Dan-chung had many great traditional patterns of Korea. By investigating its patterns, which comprise the integral part of the formative features, and analyzing the aesthetic characteristics and formative beauty, the foundation was set to use the patterns as the motives of art makeup works. A focus was made on the basic elements, compositions and symbolic meanings of Dan-chung patterns. The representative patterns that were used a lot in Dan-chung made the motives of the four art make-up designs, which tried to integrate the aesthetic senses of the Dan-chung patterns into the art makeup venues. The four patterns were each based on the phoenix, bat, ghost face, and crane. The major colors used were white, black, red, blue and yellow, which were also the cardinal Five Colors of Dan-chung. They were changed in terms of luminosity and coma and manipulated to make harmony with intermediate colors so that the designs would ooze out the Korean aesthetic senses.

For high density optical storage, there should be a high NA objective lens and a shorter wavelength laser diode. To secure the disc tilt margin related to the coma aberration, moreover, it's difficult to apply the tilt compensation mechanism into the portable PC. In this paper, we proposed the 3-axis asymmetry pickup actuator with high efficiency symmetric magnetic circuit, which consisted of the top cover type inner yoke for high magnetic flux density, the coil stack unit for the 3-axis independent operation and vertically polarized magnets. For the micro-lithography using a KrF excimer laser beam(λ=0.248${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) a mirror system consisting of four spherical surfaces with reduction magnification 5$\times$ is designed. Initially the aplanat condition of the mirror system is considered. And for the further improved performance of the system the distortion free condition and flat field condition within Seidel 3rd order aberrations are added to the above condition. During the process of designing the computer-aided optimization technique is extensively employed. The spherical aberration, coma, field curvature and distortion of the optimized four-spherical mirror system are removed to the diffraction limit, and residual astigmatism and off-axial vignetting are not corrected enough.

The present experiment was carried out to study the pathogenesis of Newcastle disease(ND), ND virus (NDV) antigens and genes in various organs from NDV inoculated chickens were detected by immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR. Immunohistochemically, NDV antigens were detected in the spleen, thymus, cecal tonsil, proventriculus, trachea and lungs at 12 hour post-inoculation (hpi). Viral antigens were localized mainly in the cytoplasm of lymphocytes and macrophages. After 48 hpi, clinical findings of the affected chickens were open-mouth breathing, conjunctivitis, watery diarrhea and edema around the eye and neck. After 72 hpi, chickens showed muscular tremor, paralysis of the legs and wings, and coma. Histopathological results consist of multi-focal necrosis with hemorrhages in lymphoid aggregates of the intestinal tracts, necrosis of the lymphoid tissues, neuronal degeneration and necrosis, and perivascular cuffing. Using RT-PCR, virus genes were detected in the spleen and proventriculus at 48 hpi, and in the brain at 60 hpi.

We present far-ultraviolet (FUV) observations of comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) obtained with Far-ultraviolet Imaging Spectrograph (FIMS, also called SPEAR) around perihelion between 8 and 15 May 2004. Several important emission lines, including S I (1425, 1474 ${\AA}$), C I (1561, 1657 ${\AA}$), CO (1087.9, 1340-1680 ${\AA}$) were detected. Especially, the spectral features of CO are its electronic transitions belongings to the A-X, C-X systems. We also obtained radial profile of S I, C I, H I $Ly{\beta}$ with line fitting from central coma. The production rate of several spectral lines calculated from observed FUV photon flux. FUV spectral images of S I, C I, H I $Ly{\beta}$ emission lines were obtained.

Main-belt comets (hereafter MBCs) are one of the hottest topics in the solar system astronomy. They are objects orbiting in the main asteroid belt which show cometary activity. Unlike most comets, which spend most of their orbit beyond 5AU from the Sun, MBCs follow near-circular orbits within the asteroid belt that are indistinguishable from the orbits of major population of the asteroids. P/2010 A2, the fifth MBC, was discovered by on January 6, 2010 by Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research. It passed its perihelion at 2.01AU on December 3, 2009, about a month before it was discovered. With an aphelion of only 2.6 AU, P/2010 A2 spends all of its time inside of the frostline ~2.7 AU. We made observations of P/2010 A2 with Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory 2-m telescope only a week after the discovery. From the observed images, we found that the dust cloud was composed of large particles (>1mm) impulsively ejected between March and June, 2009. No coma was detected by our observations, suggesting that this object was no longer active. Consequently, we conjecture that these dust particles could be released by the impact collision among asteroids.

A Jupiter-family comet, 17P/Holmes, suddenly underwent a spectacular outburst on 2007 October 23, about 173 days after the perihelion passage. There has been no more outstanding comet outburst than the 17P/Holmes event since the beginning of modern astronomical observations. However, little is known about the activity of the comet before the outburst because of the accidental event. We found that 17P/Holmes appeared in the AKARI all sky survey data. It was taken on 2007 August 23, 112 days after the perihelion passage and 61 days before the outburst. The 9 micron images shows obvious coma and tail. We study the dust production rate from these images and evaluate the fractional active area. We compare these results with those of data after the outburst, and discuss the aftermass.

Clinical symptoms of acute stroke include loss of consciousness, aphasia, dysphagia, hemiplegia, without urination or defecation, headache, dizziness, chest discomfort, etc. As methods of oriental medical treatment at acute stroke state, acupuncture, fumigating, emetic, sternutatory therapy etc. were known. We treated a 69-year-old female patient who was unconscious after acute stroke with acupuncture and herbal medicine. Also, we chose Croton seed (Crotonis Fructus) Tansy (Artemisiae Argi Folium)-hwan for treatment and fumed it on the patient's nose once a day. After 7 days of treatment with fumigating therapy, we observed improvement in consciousness on the Glasgow coma scale, and other symptoms (aphasia, dysphagia, hemiplegia, without urination or defecation)

On July 2009, 5 fly larvae were discovered inside the nose of a 76-year-old female. She was living in Cheonansi, and in a state of coma due to rupture of an aortic aneurysm. Surgery was performed on the day of admission, and the larvae were found 4 days later. By observing their posterior spiracle, the larvae were identified as Lucilia sericata. Considering the rapid development of this species, the infection was likely acquired during hospitalization. Further investigation on the hospital environment should be needed to know the origin of the infection.

There has been lower the tilt margin by the increase of coma aberration due to the reduction of wave-length and the increase of numerical aperture for high density recording. The RF signal degradation is increased as the decrease of tilt margin. To compensate the tilt margin, the optical pick-up actuator for high-speed CD/DVD re-writable system should be able to drive the radial-tilt motion. We announce that the 3-axis drive actuator for high-speed CD/DVD rewritable system. And what was more, the DC/AC sensitivities of this actuator are suitable fur the low-speed playability, the high-speed readability and the high-speed rewritability.
