중년 여성의 위기 경험 (The Experiences of the Middle - Aged Women′s Crisis)

  • This study examined the crisis experiencing by middle - aged women and tried to understand their lived experiences also explored the nature of their crisis. Method: The data was collected from 7 participants living in Incheon and Seoul from Sep. 2000 to Feb. 2001. The analysis of the data was made the phenomenological analytic method suggested by Giorgi. Result: The meanings of the lived experiences of the middle - aged women's crisis ; Impatience about decreased physical function : an attack of a disease, decreased strength, decreased quickness, decreased desire, increased concern of health, poor memory, easy fatigue, change of appearance, change of conjugal relations, sense of loss. Psychological, emotional disturbances : sense of emptiness, regret, sharpness, feeling gloomy, fear of dying, loneliness, feeling the want, loss of confidence. Attitude of active life : reinforcement of self experience, enrichment of understanding, search of self satisfaction, search of self development, development of support system, management of independent life. Envy feeling from relative comparison : feeling of comfort, unsatisfaction to the husband, yearning for youth. Conclusion: Therefore, the program should be developed for the program of physical, psychological, and emotional health and expansion of social role of the middle - aged women.

Post traumatic malocclusion and its prosthetic treatment

  • Mandible fractures belong to the most common fractures encountered in maxillofacial trauma. Because mandible is such a unique structure with hinge joint and masticatory muscles attached to the body of mandible, attention must be paid to avoid displacement during treatment. Displacement during fracture reduction leads to malocclusion. Many TMJs function with complete comfort and apparent normalcy in adapted centric posture, even though they have undergone deformation caused by trauma. This clinical report describes the patient with post traumatic malocclusion and its prosthetic treatment. His fractured mandible was openly reduced in changed position, as a result his occlusion has been changed. He was treated by prosthetic method in so-called adapted centric posture.

국내 가구업체를 중심으로 한 소파 디자인 경향에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Trend of Sofa Design Based on Domestic Furniture Businesses)

  • The shift to more practical and simpler lifestyle in the modern society is well reflected in people's preference when it comes to living room space and sofa designs. These elements are intentionally crafted to satisfy the customers' personal needs and wants, sense of comfort, aesthetic preference, and function. This study includes an analysis on the development and conceptualization of sofa designs, exterior materials, and colors of the furniture released by Hanssem, Livart, Borneo, Emons, and Jangin Furniture during the first half of 2007. Modern and practical sofas should be essentially designed according to the customers' demand and current trend. Such design principle is necessary to achieve and maintain competitiveness in the globalizing society.

  • Concept of the comfort and fitness has become a major concern in the basic function of the ready.made clothes. Until now ready-made clothes were not made by on the basis of the bodytype, but by the body size only This research was performed to classify and characterize the bodytypes of Korean adult males. Sample size was 1290 subjects and their age range was from 19 to 54 years old. 25 variables from the photographic data were applied to analyze the bodytype of trunk. Data were analyzed by the multivariate method, especially factor and cluster analysis. The groups forming a cluster can be subdivided into 5 sets by crosstabulation extracted by the hierarchical cluster analysis. 5 bodytypes classified by the photographic sources could be combined with the anthropometric data and were demonstrated with 5 silhouette. Type 3 and 4 in trunk were dominant and were composed of the majority of 55.6% of the subjects. Bodytypes of Korean males were influenced by the degree of posture erectness and of curvature of the front side of the body in waist and abdomen.

  • Tire vibration modes are known to play a key role in vehicle ride and comfort characteristics. Inputs to the tire such as impacts, rough road surface, tire nonuniformities, and tread patterns can potentially excite tire vibration. In this study, experimental modal analysis on the tire in ground contact are performed by a 3-D impact at the center of contact patch to investigate which modes of tire influence the vibration of wheel and axle. Through the experiment, the vibration transmission properties from tire to axle are examined. And we have compared the influential tire modes when the tire is excited by a vertical impact with those when excited by the 3-D impact. Additionally, the modes of ground contact tire are compared with those of the suspended tire.

  • This study is focused on the analysis of the characteristics of marine HVAC duct. These results will be applied to develope a robot which is for maintaining a cabin comfort, convenience and healthy through HVAC duct. The followings are the results of this study. (1) The evaluated items which proposed by at the view point of robot's function can be adapted to other vessels for the same purpose, (2) For the case of round type duct. the maximized conditions which robot has to have are straight length of 40.152mm, inclination of $45^{\circ}$. horizontal bending of $90^{\circ}$. increasing diameter of 1.28 times, and 0.625 times decreasing diameter in branch. (3) For the case of rectangular type duct. the maximized conditions are straight length of 15.987mm. aspect ratio of 4.17:1, inclination of $18.92^{\circ}$. horizontal bending of $90^{\circ}$, and 0.65 times decreasing diameter in branch.

  • There are various noises generated by friction. Among the rest, eliminating squeal noise generated during braking is an important task for the improvement of vehicle passengers' comfort. The parameters affecting brake squeal noise are the material properties of the braking pad, the dynamic properties of the brake parts and the dimensions of the brake assemble etc. Also, the squeal noise changes its inherent form(i.e. its sound pressure level and its frequency) with the normal load and sliding speed. In this study, the characteristics of brake squeal noise generated by friction is analyzed experimentally. The experiment focused on the analysis of friction self-excited vibrationand squeal noise level. Friction self-excited vibration is caused by the dry friction between pads and rotor, and occurs as a function of their relative sliding speeds. And Friction self-excited vibration is raised the brake squeal noise.

유방 및 브래지어 유형에 따른 의복압과 주관적 감각 (Clothing Pressure and Subjective Sensations Depending on Breast and Bra Type)

  • This study investigates clothing pressure and subjective sensations in brassieres depending on breast type or bra type. The results of this study show that clothing pressure and subjective sensations were significantly influenced by breast type. The flat type breast and drooping type breast have a lower subjective satisfaction. Satisfaction for 3/4WL is the largest; however, 1/2W having low preventing breast shake and no-wire bra having low bust-up or low arrange-breast are required enhancements in bra function. The results are useful to provide basic data and produce high-quality brassieres depending on breast type.

  • Optimization of 26 design variables selected from suspension characteristics for Korean High Speed Train (KHST) is performed according to the minimization of 58 responses which represent running safety and ride comfort for KHST and analyzed by using the each response surface model from stochastic design experiments. Sensitivity of design variables is also analyzed through the response surface model which ineffective design prameters to the performance index are screened by using stepwise regression method. The response surface models are used for optimizing design variables through simplex algorism. Values of performance index simulated by optimized design parameters are totally lower than those by initial design parameters. It shows that this method is effective for optimizing multi-design variables to multi-object function.

태권도복에 관한 연구(제1보) -태권도복의 착용실태를 중심으로- (A Study on the Taekwondo Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basis data for the pattern and material development of the Taekondo uniform by investigating the Taekwondo uniform wearing status of 260 Taekwondo players. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. In the current material of Taekwondo uniform, the problem of physiological comfort was generally dissatisfied in all subjects. And this unsatisfactory trend was founded higher in female player. 2. In the problem of the body fitness of Taekwondo unifrom, the unifitness of upper and lower clothes was founded higher in female player. And both of male and female player represented unfitness more high in lower clothes. So the current size of Taekwondo uniform, especially the size of lower clothes had its problem. 3. The problem of the sports function, the body fitness and easiness of wearing of Taekwondo uniform was generally founded uncomfortable in all subjects. But especially female player, fat type player was founded higher in the phase of discomfort. And accoring to the method of gaining clothes, the case of the slop was founded the highest.
