (CMTD) is performed in the various loading conditions. First, the hydrodynamic forces in the Oblique Towing test (OTT) are compared with the result of other institutes. Second, the hydrodynamic forces in various drift angle, yaw rate and loading conditions are measured. Finally, the influence of the loading conditions on the hydrodynamic coefficient is discussed.
